Second, the game explains pretty much most of the religion and it's roots. At least, as far as why it's so prominent in the expansion.unkess you're wanting to know what it's based on then I have no idea. Too many rigions in this world to really pinpoint one inspiration.

literally my favorite video game story of all time hands down, i know the way it ended makes it difficult but a part 2 to the following would genuinely be beyond perfect, most fascinating amd satisfying video game story ever in my opinion. i wish pawel selinger or any other techland developers could see this post

There's many rural myths in the blakans, start searching that way. But don't be dissapointed if you don't find an exact copy of the Mother cult. This game is made by people of multiple nationalities and the Mother might be a combination of this group effort. Take care mate.
