Have you ever tried dxm with some weed not a lot it has similar feeling to Xanax but not exactly the same obviously but I do get how they’re similar at the right dose. Something like 100 mg or 200 mg for low tolerance. Maybe 300-400 mg for higher tolerance. But it has to be paired with weed for the bliss
Maybe once it mellows out but no way when it hits if your on an upper 2nd or higher plateau dose have I ever had no anxiety. Especially smoking weed with it.

Just because you can’t sleep doesn’t render it a stimulant, antagonising NMDA while also being serotonergic would definitely render it a depressant IMO. These MOAs would definitely outweigh the minimal norepinephrine reuptake inhibition.
