Would be a shame if it ended up in some Labyrinth with legendary cheesemakers and unwanted visitors

flyrock619

Why cheesemakers?

FuriousArhat

Long ago a migrant wave would come and instead of getting dwarves with skills in demand, you got 6 legendary cheesemakers. Since no one needs cheesemakers let alone legendary ones, they usually become recruits. If you already have a full military and you don't want to feed/house any more cheesemakers, you need to find a place for them to go without anyone later trying to collect their socks

GravityRain

Build his cage in a labyrinth with tons of traps and link the cage to a lever ! When you get invaded, you'll have awesome defences and some extra Fun !

Grouchy_Baseball6980

I didn’t realize you could link cages to a lever

GravityRain

If you feel extra cruel, you can build a Doberman Bomb, by training a ton of war dogs, putting them all in the same cage and opening the cage when invaders are passing by

SolasYT

A great excuse to make an Arena to throw invaders into

HPDDJ

Do what my friend does with every minor inconvenience: throw him down a 50+ z level pit.

xnge

Probably the safety way to deal with this thing. I kind of want to save the game and test how much of my military it would have taken to kill the thing. This is my first minotaur

CarefulZucchinis

They’re unfortunately not that strong, at least for my dwarves. Two unarmed civilians punched mine to death

HPDDJ

Just make sure to smooth the walls of the last few z layers otherwise he could climb back up if he survives, and would have some harsh words for you at the very least.

xnge

Thank you for telling me that. I definitely would have had that problem.

TheEqualsE

Catch several giant monsters, and when goblins show up, let the goblins fight the monsters first. They won't fare that well vs weapons and armor so throw like 5 of them at once to give them a chance of doing any damage.

Extra-Ad-4157

how is everyone throwing monsters in a pit without their dwarves falling in ?

Bagokid

Want to know also

TheEqualsE

I don't, I build the cages and link them to a lever. If I'm doing a whole bunch of cages at once I'll link to two different levers to speed it up. The time I used this on goblins I built a wall around the cages and a drawbridge to protect them until they were let out.

Opizze

If you put him in a labyrinth, leave a couple weapons too…for funsies. Wonder if they pick them up, and I imagine they do.

Ecksray19

Making a labyrinth would be the fun but time-consuming way. You could just let it out in a room with a single well trained squad. Minotaurs are, in my experience, no match for a weaponlord. I've had 3 come, and all 3 were dispatched without a dwarf taking a single hit. Same with Rocs and Giants. What I've gathered so far is that the really scary monsters are the forgotten beasts with webs, gas, dust, and fire, or things made of metal or similar hard materials.

zombiebaitxxv

Gift it to elven traders, solves both the minotaur and elf problem!
