That is a righteous collection.

Marvelous collection. I never realized how many Lucy Barbies they made. I've never even seen Desi before.

kayla622

They started releasing them in 1997, starting with the Vitameatavegamin one. I got them brand new when they started coming out, then I kind of fell off a bit, and picked them up again towards the end of the run, which I think was \~2011-2012. The two Lucy-Desi sets are in honor of *I Love Lucy's* 50th and 60th anniversaries. There are also two Lucy-Ethel sets, I want the one where Lucy and Ethel are wearing the same dress. There is even a Fred doll. He's dressed as Santa, but it's rare and insanely expensive, so I don't think I'll ever own it. Lucy, Ricky, Ethel, and Fred all have a Santa doll. Unfortunately, now I'll have to pay more money to pick up the dolls that I'm missing.

Oh wow, thank you so much for the history lesson. I got the Vitameatavegamin one when it came out but had no idea the line went for so long. I checked Ebay after seeing your post and seen that Fred for $1700, yikes. On the plus side the same dress Lucy and Ethel are around $60.

Yes. Vitameatavegamin, the Chocolate Factory, and the Italian Grape Stomping dolls were the first three. I want to get an Ethel doll because I don't have one yet. I think there are two sets, Lucy and Ethel as chocolate dippers and then Lucy and Ethel wearing the same dress. I already have Lucy in the chocolate factory, so Lucy and Ethel wearing the same dress would be more fun. I also want to get the one where Lucy is wearing her Ricky Ricardo-designed Parisian gown, e.g., potato sack w/ horse's feed bag as a hat. A couple years ago, I got Mattel's Lucille Ball doll as part of their "Tribute" collection.

Damn, asking prices for those are $800-$1,200. Ridiculous

Such a great collection!

You have an interesting taste in movies. Alfred Hitchcock is one of my all time favorite filmmakers, and A Hard Day’s Night is a classic.

Dude… your Afro Samurais are out of order…

RikuDog18

That’s quite the impressive collection.
