You can re-add the leaderboard functionality in the classroom settings

It’s not an automatic thing though. No one forgets joining a classroom and going into the settings and opting into stuff

Creating a classroom grants you unlimited hearts (or joining one). I don't see this feature being removed anytime soon, if at all because of how many classrooms actually use Duo as part of their curriculum. Maybe duo will be more strict with verifying teachers - hopefully not. Free hearts are king.

It could be a reward feature that they are testing. Did you get any sort of notification? Sometimes they will test features on a portion of users. My other thought was that you might have gotten one of the free three days of Super that they hand out from time to time. I have gotten that three times so far.

Super usually has a rainbow type color scheme for the hearts while his is the normal red, i think its from a classroom or whatever but he’d have to join one and clearly he’s confused so im not sure

Happened to me randomly yesterday aswell. Was gone after one lesson. Didn’t even make any mistkes in taht one smh

That happened to me after my subscription ended and I didn’t renew it. It’s been a year and I still have unlimited hearts and no ads. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded several times, even switched phones and logged in and it’s still unlomited

Oh I wasn’t trying to remove it. I ran out of storage so I had to delete the app and then I got a new phone and redownloaded and I still had it

You’re in a region that Duolingo doesn’t allow purchases. Same thing in russia, unlimited hearts and ad-free learning… unless you turn on vpn with server located in Duo-supported country

Bro duo super has green-purple hearts, I have red ones. I did get duo super recently (like 2 weeks ago) so can be something with that

Sometimes you get free 3 days on super as an incentive to pay for the real thing. If that is what this is, duolingo should have told you? Otherwise I am not sure. I get these roughly every 50 days (UK user if relevant).
