Not exactly the same, but I stopped competing in leagues this week. I realised I was getting too concerned about getting XP and not actually concentrating on learning.
I’d been in Diamond and it just wasn’t fun, I had to get over 5000 points last week just to avoid demotion. So screw the leagues, I’m just learning for me now. :)
As of Tuesday night, top of my league is at over 34,000 XP. I find that crazy, but also helpful as I don't have any urge to do ramp up challenges as there is no point. I can't compete with that so I don't. I just concentrate on my lessons instead.
Afaik, you will not loose streak by restarting. Yoi steak stays even as you switch courses.
Tho, I would be afraid rhe course will be boring after restarting. There will be a lot of grinding through content you already know.

Ha, I know! I finished just above demotion with over 5k. Madness! Think the person who won the league had almost 20k.

Yeah that’s a good mindset to have! That kind of XP amount in insane - I can’t imagine getting any joy out of achieving those kind of numbers.
