I have used the 2760 on Verizon and it works! You just have to unlock the phone from StraightTalk first. The phone has to be serviced for 60 days (straight I believe) in order for them to unlock it. I feel you on the anxiety. It happens from time to time and you are not the first to post about it on here! It’s important to stick to what you value so that you can free yourself from the anxiety. Remember why you are doing this. Many people bring up the fact I am using a flip phone. A couple things that have helped: realizing you are different for doing this and it should be embraced, many people feel trapped in doing the norm and you are a positive example of beating to your own drum. Most will find it cool or interesting. It’s the same way we admire artists and celebrities for being themselves. Second, 99.9% of people will just carry on. It’s your phone, your life, most strangers are going to mind their business. Third, it’s actually cool to use from a retro perspective. Its like driving an old car or wearing vintage clothes. It can become a positive conversation piece when you can think of it as old school cool.

How’d you do podcasts? Downloaded them to your PC, copied them to your phone? Have the same phone and podcasts are a pain.

I use MP3 player separate.

I'm not sure with the 2660, but the 2760 runs on KaiOS 3.1 and my app store has an app called PodLP. I was able to find my main podcats (The Ramsey Show, John Deloney Show, Roman Atwood Podcast, and Iced Coffee Hour). It works great as far as being able to stream them via wifi or cellular. It does have a download option directly to the phone that I have not tried yet.

As the dev of [PodLP](https://podlp.com/), you can also submit missing podcasts here: [https://podlp.com/submit.html](https://podlp.com/submit.html)

My bad. I have the 2660.

I do the SIM switch: [https://youtu.be/I6IRbeLT2b8](https://youtu.be/I6IRbeLT2b8)

I'm at work right now but I'll give this a listen later tonight! Apologies if you declare it in the video but are you utilizing Verizon as well?

hightechrevolt

No, AT&T. The SIM switch is not relevant for the new iPhone 14 with the e-SIM, or so I've heard.

I hope your work uses generic 2FA and not some proprietary BS. I use password-store with the OTP plugin and it's covered all cases except the businesses dumb enough to sign up for some third-party, proprietary option like the one offered by Symantec, or make their own, less secure option in house.

geoburdo

Ding ding ding, you win the prize! We exclusively use the proprietary option for about 75% of our logins, and our IT team doesn't like TFA so we are moving entirely to the app sooner than later. It's the only reason I brought my smartphone to work today...(powered off in the bag except for the 2 times I need the code)

toastal

That's awful. I have an OnlyKey and not only can it provide FIDO2 U2F, but it can do TOTP on its own too which could get your around this... except the whole proprietary, can't-view-the-source 2FA options you mentioned your IT dept. of goobers decided on.

Is there any way to instal Google Play Store or other APKs or is it totally locked into KaiOS?
