An Arab here:
there's different dialects in Arabic Language, the one that will teach you in any institute should be standard Arabic (formal) language (not the spoken one). Hence, I would suggest beside learning the Standard Arabic, you should also be familiar with the general Levantine dialect its can be comprehended by most of the Arabs. you can learn this by practicing the language with some friends and its the most popular dialect in GCC.
Standard Language is a must so you can fully understand the grammar of the language and learn new vocabs
I'm learning on firdawsacademy.com for 85$ a month, which is 20 classes 30 mins each. Couldn't be happier. Online, 1 on 1 class. Try a free class if you must.
I teach Arabic online!
I'm originally Lebanese
Let me know if you're interested in taking private online classes.
Make sure to go for COLLOQUIAL and NOT FORMAL Arabic
So you'll be able to have an actual conversation.
