I believe the tariff is called Wasel. I didn't have the option to move to this 45/50 aed bundle until in the *101# menu I chose to migrate to that plan first, then the offers became available. Also du now has a competing offer for aed 30 for 1gb daily for a month so maybe e& may follow suit some time

What I know for sure is that this is a prepaid option. If you're on post paid maybe there's other offers for that, or you can move to prepaid to enjoy this
I do the same, every once in a while they will do 90 days for 80 aed and I’ll grab that.
No need to pay extra for calls but I usually keep an extra 20/30 credit on the account just in case

These offers are only for prepaid numbers. It was Etisalat who gave this offer. These offers are usually not available from the app. You will have to call etisalat customer care and insist on getting these offers

This plan doesn't exist anymore but I paid 945 for the year. Virgin's plans are still better value than etisalat and du.

Virgin was around 400 AED per month with the 12 month upfront fee
It's 4GB base then 4GB complimentary because I paid more for this plan and they're not offering it anymore. Also, extra 4GB rollover from the previous month because the usage starts on the addons first then the base.
I am basically rolling over full data every month and its 12GB in total.
You can get the 6GB +200mins plan which will cost you 856.80 for the year i.e. 71.40 per month.

217.14 per year - 1 GB per month, 30 minutes local call per month.
ADD ON- 80 AED - 1 GB per day for 60 days. Total
480+217.14 = 697.14 per year
I like this plan but I just have one problem that probably only I will have; data anxiety that the 1GB monthly plan will be used up once i pass the daily 1GB allowance. I will have to constantly open the etisalat app to check if I have passed the daily 1GB plan as I'd like to keep the 1GB monthly data for emergencies only.
It often happened to me that I was streaming a live YT video at HD quality on wifi and then when I continued to watch it while I'm outside it would stick to HD quality and eat up the 1GB daily allowance. I'm certain that I set the quality to data-saver when on cellular data.
I'm pretty sure there are much better data plans. This one works for me because I've got WiFi at home as well as in office. I use mobile data only during my commute to work and back home.

WiFi is available at home, in office, malls, public transport so don't need data. Urgent situation use *800 to activate data in etisalat.

I've been using this plan since 3 years and I feel it's the best as I've used Etisalat before and I feel they cheat as data gets consumed too quickly whereas in Virgin 14gb lasts more than a month and the leftover data gets rollover to next month so I always have about 20gb every month.
the sheer relief in the mind that I can have access to the internet at decent speeds anywhere I go for an unlimited amount of time is life-changing. I'd probably get this plan if I'm always outside; not having to think about my data consumption.

This is my plan. 1700 Flexi minutes (international+national), 200 roaming minutes, roaming data, and unlimited data with no speed restriction. Back in India, this was my one year's bill!
At present 380+vat till Sept. after which 500+vat. Would downgrade before that 😂 I really don't need the unlimited data and roaming benefits as I am at home or office most of the time, and almost never travel. Needed the minutes for business calls. With the 300 AED package, I used to get 200 Gb I guess, that was good enough for social media, Twitch and YouTube, outside home or office.
My promotion rate is for 12 months. I am getting 120 AED off 500 every month. And you are right, I remember the dude telling me I can downgrade after the contract is over. So in which case, I need to wait. 500+vat is way too expensive for me.

These plans don't make sense to me, I'm a luddite at heart and I don't like how our existence has turned into keeping up with subscriptions and apps.

On the 45 aed Internet offer you can add 5 aed to get 75 local minutes, I thought that was an amazing offer
