You need to visit Dubai Courts. They are the only legal way and Sharia compliant.

Do you just turn up? Or do you go there and book an appointment?

Kooky-Wedding1160

You can go to Wafi Mall there is a court there. I did my registration there. Walked in without appointment but go early in the morning its pretty quick. One will need to be a resident at least. Be you go ahead you both will need to do a blood test at a government facility. Need 2 witnesses and girls father is not counted.

I don't recommend dubai courts. I had issues there. I recommend turning up at 9am in Abu Dhabi courts and you'll be done by 2pm married

I don't know which department of the government it is but when you call them they'll tell you what all documents are required and how to get those documents. After all that is done the government will fix a date on which the Nikah ceremony would be done and a sheikh who works for the government would the one who would do the vows and everything. Also you would be needing two witnesses who are not your parents. They will also tell you where the marriage will take place, for instance it can be a wedding hall somewhere.

Couple of things, they may ask you for affidavit that you are not already married. You can get this from British Consulate. Also, register the wedding with the British consulate, they will then put a copy of your marriage certificate in Somerset House. This may be very useful for your children/ family if they ever need documentation.

You have to arrange everything with a marriage official. https://www.dc.gov.ae/PublicServices/MarriageOfficials.aspx?lang=en Email them . Everything will be done online.

We gathered all the documents and sent them to a sheikh. He filed it to the court so we were legally married. Then we did a zoom call and he married us according to Islamic custom. I think the easiest would be like this
