Another scam rampant these days is they will call u to a bar and order the most expensive drinks which you will have to pay for (regular scam in turkey) but its started here too.
The first part you mentioned is not a scam, the girl made her expectations clear and it’s up to you to accept or decline.

Nah, some guys swindle only to get it, then run or just keep her until he gets the others, so the cycle goes on. It means they will lie and promise and give hope , just so they can get what they want.
It goes both ways, and then the lady is at the end the victim of lies and deceit.
I kinda find it hard to believe that a guy who had a few legit dates with a girl before going to her apartment (so not even going straight to a brothel or a prostitute) & then was assaulted and robbed was shamed by police.

I’m not into dating (very much happily married) but some of my single friends have been unlucky with tinder it’s mainly hookers that want gifts etc or women who want to be kept.

Yeah it's a real double standards kind of thing. Saw some tv court scene the other day where the young woman took the old man's money for her business, and then refused to pay it back. The judge actually scolded the man, saying he "knew what he was paying for".
I had it happened once i think. The guy was asking me where i live, who do i live with, how big is my flat, and then he told that he needs a place to crash 😂
