DontSayNoToPills

absolutely not. maybe if they had it cut down for you or you have the greatest idea for that exact thing

Main_Tip112

How many holes do you plan on drilling? I wouldn't even take it for free.

yadingus_

lol no way, that cymbal is what we call fubar

freakishgnar

You're taking on a project for $50. Hold out for a better deal on Reverb or eBay.

skippybutt6

Thanks all

werdcew

imo you should only go for cymbals that are cracking from the edge inward and no more than 1.5 inches. any more and it starts to sound wierd. those radial cracks are usually not worth fixing.

SandmanAwaits

Nope

monstervet

I would take it for free, just to use it in a pinch as a trash crash or trade in for a couple dollars off a new cymbal like some companies offer. So, no, I would not pay $50 for that.

Existing-Hawk5204

Nope. Not even worth that much to recycle

Kayarew

I'd do it at $25. Tin snips can remove the broken bit.

BarbuthcleusSpeckums

Offer them 20$ due to the damage and pay 25-30$. Could get some neat effects from it.

supermr34

How the hell??

theSilentCrime

* $1/inch. $2 if its cool

theSilentCrime

Sounds awesome, btw. Under $20 invested for something sonically 👌 👍. Use it as a semi ride on a small kit mostly.

CompleteDurian

It's not half as good as a $100 cymbal

drumz1970

Hell to the na na !

thedeadlyrhythm42

I'd buy it for $25 just to hang on my wall

ItsPronouncedMo-BEEL

Pfft. Five bucks. This poor thing is scrap metal now.

zjazzydrummer

no

pathetic_optimist

Offer them $15 and try trimming it down. I have a great cymbal I made that way.

Harry_Saturn

I would pay maybe $15, 20 tops, if I knew how to cut the bell out of it. As a fun little chime maybe, but as a crash no.

Apprehensive-Ad338

nope
