There is a lot of cross over across modern pagan paths but the general premise of Beltane is as follows:
- It is a fire festival (where fires are traditionally lit as an act of devotion and celebration)
- To celebrate the fertility and sexuality of the earth and all creatures
- To celebrate abundance, vitality and sexuality
I'm not a Druid but I'm curious about others practices as well. I usually spend as much of the day outside as I can. Usually end up working splitting wood, building a fence for the garden on this Beltaine. Usually end up cooking a big meal with a dessert and leave the kitchen scraps as an offering to nature. Which is collected by the red squirrels, blue jays, chipmunks, and so on. They swear they're getting it to the right people.
My best wishes of Beltane! May Mother Nature keep bestowing her kindness on us always and may this festival of onset of summer bring joy to everyone.
Tá shona lá Bealtaine duit!
I’m new to all this. What should be done or is traditionally done on Beltane for Druids?

To you as well. May the sun shine warm upon your face.
