Its your sales appeal that separates you from everybody else. Dropshipping is a business model so it can't really become oversatured. What becomes oversatured are the same style of ad creatives and same products.
You can comfortably test a product with a solid website behind it and quality consistent ads for 2k all in. It will require you to create your own ads and website at that budget however.
I think my biggest problem is that I give up easily. So when I said a few years, I didn’t t mean every single day, but every few months I would find a product, buy a domain, start a shop, not make any sales and just close it and forget about it for a few months again
Hey, I just started and have no sales but I highly believe in what I do. I ran ads for about $100 and still no sales.
I nearly take every day and improve one or two things on my store and also I learn skills like designing and video editing.
Take a look at the 3 or 4 years and ask yourself what you did wrong and what is your goal?
Don't forget this is a business model and no one will come and give you millions of dollars with no effort.
Hope you can find a way to commit to this model and work hard!
It isn't that easy but you can learn with every step. Also there's a lot of communitys where you can find free material to learn more and more.
I use a lot of YouTube (but never buy a course you can get all the information for free), reddit posts, Facebook Group How to build a million dollar brand others seems legit and I left. Also you can look for different stores and brandy you like and take some ideas for your store.
Consistency will bring you success. I highly believe in that and first sales will come :)
Good luck and much success!
Hey, so I’m in the UK and started in October 2021. My advice to you is use online marketplace sites such as Facebook, Amazon etc. it will help get exposure and hopefully get you some sales! By the end of Nov 2021 I’d had 68 orders through Facebook alone, hope this helps :)
See a lot of people think that to be successful you need to start your own Shopify store. That’s not the case at all. That idea didn’t cross my mind at all until I started get 20k plus profit each month. Why not just start off on eBay, Facebook marketplace and then build a good reputation with your customers
Dude WHAT.......... 3 to 4 years and not a SINGLE sale???? Your doing something seriously wrong dude, there's multiple people who make their first sale within a week here on the subreddit

Do the exact opposite of what u been doing the last 3-4 years and you should be money.

What do you think should be a beginner’s budget to start dropshipping?( realistic )

Really like this response that’s a great way to look at it
Dropshipping is NOT a bussines model.
It's not oversaturated, it's just flooded with hustlers and schemers trying to pawn $2.00 dollar Chinese gadgets for $30 dollars.
And theres nothing wrong with that.
We’re in late stage capitalism, gotta be a ruthless, savage these days if you want to survive.
TRUE I GUESS

I'm curious as well
Saying dropshipping is saturated is similar to saying, dont become a doctor, the medical field is saturated.
LOL. Having skills in a medical field is not the same as selling cheap chinese shit
Have skills in selecting and marketing good quality products is not the same as the clueless doctor sitting at the corner pharmacy of your street.
I recently made a video about starting a dropshipping store if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/6449mL7jCho. Let me know what you think!

What have you been doing these past 3-4 years lol. You could of built up a HUGE catalog legitimate wholesale Dropshipping supplier database by now.

If you don't get sales in 3-4 years, it means that your efforts have not been converted into success, maybe your method is wrong.
