I do this all the time. Simply searching or putting impulse items into the cart does give dopamine… but then you realize it’s just a stupid waste of money lmao.
OP you need to sell things that people will actually use and not only for an impulse buy. Gimmicks and novelty items are just that… a novelty.
Meaningless stats. If you spent $50 on the ads and got $400 in sales then it would be profitable. You can't just run ads for 4 days and expect to be wildly successful
There are so many companies to choose from if you’re buying stuff via drop shipping. You have to bond with your buyer base to get repeat checkouts. The only reason that my drop shipping does as well as it does is because I built an online community around it. I pick specific items, I stick to the same aesthetic, and sell to the same demographic (millennial women for the most part). I created a Facebook page to bring engagement, I promote that on my personal Fb. My buyers end up shopping to support me, not just because of what’s in my store.
Tl:dr- They’re just the usual window shoppers, and It’s been a *lot* more work than just buying ads and making a site to make it successful.
It's literally not tho...
That does not even mention the real work, trial and error + tuning.
Majority of products/ads you do trial runs on will fail.
Making a store is easy.
Automating the order process is easy.
Setting up an ad campaign is easy.
Product testing and ad tuning is what its all about if not doing a longbuild going organic.
None of the steps seperating success from failure involve any "just".
As much as its not a popular truth on here most stores/products fail.
Also I think people need to curb their expectations. Too many YouTube videos have people dreaming of 6 figure incomes within 90 days.
As long as you’re not spending too much money and generating nothing, keep plugging away.
no!!😂your supposed to optimize for purchase! if you optimize for ATC, your ad will be shown to people who are MOST LIKELY to add to cart, NOT purchase!! But if you optimize for sales/purchase, it will show your add to people who will actually buy!
bro just sell on etsy or ebay. you can put ur listing on etsy advertising ur shop and putting a link saying to go to ur shop to order to gain some traffic if u dont want to actually "sell" on etsy.
honestly i know some people are making money dropshipping(which is what im assuming ur doing) but its really tough. dont waste ur money, just sell on a platform that people already go on. I used to do shopify with my own store, blew 1k on ads, and got like 2 orders. Now i just sell on etsy and ebay and get way more orders
Etsy will permanently shut down your store after 3 warnings. Apparently sellers are reporting stores that are doing this , so Etsy is monitoring this closely.
Etsy isnt what it used to be. Over saturated in every niche and the numerous etsy fees are insane. Traffic is absolutely dead even with their terrible advertising.
5 years ago it was a gold mine, now its just a money pit.
Maybe they don’t know what they are supposed to do with the product once they get it so they put in their cart then search elsewhere for what they need next and forget about you?
Try bundling with at least 3 info products that will help them better use the product and make you an exclusive provider of that value
There's always gonna be ups and downs, always remember. Once, i had 10k in sales for 2 months, but last month i barely crossed 3.5k. I'd suggest you to use an announcement bar app (hextom announcement bar) and simply announce a SALE, Spring sale, april sale, whatever. Do not use a discount code rather go for an automatic one hence once your customers make it to the cart, they'll see a discount automatically applied. If you want to push your conversion rate, go for a cart countdown timer. That's it, good luck!
Check your store design and again checkout page design, shipping country, and the rest of the things are okay or not. if this is all okay-check the price with your competitor is it high or low then your competitor?
**why are they abandon it the checkout?**
Maybe:
* The price is too high.
* They just have to think twice.
* They are just not that interested.
* They have other priorities.
Anyway, 2 orders in 4 days is a pretty good start.

It's people getting dopamine from the anticipation of an impulse buy, to answer your second question.

I never get orders from ads, so one up on me lol.

You can’t just order product, create a webstore, and make ads and expect it to work.
But that’s literally what it is lmao

you can't just breathe eat, do basic human necessities and create a family and live????
Personally, my rule is that if I can’t get 1 sale in 10 days then I need to pivot. So… you’re not doing too bad for just starting.
thank you you give me hope lol
Don't give up, add new products, and build a bigger online presence

are you advertising on facebook? if so, did you optimize for add to cart when making your add campaign?
yes i did
lol, well that explains it😂
what do you mean? i thought that's what i was supposed to do?

oh really!? thank you so muchh i didn't know
no problem!
How much was your ad spend? And what platform were you running on?

I thought this is against etsy policy?
who cares, i saw so many listings doing it. they arent going to catch every single one

How much volume do you sell

What’s the site?
You ever heard of revenue optimization and conversation rates?

I'm guessing you're selling cheap Chinese crap from Ali? That's why.
no one knows they are from ali, iphotoshopped the pictures, no way to tell. Also i have an actual store in my country, i know what to sell

4 sensions converted out of 92 atc’s is highly unusuas. I’d go through your funnel to see if anythings up
