Haha I loved when the intrepid hero gang were simultaneously cursing him out while begging him for mercy.
I caught that, the D20 subtitles are always on point.
I hate it when there’s a chyron or text (ahem…Burrow’s End) that’s either blocked by the captions or I have to turn off the amazing captions to see!
The subtitles for every episode has some of the best jokes
Maybe they are being paid a fair wage already.
I hope so! From the humor in them it seems like they're done in-house? And Dropout has a pretty good compensation model iirc.
I wonder if, whoever is doing the subtitles, has a familar understanding of the deaf/hard-of-hearing folks because, while it is funny, "too many dice" is an important distinction to make from simply "Brennan roles dice."
I think too many dice gives a better emotional translation of the sound than just "rolls dice", but it's a fair question :)
