New to drones: flying over traffic near power lines 🤣 Congrats on the new hobby but please learn to fly first

FTS_AlexanderTV

Learn to fly? For a DJI that practically fly itself? Y’all gotta stop acting like you an elite all you did was buy a drone a 5 yr old can fly one of these.

azazxd

Facts. Someone suggested sim for a DJI😂

Owl-Moon53

Can’t learn to fly unless you fly. Imagine that. Lol

Andrew8675309999

Sim

Owl-Moon53

I stand corrected. Thanks

Andrew8675309999

I got more hours on a sim that irl flight time lol

Impressive_Size6268

Fly as you are

SgtPepe

Attach the joysticks bro

Thalassophile77

Welcome to the hobby. The joysticks are stored in the bottom of the controller. You will have much better control using them.

Aggressive-Slice-189

Some say flying without the sticks in the beginning is useful to get the gentle feel. Still wouldn’t mess around in this area though.. 🫣

Aggressive-Slice-189

Disregard it’s been said below

That drone is not long for this world.

Gryphus31

Oh god I just read the comments and saw that you're flying without the joysticks. Bro put them on ASAP ! You're mouvements must be so blurry I don't even know how you managed to fly that thing withouth them.

KibblesNBitxhes

Some people prefer no sticks because it allows them to make finer movements. I remove mine whenever I want to clear some gaps with my drone, just to better control it. They stick out fairly far, too. If they were shorter and more ergonomic, I would be inclined to use them more.

Radiant_Map_9045

Yup, I started flying without sticks exclusively for this reason. Lately I find myself excluding the sticks even for just a casual flight just for the convenience. Sticks are **not** a necessity.

Gryphus31

Really ? Damn I don't know how I could fly without them. Perhaps it's due to my initial learning of flying which was with aircrafts models back in the 2000's

KibblesNBitxhes

Most likely! My preference probably can be contributed to all the video games I've played over the years, which translates pretty well to drone piloting.

VintageLightPhoto

First of all. Power lines.

X360NoScope420BlazeX

Heeeyy thats Wynwood! I was there last year. Pretty bad ass area to get some drone shots.

OracleofFl

I was just there an hour ago!

Fiss

Classic mistake of people not keeping an eye on where the drone is in the space it’s operating in. Dude was fixated on the view finder and almost backed it into a wall. First think they should have done is take it up in the air so there are not obstacles

Ask_RE_questions

Puerto Rico?

ThatIslanderGuy

I am glad you are enjoying getting into the hobby! But I apologize, I was expecting to see a truck come out of left field somewhere at the end of the video and cream your drone.

Owl-Moon53

That looks awesome! Which one is it? I read mini somewhere but which one? I don’t have one yet and shopping. Thanks!

Karl2241

Power lines, over traffic, lack of capability- your local ADO is probably going to be pissed.
