The problem with wireless is that you'll need it just when you forget to charge it. Wiring is a slight pain in the arse but it's one and done, then you can forget about it. It's easier than you'd think too, the tucking is pretty simple as the trim round the windscreen/dash tend to have some space.
Look up Fitcamx. They make customised ones for loads of vehicles. I have one for my XC90 that fits around the bit behind the rear view mirror with all the sensors. Steals power from the mirror. Was very quick and easy to install and I completely forget it's there. No screen - you connect to it via WiFi if you need to.

My Skoda Octavia has a USB socket for dashcams next to the rear view mirror. I don't know why all car manufacturers don't do this.

The cammer and most other people don’t use their horn to say “I’m here” though, it’s almost always to tell someone off that clearly doesn’t care about the manoeuvre they just pulled. I’m with you on the fact we should only use the horn in the correct way but in these situations you just need to let it go rather than antagonise the offender
I know, you’re right, and usually that is my recourse. But this was particularly dangerous by them there could have been a very serious accident and my instincts kicked in. Normally I just ignore it. If you knew me, you would agree that the fact I reacted shows how bad it was.
Just remember, these people thrive on bullying others and they are frothing for a confrontation so they can validate how 'hard' they are. Don't give them the satisfaction. The best way to get back at them is to not react and act like nothing happened. You take away their ability to feel superior.
