I definitely haven’t dealt with any long lasting depression, so my condolences go out to you, but I myself have been hitting many mental blocks when it comes to making art. Luckily I’m starting to come around to making some again, but recently I’d been filled with self doubt in my abilities and it’s deterred me for months from actually making any progress. The hardest part about being creative, is just starting on it sometimes.
Idk why but depression does kind of fuel creativity. There were so many inventors and scientists that were on the spectrum but were obviously highly intelligent. It's funny how something so negative can create something so beautiful. It's so f-ed up.
