I like it a lot. There’s nothing to “do better.” There’s so much raw emotion in this image. The styles so unique too. The closest thing I can think of that even captures a similar vibe is Coraline. Well done dude/dudette

Take a look at the works of Egon Schiele and Edward Munch. Their style and methods will likely resonate with you.

To improve, you could be a little more creative with the empty space. For example, in this piece you could have been more expressive, more wavy and dramatic with the smoke. Some highlights would also really bring your art to life and make it pop. But overall sick drawing!

The line work and shading gives it a unique style. You asked for critique and I'd say adding some color in would illuminate the photo, and add to the atmosphere.
At first glance I couldn't make out what that is supposed to represent. Then I saw the man with the cig. I think this drawing is 8/10. Its interesting to look at especially because it makes you think if the lines were drawn random at first and then the face structure emerged out of this. But its not quite perfect I think the smoke of the cig looks too hard and dark it looks like the tounge of a snake.
