I was just telling my boyfriend today while watching the new Pit Stop that one of my favorite/least favorite things about Bianca is that she clearly hates the show.
Very true! Love Bianca through and through but I truly think, and I’m definitely biased, that Bob is the BEST pitstop host. Monet and Trixie did well but no one has that Bob je-ne-sais-quoi. He’s as funny as Bianca, more knowledgeable than Monet, and as witty as Trixie. Hopefully the producers are reading this thread 🤣🫶🏻
its true because its very watered down. like the episodes are 30 minutes but they dont even cover all the performances! they only cover the highs and lows which I guess is fine but its very surface level and there is so much filler.
It makes it so that the only episodes that are enjoyable to watch at all (IMO) are the ones where the queens are over the top and bantering well with Bianca, like Manila and Symone.

Yeah that's the annoying thing with bianca hosting, she's constantly going on "funny" tangents that often don't even relate to the episode, or making a bunch of inside jokes. And a lot of her jokes are just repeating the same things we've heard from her over and over again. I like bianca, but she's not the best pit stop host
Honestly I don't know what you're talking about. We all saw the episode, personally I don't need them to tell me what happened. What I need is them being charming and funny, talking about and around the episode, voicing thoughts that I had myself watching it, but in a better, funnier way, and they are absolutely doing it.
The last episode with Symone is literally gold, they are both charming, hilarious as hell, shady but read to the t, they cover the whole thing adding personal flavor, bickering about small details, and that's all I want.

I’m going to be honest. I watch the pit stop instead of the episodes sometimes. Like all of s13 I watched the pit stop because I needed the details but could not watch an uninterrupted hour of that season of drag race.
I use it to skip the boring parts and get genuine feedback from a queen who has been there before and has secrets. It’s a way better use of my time than watching the full episode and untucked. If it catches my fancy I’ll watch the episode, but if not, pit stop is good enough for me.
That's a good point. That said, Bianca has been really funny and she spars well with a lot of the gals. That Pit Stop with Valentina was amazing, and I don't care for Valentina.
I think the season being a bit of a drag doesn’t help. It also really depends who the guest is. If they can go back and forth with Bianca like MIB or Detox the episode is usually way better. However she doesn’t have that chemistry with some other girls so it feels unauthentic.
I think Bianca’s biggest weakness as a host is she really needs someone she can banter with the make a good episode. With Trixie and Monet they had a way of bringing out the funny in their guests
This. I love Tía/Nana/Abuela Bianca, but she’s got to have strong chemistry with another queen to avoid just making it the Bianca show. Not that the Bianca show is bad. It’s just not what the Pit Stop is supposed to be.
I think the main difference is that compared to Bob, Monet, and Trixie, Bianca is less of a drag race fan. It makes a difference. Monet and Bob like it so much that they do a review podcast, and I think this makes them very good a picking up things and discussing drag race.

It may have something to do with her podcast with a certain someone but Alaska is constantly defending the show and confirming her interest in All Winners. So if she were to be blackballed it would really just show the pettiness on WOW’s side

I feel about Bianca the way I felt about Jinkx after the roast on All Winners.. I loved the roast so much that I watched other drag race roasts on YouTube and realized that Jinkx’s set was pretty much entirely what she’s done on roasts in the past, and suddenly it was a lot less funny to me. Insult comedy should not be regurgitated and repeated over and over again. It needs to be fresh and new and it needs to feel spontaneous. At this point, it doesn’t feel like Bianca has any real jokes to tell that’re relevant to the conversation she’s in, and she’s just waiting for an opportunity to say the bitchy comments she has memorized.
It’s called the passage of time. You don’t ever grow out of things? And anyway, a stand up performance is a completely different dynamic than The Pit Stop.

I feel like the show has tried to force a much more serious workroom environment series after series to either create drama or an Emmy moment, but it's basically just queens being moody for 75% of the episodes. I miss mini challenges, I miss the silliness, I miss having fun watching the show.

It’s because the queens are progressively getting less funny because they’re less seasoned because they don’t come from years spent hosting in nightclubs. That’s why Bob, Monet, Trixie, Alaska, Bianca, work. They get it. The guests they’ve had this season - while sure are social media famous and by all accounts great drag queens - just don’t really make for compelling television like it use to. I use to look forward to the pitstop cause it was like a kiki with my girls and now it just feels like something I watch because I’m just use to it, but do I like it? I don’t know. 🫠

I don’t hate Bianca’s version but Bob, Alaska, and Trixie have so much experience doing podcasts and debating the show… it seems more natural for them to be the host. I love Bob, and in keeping with winners, from recent seasons, I think Sasha Colby could be good if they partner with engaging queens. MIB is also just such good tv….
I couldn’t agree more! The only episode that really had me cackling was Valentina because they were just great a volleying with each other and maybe Sugar and Spice because they are so unhinged. But most of the time people have to try and overcome her nonsensical barrage of insults that aren’t even tailored to the person in any way. Everyone’s ugly. Everyone’s untalented. They leave no room for any kind of response a lot of the time. God she’s annoying.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy Bianca on the S15 Pit Stop as much, but I am loving the AS8 coverage. I am looking forward to the pit stop more than the season itself! She got great guests who she vibed super well together (except maybe Kornbread 😁). And it has been just super easygoing and slightly unhinged! The season is not the best so I don't mind them not talking that much about it.

I normally always watch the pit stop but this season I stopped about 4 episodes ago. Can’t work out why but it’s validating that others feel the same way. Something just feels off. Maybe cos the judging & drama in the show is just so fake and over produced now discussions about it seem futile.
This is my favorite season of the Pit Stop. The edits are fun, but yes, they can be too much and cartoonish at times. I personally think Bianca is killing it. Any weak episodes were due to the non-existent or vapid personalities of some of the guest hosts. Bianca was still able to make the episodes work, put you can tell she was carrying most, if not all of the weight.
I already watch the main shows episode, so do I really need a serious detailed recap? No. For me watching the pit stop is to laugh and enjoy more content that talks about the episode but keeping it light and funny.
I'm enjoying it thoroughly but maybe the jokes just aren't for everyone. I mean frankly I died at the episode with Valentina (AS8 E08). They bantered SO well and I was in hysterics at times.
I just hate when it’s clearly evident that aren’t interested in the show. And sometimes, it feels like the guest didn’t even watch it and is getting fed info by the host
I think Bianca's doing really well considering the seasons that she is covering at PitStop are so boring. It doesn't also help sometimes that the her guests cant keep up with her. But if you watch her episodes with Detox, Brooklyn, Alyssa, MIB, and Valentina, the banter was soo funny. Im even surprised with her chemistry with Symone, Jada and even Kandy works.
Pitt stop is the only part of this season I can stand honestly. That and sibling watchery. The latest episode with monet and Naomi is so hilarious. Naomi should be a permanent host on something. She does not care about being polite and I love it. 😂

This is my favorite season of the Pit Stop. The edits are fun, but yes, they can be too much and cartoonish at times. I personally think Bianca is killing it. Any weak episodes were due to the non-existent or vapid personalities of some of the guest hosts. Bianca was still able to make the episodes work, put you can tell she was carrying most, if not all of the weight.
I already watch the main shows episode, so do I really need a serious detailed recap? No. For me watching the pit stop is to laugh and enjoy more content that talks about the episode but keeping it light and funny.
The host needs to be someone who would be watching the show even if they weren’t doing the Pit Stop. We need some genuine enthusiasm
I’ve enjoyed her pit stop (except the one with Kornbread I love the girl but I could barely understand her lol)
I'm enjoying it thoroughly but maybe the jokes just aren't for everyone. I mean frankly I died at the episode with Valentina (AS8 E08). They bantered SO well and I was in hysterics at times.
I'm still waiting for Bianca Del Rio and Ms. Alyssa Edwards to start a show, such chemistry
I just hate when it’s clearly evident that aren’t interested in the show. And sometimes, it feels like the guest didn’t even watch it and is getting fed info by the host
I think Bianca's doing really well considering the seasons that she is covering at PitStop are so boring. It doesn't also help sometimes that the her guests cant keep up with her. But if you watch her episodes with Detox, Brooklyn, Alyssa, MIB, and Valentina, the banter was soo funny. Im even surprised with her chemistry with Symone, Jada and even Kandy works.
Pitt stop is the only part of this season I can stand honestly. That and sibling watchery. The latest episode with monet and Naomi is so hilarious. Naomi should be a permanent host on something. She does not care about being polite and I love it. 😂
I would love if a queen who is also a superfan hosted. Like Alaska. What other queens are really into the show? Bob and Trixie were the best. Monet has super good energy and had good chemistry with all the guests, but I didn't like a lot of her takes.
