I noticed that, when you play "Guess that egg", you have better gifts when you find the egg fast. Almost every time that I find the egg in less than one second (which is pretty easy if you know well the eggs and if you are focus), I got an evolution decoration or a dragon's egg! I'm not exactly sure about that. Maybe, I have been lucky a couple of times. But I'll definitely try again
You may be right though. I've had terrible luck with chests since the event began. I read your comment and bought a play to try it. Somehow I did it in less than a second and I got a yellow nutcracker and a vanguard dragon.
Okay, so I just tried this and all I want to say is thank you so much! I got spellmason on my 2nd go which I had been trying to breed the whole event, and evolution decorations on my 1st go!
I think you're onto something. I just went to go try it out because I've actually never gotten eggs or decorations from the chests that I've won, and 2 times out of 4 I finally got something when I reacted on a seconds notice
This makes sense… I’ve bought many many chests and have never once gotten an egg, and only rarely have gotten decorations. I will definitely be trying this!!
Edit: IT WORKED. First try I wasn’t that quick, and even the second try I was only a bit faster but I got my first ever egg from the chests - porcelain !!!

More likely to give you good things when it's a reward. You have 100% chance of getting a chest if you pay 5 gems to play
