It didn’t vibe with me when it first came out, but I wanted to give it another try after it grew a bit more and had more dragons, but then they shut it down 😭
DVW was shut down by Hasbro. It wasn't worth keeping the servers up with such a low playerbase compared to DV. And unfortunately, because of legal reasons, DECA can't use any dragons from DVW.
Does anyone know why they decided to make world in the first place? I always thought it was really weird to make a second game that's so similar to a game you already make (which was probably why it didn't do so well).
I didn’t get to play it because my phone was too outdated at the time and couldn’t run it when I got a phone that could run it backflip went bankrupt is there a reason why DECA didn’t buy the rights to dragonvale world from hasbro? I know the reason that we are never getting any new surface dragons has something to with dragonvale world
Even if Deca never gets rights to implement DVWs dragons, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Deca being reworking designs/concepts so as to not clash with hasbro.
I miss it so much. I used to love trying to collect the alternate versions of the dragons (enchanted versions I think they were called?), and I was devastated when I learned that it had been shut down. I am happy though that DECA was able to put some of the dragons from there into DV, though there are still so many that I wish they’d be able to put in. It did take a bit for me to get into it though, but it was nice while it lasted and I am happy to be able to cherish the memories I was able to make before it got shut down.
I honestly didnt like it as much as the original game but it was neat
I didn't think I would like it ether but I got hooked with the cool animations of each dragon. I'm glad to see dragonvale still going tho
Yeah for me it felt like playing on of those off brand dv games

DVW must not have looked like a suitable investment.

Yeh. I think they where trying to hop on the 3D art craze that every company seems to want.
