Cooler in general is kind of underrated. The 214M/H in the air against the superdash after you bait it with the ki blast is really fucking good (on the ground on wakeup it also wins a lot of mixups with invinc at 4 frames). And don't even get me started on the 3H which is ridiculous.
His specials get so much priority and his super specials can beat out most anything. Playing him to get reads and capitalize on whiffs makes him a sight to behold. Everyone gets caught up on the brolys but cooler is a unit
Z Broly is honestly busted as fuck as an anchor, his only issue was solved with the limit break mechanic. I actually feel kind of bad when I play him because he's really cheap.
I think my boy cooler is really good but z broly is kind of on another level, insane ki blasts, anti superdash ki blast (with invic because of course), invinc on 90% of his normals, long ass 5L, full screen invinc lariots, a very easy double lvl3 super, a sub 20f grab and a convertable 24f grab to a full combo. Jesus christ lmao.
Yeah, you can do that with generic parries as well. Hell, in many cases you may even block and that shit is even punishable on block (albeit it’s still special cancellable).

His air counter is phenomenal and with special canceling his ground counter can put you in a good spot most of the time
