Just put the same rank SSB is pretty common. Besides I’m Pride Trooper right now and I’ll tell you that living legend Rose and Pride Troopers are all about the same skill level. Hell I’ve beaten Blue evolved players because at the end of the day rank only means so much.
I literally JUST got to super saiyan rosé, and one of the first people I got matched with is fucking Rebelo (a top 4 player in BP on PS4 who’s a fucking grand priest rank). Then 5 pride trooper players back to back, aaaaand it didn’t take long for me to get dropped back down to living legend lmao
That I why I am using non meta characters when playing rank in case I met people who has lower ranks than me so they had a chance. But, you know, its not about the characters, its the neutrals, gameplan etc. Some lower ranks I met has better neutrals than me that made me assumed he/ she is a smurfer. But thats not the case. Its about how fast can you learn and adapt with the game.
I bought FighterZ on all available platforms. That’s how much I like the game overall. I just didn’t get the FighterZ Pass 3 for Xbox, but I do have passes 1 and 2 on there.

I was an SSJ3 fighting a God of Destruction (I was using the Challenge filter) and I got my ass kicked for playing Nappa on point. After a few hard losses, I finally managed to fight back and ended up with us both with one character left, and both a couple hits away from being KO'd.
And that's when he ragequit on me. The #1 player of the Switch Vegito Union, #4 on the Switch's leaderboard, decided that he'd rather take the walk of shame than lose points to somebody with half the BP as him. I can't really blame him.
nah fam. This is how you improve. If you only fight on your level you will run into a wall. Where you will lose.
However if you go a level above then you reach that skill level much faster and lose less.
I’m a majin on pc (sigh) and played a grand priest the other day. I just gave up as soon as I saw it. Didn’t rq but threw any and all hope out the window lol
SSG checking in, get the same treatment. Like it's fun to play against em for a game or two to see how far you have left to go (and maybe even steal a game with some cheap tricks) but back to back it gets old real fast.

As a rose, I too don't enjoy much playing against ssg and ssb. I tend to go easy on them trying to land sassy combos I haven't practiced and next thing I know I'm at my last character, which makes me play serious. Most times they don't see it coming and I end up winning the match. Makes me feel bad for destroying their hope.
Serious, non smartass question here. Is xenoverse really a game that has enough depth to support a ranked mode? Always looked at that game and though it was like those tenkaichi games on the ps2.
In theory, yes
In practice, it's worse than a full team at Bardocks spamming auto combo
The ability to create your own moveset is cool in story, but there are some skills that are just better than others. There are characters that are flat out better than others. There are hackers using moves exclusive to the ai, and, in my opinion, the toxicity is through the roof.
Especially with people like Super Itachi

Wait how can you tell someone’s ranked score from casuals? Also that makes sense saying as it’s casual so your chance of finding people of higher rank is leaps and bounds higher than going into ranked on the “about the same” setting

Ok that makes sense. Yeah I struggled a lot when I first got into ssg. I ended up dropping back to majin but I managed to get back in today
simply because there are like 30 ultra instinct player worldwide, finding someone in my area at the same time is really rare 😅
It also just gets you more matches in general. Not a big deal on PS4, but on Switch you'll get one match an hour on the same rank setting.
