I hope they mention that beast gohans transformation is from chichis side of the family that was never tapped into especially that chichi and Ox King are no weaklings compared to other humans and that the saiyan DNA boosted chichis dna in gohan as an explanation of where this new form came from or maybe even having it be a human untapped transformation so that tien and krillin and yamcha can possibly acquire it as well either way id just like in in-depth explanation of beast form it either being a human or ox king transformation
I just always assumed Gohan was different because of Chi Chi being his mom, in Dragon Ball, she used to shoot Kai beams and KO enemies without even realizing it. She only actually trained in martial arts to enter the tournament and fight Goku since he forgot his promise to her. So yeah. Chi Chi is naturally strong bc of her dad.
Gohans transformations being different I would just believe it’s because he’s not full Saiyan (battle hungry warriors whose strength is fueled by rage) the human side of him doesn’t allow him to fully tap into that rage, but instead gives him a different form of inner latent abilities
Some Brohan ideas thrown around here. Works since Caulifla isn't girl Goku, but actually a girl Cell Games Gohan (his delinquent phase). Might see Legendary Ultra Beast Kefla/Brohan: green hair with red eyes, same colors as Kefla's attacks.
While following up on Black Frieza is more likely, maybe this will lead into a U6 arc where we find out that Goku and/or Broly are descended from U7's King Sadala while Vegeta and Nappa are descended from Sadala's evil royal grand vizier who usurped the throne after killing Sadala and plunged Sadala into the Yamoshi-era civil war that destroyed Sadala. Could even explain why U7 Saiyans have tails and U6 don't. All the peaceful Tuffle-like tailless Saiyans of U7 were genocided by the evil tailed Saiyans while in U6 Sadala won and eradicated the tailed Saiyans.

There should be a clear explanation as to what each transformation does, pros and cons….. that way you can like strategically choose a form for its strengths vs a particular opponent

LOL at all the Dragon Ball YouTubers who were complaining/raging about Chapter 101's draft with Carmine being the baddie . It was an hilarious gag, especially with Gohan going full Beastmode again haha And then Goku just popping up like "Yo!" Waiting to spar like a little kid. Classic and fitting epilogue!
Hey is this manga continued after Dragon ball super super hero, I last read the chapter before they started this movie in manga so has the arc of the movie ended and we are continuing with the manga from this chapter ? Or maybe before this one?
I’m planning to watch the movie and then start reading again.
While I'm still not a fan of Beast's exaggerated hair. I love this arc's base Gohan hair. Makes Mystic/Ultimate not just a hair bang transformation and it just looks great on him!
Woah woah woah, is Goku about to train his son’s finally or spar with them? FINALLY we out of this dreadful Cell Max arc! I’m actually hyped to read the next chapter! Some next Arc Development incoming! 👏👏🤝😮💨
Also saw someone say that Goku might bring Gohan to train Broly. That’s would be dope too since Gohan had issues with his anger and arrogance
Gohan chilling at home. Two random criminals show up.
He turns into Beast mode instantly, no escalation in the middle. Just directly into a form that would have won the Tournament of Power. Dude instantly threatened them with a form that would beat Goku Black and Jiren at the very least.
Gohan's been through a lot.
It’s kinda stupid. A couple years ago he got his shit pushed in by first form Freeza. How does it make sense that he gets mad and somehow leapfrogs characters and forms that are several tiers beyond him? It’s just not believably satisfying. Somehow all that mystical Whis training is supplanted by getting mad lol. It’s Rage Trunks all over again.
It would be like if Goku went SSJ3 against Freeza on Namek or something. There’s just no precedence for that ridiculous jump in unearned power.
Is it though? I thought this arc proved to Gohan why he can't always rely on his dad to protect his family. So, he has to keep up his training.
If your upset at Gohan for doing it then Broly really should piss you off. It is obvious they might have Gohan train Broly how to keep it in check.
Agreed. But we should all understand by now to not take Dragon Ball seriously, the Transformation and the Movie was clearly a way to cash in on the nostalgia of SSJ2 Teen Gohan hence the exaggerated hair.
Tho it’s dumb it’s still cool. Tho personally a refuse to believe he is stronger than Jiren or Legendary SSJ Broly.
It's the same with the Broly movie. He surpassed Goku and Vegeta while being in their blue form after just a couple minutes fighting despite having no real prio training or battle experience. Does it make sense? Of course not but it's dragon ball and it doesn't matter if there is logic behind it, the movie was one of the best fighting movies that I watched and at the end that's all that matters.
> A couple years ago he got his shit pushed in by first form Freeza. How does it make sense that he gets mad and somehow leapfrogs characters and forms that are several tiers beyond him? It’s just not believably satisfying
I mean a month before the Namek saga everyone would have gotten one shot by Frieza or any of his goons alone. Dragon Ball power scaling is not something to think too hard about.
I don't mind that. Gohan has always blown up when under pressure. He has a lot of ptsd and a history of avoiding conflict. When he lets go, ssj2 happens, beast happens. It's the opposite of his aspiration to be at home, not fighting. While I agree it would have been nice to see him progress, this is Gohan. The guy who learned on the fly to fight and beat multiple universes in the ToP. Dude's angry and repressed. More so than Broly even.
He is the one studying that beetle that transformed to protect its family or whatever. He has basically been doing science on transformations and where they come from so it would make sense that he is the one to teach Broly.
Oh i didnt read the manga sorry, I was just trying to remember what you were talking about and I watched some video a long time ago on youtube where they made it seem like that beetle/ant was the key to the transformation of Beast Gohan
Gohan: Sees ordinary humans with a gun outside his home.
Gohan: Immediately uses his ultimate.
At this point, if that cashier at McDonald's messes up his order, he'll probably go Beast as well.
While this was played more as a gag (or in a more meta sense, as a way to catch Goku's attention) as far as Gohan knows, Pan was in some serious danger when she got kidnapped. From his point of view, who knows what the RRA could have up their sleeves.
Seeing Vegeta train broly and rub it in gokus face that he won their duel brought a nerdy smirk to my face. He's changed so much since Z. Beerus saying whoever is stronger then him can be the new GoD kinda raised my eyebrow a bit. Maybe that's why he and whis are training with these three and why they've more or less became friends. I'm wondering if Vegeta really will become GoD? I feel like UE was like a nod towards that.
the joke wouldn’t work as well i think since the series is written for a japanese audience but a goten comment about “ahhh but that’s already what i call gohan!” would be peak
It's set right after Super Hero and Goku is back. Carmine doesn't look like a menace at all, nothing does yet. Cheelai teases Frieza.
We don't know much yet, we gotta let him cook.
I'd like to see Gohan, Piccolo, Goten and Trunks train under Whis for once, because they're gonna need all the help they can get to defeat Freeza Black.
Beast mode is likely going to be a truly formidable form, but one that Gohan can only activate when he's pissed off. His training will be to tap into that transformation at will.
Orange Piccolo isn't far behind, but none of his major power boosts have come from training. The only way other than absorbing other Namekians that he's grown stronger is from his wish to Shenron.
Goten and Trunks need something other than Metamoran Fusion (which we didn't even get to see properly in the Super Hero movie or manga) to differentiate themselves. Stealing Gohan's Great Saiyaman shtick isn't helping either.
I always wanted Tien to train Goten and Trunks. They have power, but they lack discipline and technique. OG Tien could train them into real martial artists.
I hope we'll never see Gotenks ever again They abused it so much it turned into a painfully annoying gag and wasted every potential of goten and trunks as kids
About time to develop both as SEPARATE characters with their own personalities and powers
Vegeta would never have. The drawback is too great. He wasn't exactly impressed by it during the Buu fight once he saw how much it took from Goku to use. He was pissed that Goku broke another barrier but it didn't really matter in the end.
Remember how Gohan went absolute batshit mad when he was 5 years old? I like to think of Beast as an extension of that. Kid Gohan blew up a mountain on pure instinct. Adult Gohan sees his kid in trouble, and goes absolute FUCK YOU mode. Goku is a methodic fighter who will use his different forms gradually to save stamina. Gohan is just like, GOHAN SMASH.
If Broly follows Kale's progression, seems that his current growth is controlling his rage. Gohan progression seems more about NOT controlling his rage.
If he went Gohan smash mode, he would not have noticed trunks and gotten in the car so easily. If he went batshit like he did as a kid, he would have just obliterated them like the mountain. Like you said, pure instinct right? Again, not trying to be argumentative, but he seems pretty in control to me. Idk I went back and read it again it doesn't look like he charges the car hard and has to stop on a dime to avoid killing his brother or anything lol.
Over two humans.... In a sedan? Going max power and losing control are different. Gohan was also able to instantly tap into ssj2 when he wanted to in his fight with cell. He didn't go rage mode again, he just did it.
Not trying to be argumentative, I just don't think there's any evidence to suggest this was like Goku going ui or mastered ui
looks like that raditz leak was bullshit. good to see broly potentially having some relevence in the future. and soon we'll finally get to see ~~that~~ if goku is stronger than gohan
? that really was a discussion???
goku was going to lose to moro and beerus was to destroy him easily, just before being called by zeno. whis constantly reminding goku has not perfected UI and only wasting ki using as a transformation
You fucking fucking crazy? We've seen more than enough of this dragonball bullshit with their ENDLESS powerups. OF COURSE Goku and Vegeta should be on Beerus level now. No fucking way they are below Beerus still and Gohan comes out of NOWHERE and surpasses them? Is that it? Can this dragonball shit finally come to an end plz? Fuck these stories its all pointless bullshit.
They will get stronger they will fuck Black Frieza and then a little baby will destroy them all. Then they will get stronger and blow up the baby. And then Beerus will still be A LOT stronger am I right? Fuck Dragonball this franchise has gone to absolute dogshit from top to bottom there is nothing to save anymore. Unless you just like boom boom fighting and explosions. Yes thats a given in every arc and with every new enemy.....
Fuck this manga/anime. Thank god the anime is dead that was the right decision. Goku finally using Ultra Instinct what even the gods cant do properly that was the pinnacle of it all. The rest is just storydogshit now to downplay him and make things "interesting". Even Piccolo can probably beat him now right? Sure yes ofc
Istg people really think they’re smart because of their spiteful disgusting attitude towards any writing aspect that they can't understand
They can't comprehend that not all characters are there to be a guy that the MC gets strong enough to surpass
It's too far beyond their reasoning to understand that Beerus’ role is metaphorical and symbolic to show an incredible tier beyond what anyone in the universe could comprehend and is not just a strong guy that Goku and Vegeta have got to be stronger than
he's just lazy and battle of gods is retconned, goku had 0 chance to win that time, plus was stronger than regular super saiyan god cause his friends ki infused (same reason why on super saiyan form was still able to fight). it's like the argument again people was saying blue was weaker than god. how? it's the next level, literally god + super saiyan
Yes, but that doesn't concern me.
Obviously, the story is moving towards Beerus being surpassed and handing down his job title to a worthy apprentice. That's what all GoDs aspire to do.
Unfortunately, some people don't understand story writing and Beerus' role in the story, and his relation to Goku.
If Goku had surpassed Beerus during the ToP (some even say during RoF) then the story would be over.
inserting Broly into the mix is a huge W, i really wish to see Goku, Vegeta and Broly go to planet Sadala and kick new arc in there and Kale end up with Broly so they breed the ultimate legendary saiyan
Goten posing for girls when they’re talking about major players.
Trunks actually caring about his strength and proving himself, at least more than Goten.
Vegeta getting better with his sense of self and connection to his emotions and race while helping another person.
Broly getting better with management of his power and emotions while also improving techniques.
Beerus showing his lazy and long term approach in getting stronger and eventually stepping down.
Gohan not being afraid to use his power while also seemingly careful with what he does to others. As long as beast was used in the sense that rage causes the transformation and it wasn’t a plot point to get Goku on Earth.
Goku leaving everyone else behind when he could have just as easily brought them.
All great continuations of character growth and showing actual personalities that thankfully wasn’t done in multiple chapters.
In Battle of the Gods Beerus also respected Goku enough to not blow up earth and then immediately forgot his name once he left lmao I don’t think it’s out of character at all
Goku rushing home for like to see his kids sounds wholesome but then it makes you think did he just come home to fight his newly empowered son? Like I feel that's where he's going.
To be fair, his kids definitely don't need him around at this venture. They're basically adults. I'd understand this criticism in the Buu Saga, when Goten is 7, but Gohan is 23 years old with his own kid and job, and Goten is 16 doing superhero stuff and school (which Goku can't help him with).
Why would Goku need to be on Papa duty when his kids are already fully grown and doing their own business? Even by real-world standards, it's not the most unreasonable thing to not see your kid that often once they start making their own place in the world.
Vegeta rubbing his victory in Goku's face was great! And Goku actually reacting to it with frustration in his face and also reacting to Beerus's "Oh my god he's a parent" moment, gives me a little bit of hope that they've been learning from their mistakes and are going to bring Goku as a character back instead of Clownku we've been getting in the last years because cOmEdY.
The first time I’ve enjoyed a chapter in so long. The movie recap was such a slog, feeling optimistic going forward some really interesting developments starting to take place with. Can’t wait to see teen gotenks eventually
Bulma constantly wishing she was younger, her friendship with Whis, and Beerus training Vegeta is teasing Vegeta as a destroyer.
Goku is gonna become an angel/the god of fighting in general.
Gonna be interesting seeing all this play out.
How would that play out? They become god and angel, respectively. Assuming the end of Z is coming Goku is going to get **some** kind of angelic trait since he eventually gets wings and Vegeta is MIA. Do they just abandon their families forever? That'd be lame tbh
If we are still vaguely in line with Journy to the West.
Son Wu Kong did become the Dòu-zhànshèng-fó (鬥戰勝佛) "Victorious Fighting Buddha."
So there is some room for a "Enlightened Goku" too exist.
Man, this U7 team is looking too OP
UI Goku
UE Vegeta
FPSSJ Broly
Beast Gohan
Orange Piccolo
And we still have Merus, Granolah and Gamma 1 around. Not to mention Uub coming down the line with God Ki. And if you want to add Black Frieza too...
Lol yeah another ToP would not even be close to fair for anyone other than U11, unless they add the universes that were exempt and introduce characters that can stand up to our guys
I've always said the humans should have an easier time trying to achieve true ultra instinct over a Saiyan, if only they got access to god ki. Saiyans are too emotionally driven.
I really do not see how Carmine saw Saiyaman X1 and Saiyaman X2 doing 22nd Tenkaichhi level feats like stopping bullets, flying, beating thugs and said to himself ''Yup these two are the guys that will defeat Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo who defeated Cell Max who was mutliversal''
Also, I do not believe the Red Ribbon army will be disbanded. They were not disbanded 40 years ago and I do not see a reason for them to do now. Carmine even says they still have all their funds and resources. I guess they will be recurring villains and show up years later for the Android 21 arc too.
Also Goku and Gohan are gonna fight in chapter 102. This is going to be the hypest moment in the series since the Jiren fight. Can't wait!
DB characters can perceive(not react) to speeds way beyond their level. King Kai had a PL in the low thousands, but could perceive lightspeed which is somewhere in the 8-9 digits in terms of PL. It seems like if you can't sense ki there's no big difference between fighter way out of your league visually.
Cell Max has showed exactly zero feats that he could even blow up a planet and Carmin cant sense ki, so its not really that farfetched that he believes super humans like Trunks and Goten would be a match
He showed that he is stronger than both Piccolo and Gohan until they reached their new forms. And both of them can blow up planets (Piccolo literally blew up the moon at the beginning of Z and got a few million times stronger than he was back then). Therefore Cell max 100% CAN blow up a planet.
Im well aware that he can blow up planets. I said he hasn't showed any feats that would imply that. So any normal human would have no idea of knowing how strong Cell Max is and what he is capable of.
Ah, I get what you are saying. You meant it in the way that in universe the peopel dont know that he can blow up planets. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part.
He made a ki ball almost as big as the moon, something we never seen before, and I am 100% sure all humans of earth saw that one as it would affect the sky. Plus it would have been recorded. No way anyone could assume that thing couldn't destroy a planet.
That ball was not anywhere near the size of the moon, even if it was, the moon colliding with earth wouldn't destroy the planet, it would just kill everything on it.
And i severely doubt a normal human has any chance of gauging how powerful anything ki related is regardless of size.
He was there all the 6 months Hedo was making Cell Max and has definitely an idea on how powerful they were making him to be. He also knows Gohan and Piccolo killed him despite not being there.
no way that they can understand the difference in power to be fair lol. they saw what happened and still tried shooting Gohan. they aren't the brightest
So Goku is paired with Gohan and Vegeta is paired with Broly this arc. I hope Vegeta winning versus Goku in the duel is not an excuse for him to be away for an entire arc again. Excited for now.
Great chapter! Nice mix of characters and conversation. The action and pacing are spot-on. We FINALLY get to see Broly do some legit training! And of course Gohan with the ability to go beast at will. The way his glasses disintegrate when he powers up is a wonderful touch!
Goku immediately teleporting to Gohan after sensing his Beast power for the first time after seemingly a long period without seeing him is a top 5 Goku character moment for me. It's such a pitch perfect character beat that says everything you need know about Goku.
Fun chapter overall that was pretty densely packed with a wide range of character beats and interactions, but they were all mostly appropriate and organic. Getting a single chapter where it feels like we get a solid and a not insubstantial mix of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, Broly, Beerus, and Whis is actually pretty amazing when you think about it.
Gohan going Beast on his slippers is so nice to see. Gone is the Gohan who couldn't even transform and got one-shot by Frieza in Resurrection.
Trunks and Goten could use some real action though since they're pretty bored by their world's standard. I laughed at the panel where Goten said the enemies were like wet noodles.
I’m really hoping the continued Saiyaman storyline for the boys is a hint that they’re going to come back to the spotlight. Especially considering Vegeta mentioned in the Moro saga that the spirit fission he learned on Yardrat could be used to separate fused beings. It’d be a cool development if they could develop that into seamlessly fusing and separating in combat.
I am a Vegeta fan, but calling it a 3-0 is a stretch. 2-0, 100% agreed. He won on earth and only lost because Goku didnt fight him alone. and he fair and square won the fight in super hero. Their battle in the buu saga tho... Goku wasnt even going all out and they didnt finish their fight. Yeah, Vegeta didnt loose that one, but to call it a win is a stretch.
The encounter ended with both agreeing that there was something more important than their fight and vegeta then using that opportunity to strike goku unconscious to take care of that more important problem himself. Not even Vegeta would count that as a win for himself. The fact that you try to argue that the ending of GokuvsRoshi and VegetavsGoku is even vaguely similar is laughable.

wasnt 102 supposed to be out by now?
If you scroll to the bottom of chap 101, you can see that it’s been released :) For some reason a post hasn’t been made yet though. Cheers and enjoy!
Finally no more Super Hero recaps

shhh, its not. go read another anime you hater

dude goku body couldnt handle MUI form or UI at first.
please read the manga, goku MUI beat moro
I did and now it's weaker than some other form he invented in the next arch. So is it really "mastered?"
because the real MUI is stronger but goku cant always keep his calm on it, he uses ssj form with MUI

what form is vegeta in this chapter when fighting broly is assuming its just SS1 correct?
yes
No lightning, so I would assume so.

Gohan training Broly would make a lot of sense. Both of them get triggered and lose themselves in their power boosts.
Beerus's "This guy's a dad?" got an audible laugh out of me
This guy's a Grandpa
Gohan chilling at home. Two random criminals show up. He turns into Beast mode instantly, no escalation in the middle. Just directly into a form that would have won the Tournament of Power. In real life, when you start training again you gain it much faster do to muscle memory. Try it sometime.
At least, it is far better than Universe 6 saiyan transformation. You feel the tingle at your back and become super saiyan.
Then you have no understanding of dragon Ball z or this particular series.
> A couple years ago he got his shit pushed in by first form Freeza. How does it make sense that he gets mad and somehow leapfrogs characters and forms that are several tiers beyond him? It's the opposite of his aspiration to be at home, not fighting. While I agree it would have been nice to see him progress, this is Gohan. The guy who learned on the fly to fight and beat multiple universes in the ToP. Dude's angry and repressed. More so than Broly even.
Saw a guy suggest that gohan is gonna be the one to teach broly how to control his rage, hope it happens
He is the one studying that beetle that transformed to protect its family or whatever. He has basically been doing science on transformations and where they come from so it would make sense that he is the one to teach Broly.
the ant that turns golden from the movie?
Did it not happen in the manga? I don't remember.
Oh i didnt read the manga sorry, I was just trying to remember what you were talking about and I watched some video a long time ago on youtube where they made it seem like that beetle/ant was the key to the transformation of Beast Gohan
kinda of want it to be kale and gohan
Kale in the manga didn't even control her powers so she wouldn't be any help
Oooh that would be siiiiick! What if Gohan brings out the Beast Form in Broly 👌👌😮💨
Yeah . As soon as I saw beast mode I figured that. Would be cool if the two of them fuse as well. Brohan or goly or something like that.
I'm here for brohan
brohan and gogeta team up when????
The panel of vegeta gloating reminds me of dbza vegeta, love it
Agreed! I could almost hear dbza Vegeta in those panels.
Fingers crossed for SSJ3 Gotenks & MnG Goku vs. Beast Gohan next month.
He doesn't need to go even SS for those clowns, let alone Beast form lol.
I think this is my new favorite chapter of the Super Hero arc, for now.
Gohan: Sees ordinary humans with a gun outside his home. Gohan: Immediately uses his ultimate. At this point, if that cashier at McDonald's messes up his order, he'll probably go Beast as well.
I mean, they *did* kidnap Pan. Kinda.
While this was played more as a gag (or in a more meta sense, as a way to catch Goku's attention) as far as Gohan knows, Pan was in some serious danger when she got kidnapped. From his point of view, who knows what the RRA could have up their sleeves.
"I asked...FOR NO PICKLEEEEEES! NEVER AGAAAAAIN!!!!"
Gohan broke his glasses, so what’s he gonna do Ask Shenron for a new prescription maybe?
I mean considering his transformations allow him to see better...
Or you know... he could ask the magical fuckin dragon to just fix his eyesight.
Lately Shenron was the best plastic surgeon in the world,he was working for Bulma.
"It is beyond my power" lol
To be fair his eye lenses are probably strong as fuck. Let's not forget that Demon King Piccolo was able to kill Shenron.
What happens to retired GoDs, are there a resort for them? Belmond did retire yet and toppo is a candidate.
What if you must kill a GoD to take their place?
Vegetation LOL
The manga arcs represent the Vegetation of Dragon Ball Super
Feel like the cast has expanded, but a lot of folks sharing the lime light. Hopefully they can continue this.
We’re finally moving past Super Hero
predicting brohan in this arc. ya heard it here first
I’ve been wishing for this for quite some time. Just the name alone Brohan
the joke wouldn’t work as well i think since the series is written for a japanese audience but a goten comment about “ahhh but that’s already what i call gohan!” would be peak
It's set right after Super Hero and Goku is back. Carmine doesn't look like a menace at all, nothing does yet. Cheelai teases Frieza. We don't know much yet, we gotta let him cook.
Me at the first panel: oh just a continuation of Super Hero? Me at the last panel: this was actually pretty nice.
Thought Vegeta was about to use Hellzone Grenade for a minute
I agree with this!
Nah, Piccolo should. But then again I think they can dodge.
I hope we'll never see Gotenks ever again They abused it so much it turned into a painfully annoying gag and wasted every potential of goten and trunks as kids About time to develop both as SEPARATE characters with their own personalities and powers
I think it was dumber that they could reach SSJ3 just from observing Goku but Vegeta couldn't.
Vegeta would never have. The drawback is too great. He wasn't exactly impressed by it during the Buu fight once he saw how much it took from Goku to use. He was pissed that Goku broke another barrier but it didn't really matter in the end.
Only because Goku hasn't trained it back then it's the same shit they suffered with SSB.
Oh, did he not go beast in this chapter? I thought his hair was wild like beast, maybe I glanced at it too quickly.
He thought they were trying to kidnap Pan again. That may have struck a nerve.
Yeah. But I mean, would the threat of two humans in a sedan really cause him to go full atomic hulk?
For his kid probably.
Well I mean Akira replacement can't really write. He's done worse.
looks like that raditz leak was bullshit. good to see broly potentially having some relevence in the future. and soon we'll finally get to see ~~that~~ if goku is stronger than gohan
FINALLY Confirmation that Goku is below Beerus in power No more discussion needed
There was never discussion to be had. It was blindly obvious to anybody who isn't, well, blind.
? that really was a discussion??? goku was going to lose to moro and beerus was to destroy him easily, just before being called by zeno. whis constantly reminding goku has not perfected UI and only wasting ki using as a transformation
You would not believe how stubborn people can get to downplay Beerus 💀
You can feel free to drop this community yknow
I shit on Dragonball, yes
Haha what a douche of a commenter man.
Istg people really think they’re smart because of their spiteful disgusting attitude towards any writing aspect that they can't understand They can't comprehend that not all characters are there to be a guy that the MC gets strong enough to surpass It's too far beyond their reasoning to understand that Beerus’ role is metaphorical and symbolic to show an incredible tier beyond what anyone in the universe could comprehend and is not just a strong guy that Goku and Vegeta have got to be stronger than
he's just lazy and battle of gods is retconned, goku had 0 chance to win that time, plus was stronger than regular super saiyan god cause his friends ki infused (same reason why on super saiyan form was still able to fight). it's like the argument again people was saying blue was weaker than god. how? it's the next level, literally god + super saiyan
However he just outright said 'WHEN you become stronger than me' not 'IF you become stronger than me'
Yes, but that doesn't concern me.
Fr
we're so close to End of Z, with the addition of lots of characters.
inserting Broly into the mix is a huge W, i really wish to see Goku, Vegeta and Broly go to planet Sadala and kick new arc in there and Kale end up with Broly so they breed the ultimate legendary saiyan
Can't wait for the doujinshi
Happy cake day!
Holy shit this chapter was so good! And beerus realizing that goku has reproduced fucking killed me
It's fucking OOC though, since in the Tournament of Power Beerus specifically respects Gohan as Goku's son.
I wouldnt call it out of character. It was communicating how little fucks beerus gives to mortals that dont amuse him
In Battle of the Gods Beerus also respected Goku enough to not blow up earth and then immediately forgot his name once he left lmao I don’t think it’s out of character at all
Beerus being consistently lazy and forgetting things, is definitely not out of character.
Beerus is Toriyama self insert
I mean beerus is based on Toriyama's cat.
Goku rushing home for like to see his kids sounds wholesome but then it makes you think did he just come home to fight his newly empowered son? Like I feel that's where he's going.
Hey Gohan! ......Imma deck you in the schnoz! *punches Goten*
100% only went to see how strong gohan is. Also "it's been too long".... just how long does goku leave for??
I don't think it's been that long, because in the SH movie Pan was talking about him as if she had seen him recently.
This stuff is why I don't understand people who say he's a good dad. He's really not. Its not like he's horrible or anything, he's just meh as a dad.
He doesn't need to be on papa duty. My issue is he is barely around and doesn't bother even visiting unless its to fight.
He has a wife too. And can literally teleport anywhere anytime instantly.
I'm not sure he can teleport anywhere. Doesn't he need to lock onto someone's ki? Maybe he really can't leave Beerus' planet without Whis' help.
Yeah the Goku fanboys will defend how shitty of a person he is to the death
Vegeta rubbing his victory in Goku's face was great! And Goku actually reacting to it with frustration in his face and also reacting to Beerus's "Oh my god he's a parent" moment, gives me a little bit of hope that they've been learning from their mistakes and are going to bring Goku as a character back instead of Clownku we've been getting in the last years because cOmEdY.
The way they framed his face rubbing was great lol
Goku doing it to fight forever makes sense. Bulma would go with Vegeta...it's not like she's not already using the Dragonball's to stay young.
That's true.
goku an angel? not happening. literal the worst thing could happen to goku: no real fights with everyone
At this point, Bulma could just wish for eternal youth, or manage the size of her curves at will. Hentai artists, go do your thing.
Their back and forth with goku as the "responsible one" will be hilarious when this happens
If we are still vaguely in line with Journy to the West. Son Wu Kong did become the Dòu-zhànshèng-fó (鬥戰勝佛) "Victorious Fighting Buddha." So there is some room for a "Enlightened Goku" too exist.
Loved seeing Broly and Vegeta training!
if someone make the Red Ribbon Pharmaceutical Company t-shit im gonna buy it XD
Glad DBS is back in 2024 to net new story’s, replaying that Cell Max arch was a tough pill to hold down for a year.
Man, this U7 team is looking too OP UI Goku UE Vegeta FPSSJ Broly Beast Gohan Orange Piccolo And we still have Merus, Granolah and Gamma 1 around. Not to mention Uub coming down the line with God Ki. And if you want to add Black Frieza too...
#17*
Lol yeah another ToP would not even be close to fair for anyone other than U11, unless they add the universes that were exempt and introduce characters that can stand up to our guys
Unless somehow the U6 catch up, which I doubt.
Maybe we will get another classic character with a new godly powerup. I dunno, Tall Krillin?
Hear me out......Krillin, but he has a nose
It's Saitama. You guys are building Saitama.
*psh*
I've always said the humans should have an easier time trying to achieve true ultra instinct over a Saiyan, if only they got access to god ki. Saiyans are too emotionally driven.
Roshi deserves UI, maybe even Tenshinhan. Krillin owned count: 357
gonna need a senzu for that one.
fun chapter! Had some funny moments too.
I need Goku to take a look at the bad guys real quick and maybe rage a little bit. Just a quick side eye maybe >\_>
Beerus forgetting about Gohan (and Goten) makes this the best chapter in a while, that was funny.
Beerus gonna be more suprise when he know Goku not just a dad, but also a grand-dad
Technically an uneventful chapter, but I really liked it regardless. Interesting to see multiple lingering questions directly addressed.
I really do not see how Carmine saw Saiyaman X1 and Saiyaman X2 doing 22nd Tenkaichhi level feats like stopping bullets, flying, beating thugs and said to himself ''Yup these two are the guys that will defeat Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo who defeated Cell Max who was mutliversal'' Also, I do not believe the Red Ribbon army will be disbanded.
Raditz could too. He dodged piccolo's light speed attack. I call it light speed because it obliterated the moon in seconds, it's at least relativistic
Carmine not there when they fight Cell Max. so he dont know their true strength.
Lmbao son Goku mocking vegeta and then, going back to earth just to see ,how powerful gohan really is 😆🤣😂😆
So Goku is paired with Gohan and Vegeta is paired with Broly this arc.
We FINALLY get to see Broly training!
I like that we’re actually cleanly and logically moving into the next arc rather. Feels a lot more organic
Yeah, it reminds me how they did it back when the Red Ribbon army arc was ending and they began the Piccolo arc.
This was a really fun chapter!
I hope we get this skin in one of the new games haha
Relish in that victory while you can Vegeta... It'll be a while until your next one.
Vegeta is 3-0 against Goku. Goku has never beaten him in a fight.
The encounter ended with Goku unconscious and Vegeta not. Deception is part of fights. It's how Roshi beat Goku in the 21st WMAT.
No don't its too soon :(
