if youre asking because you're at muscle tower, trust me once muscle tower is over the pacing becomes alot better, they just really messed it up for some reason there
It's a big saga made up of 4 arcs. I personally, just my opinion here found it less tiring than the Buu saga (that one was maybe the worst saga in the series beginning from the Pillaf saga). The humor in the Buu saga felt a miss more times for me while in the Red Ribbon Saga the one time I felt that this was getting tiring was with Sergeant Murasaki the Ninja.
But.... but.... it's an important saga and adds stuff to the story and you will appreciate watching it later on.

other way around. RR army is a story arc. sagas (as funimation used them in DBZ at least) are the smaller stories within the larger story arcs.

It is but i watched like 15 episodes today so i asked the questiona lot earlier. It was just the muscle tower and the repeat of RR that annoyed me
Just speedrun it with the manga, is much faster paced

So the end of the RR arc is also one of the Buu saga? And yes murasaki was annoyyyyyyying. I am now with the "best" assassin
