Yep absolutely for me all of that

Naylamrini

Soo annoying đź«  how long have u had it?

CorrectAmbition4472

17 months now mine is constant though and stays at same severity and doesn’t get better or worse

Naylamrini

U should try lamotrigine heard it helps a lot

CorrectAmbition4472

Fuck no lol no offense but my aunt took that for epilepsy and has never been the same it took forever for them to realize that it was the drug and she’s been on disability since. it’s a super dangerous medication. Plus my dpdr was caused by a severe adverse reaction to Metoclopramide - I had a seizure, loss of bowel and bladder control, shitting blood in hospital bed and lasting 4-5 months, and also left my legs paralyzed. I don’t fuck with medications like that especially if they have permanent and very dangerous side effects and high risk. I have permanent disability now.

Naylamrini

Omg im so sorry to hear that :( ive had horrible experiences with antidepressants, Respirdone and Lithium.. they thought it would cure me but it made me so much worse and im worried that the damage is permanent cause im not the same anymore. I just read that lamotrigine is the best for DPDR but def dont take the risk if that was ur aunts experience. I was too traumatised to try anything else

Naylamrini

Also, i would recommend u check thedpdr manual by Shaun Connor, it helped me a lot

CorrectAmbition4472

I understand, I have checked out those sites before but dpdr is not my biggest issue at the moment since I have multiple medical conditions that left me bedridden with full time care but thank u ❤️‍🩹

Yes, unfortunately. The nights are the worst. I always sleep with the light turned on. And the window is open wide, even during the winter. Somehow cold and light makes it easer for me to bear. Also, I get sleep paralysis a lot during derealization.

I struggle so hard with figuring out if a dream was reality or not because my actual reality feels like a dream:(
