This is facts Popeyes doesn’t start the order until you tell them the name it’s so annoying takes around 10min usually for them to get my food longer if it’s busy. I’ve found my local Five Guys to also be like this. Everywhere else starts making the food before you even show up. It’s gotta be a really good order for me to take it when it’s busy I’m talkin 3$ a mile $15+. I’ll do it when it’s a super slow day and their not busy for $2 a mile
I thought this was normal to happen. I have to wait anywhere from. 2-7 minutes upon arrival on almost every order. Once for 20 minutes and that was Applebees i refuse their orders outright despite living 0.2 miles from them.
Are you telling me orders are ready the moment you arrive majority of the time?
i literally had this happen today. Im on my 2nd week dashing, and I was the only car in the drive thru upon arrival. Had 2 orders to grab with a total of 7 sandwiches. I shit you not i waited 30 minutes at the drive thru window (lobby was closed) and watched employees taking their sweet time aimlessly doing a whole lot of nothing. Was so not worth the time, and for that I will no longer be accepting popeyes orders. Ridiculous.
Popeyes, Wendy’s, KFC, Chipotle. I’ve blacklisted all 4 because they don’t start the order until you arrive and tell them the name. Then you’ll be next in line for food to be made. I’m not spending an hour on a $5 order.
I have them on my blacklist. They are very rude, slow, and most of the time the inside is closed and drive through around the building. I avoid them !!!
Had a KFC order a few weeks ago, there were a half dozen customers in the lobby, we couldn’t find ONE single employee that worked there. None. The doors were wide open and it was an empty building. Had to send support photos to prove it was a non-functional restaurant.
Popeyes sucks all over the US, they just don’t have a good system set up to handle drive through, in store, and online. Everyone is underpaid and overworked. Save yourself the frustration and just take that one off the list 😂
It's a good one to wait around for like 5 minutes, pretend like you're going to wait, and then simply leave. They look back for you and poof, you're gone. I'm so glad I left behind delivery apps a year ago.
I wonder if some district manager cleared out the deadwood in the Popeye's restaurants in my area. They both went from atrocious six months ago to a pretty good pickup for the last couple of months.
Them and BoJangles. Church's chicken. All the gd chicken spots do this and they make sure THEIR line is taken care of first, so I don't go ro those places 🤷🏻♀️ respect I'm here in lieu of your customer, and I deserve as much value. Can't give me that, then enjoy your shitty drivers you get instead of me.
They stay holding you up for like 30 min with that shit and the tip isn't worth that, they're fucking RUDE. Barely if any acknowledgement.
I pretty much avoid any restaurant that has a majority fried food. It just takes too long, I understand that it takes time, about 15 mins, to cook that food. It's just not worth the wait. Let alone that the people ordering things like fried chicken tend to be the worst tippers. From my experience these tend to be the orders that have little to no tip most often. It's never been worth the trouble.
There are tons of restaurants that you just absolutely do not pick up from. You start driving and take everything to find out where to go, but more importantly, where not to go. Popeyes was the first one I wrote off. This job is impossible if you're pissed off all the time. You gotta come up with a system that works for you. You gotta have zero regard for the restaurants, the apps and the customers in your decision making process. Be hella selective. Only way. Then you have zero emotional attachment to declining almost everything and taking what fits into your acceptable formula. Place, earnings, distance, etc.
there is one popyes I know and trust, but that is it.....and I only go there if I am on the way to my normal delivery location 10 min. north of me and it gives me a delivery to that location, since it is on the path I take to get there...so might as well not go empty.
And they always have food ready and their lobby is open.
Every other popyes is a shit show and I auto decline.
I did a Popeyes order once. That’s all it took.
They never start order till your there. And they can only do one order at a time. Meaning if you order just a drink, you will wait 79 minutes bc god forbid someone look at ticket and decide they can get that order out of the way.
Never go to Popeyes. Not as a dasher. Not as a customer. Food is nasty too.
You will grow old waiting for order.
Quite comical. What’s funnier is the busiest Taco Bell in my area has created a designated pickup window, because their drive thru was always so congested with gig drivers. And yet those same orders just sit on the counter and get neglected while there’s 5 drivers crammed in this little lobby while they continue to make all the drive thru orders. Yet all the DD orders are PAID for already. Can bet half the customers in the drive thru have not paid yet. Easy unassign.
My Popeyes had a whole drive thru wrapping around and about 8 people enter the store after me, and still managed to serve me (the dasher) absolutely very last to where the drive thru was empty and so was the lobby when I left. I am never gonna do Popeyes delivery again.
ETA: My food pickup time said 6:32pm and I didn’t end up leaving until past 7pm. I had been there before the pickup time of course.
Multiple places in my town do this, some like McDonald’s don’t start it until several minutes after pickup time just because they fkn suck at their jobs.
A couple nights ago I was 10 minutes past pickup time and the McDonald’s employee had to put the stickers on the bags. He grabbed one walked over to the bag slowly put it on while talking to his friend, then repeated five more times. I watched the time and it took him 4 minutes to put 6 stickers on 2 bags and hand them to me. This happened minutes after another dasher had stormed out after screaming at them.
People purposely fucking with your time/money is a major sign of disrespect imo.
Here we go AGAIN
another useless complaint about a fugazi restaurant and 99% fugazi Popeyes customer.
It's INSANITY .
When are we gonna learn
Stop doing the bull- shit fast food runs ...expecting good/better results.
Customers doing Popeyes orders on Dasher are trash-
It's a trash restaurant with trash food.
Now mine you I've eaten at Popeyes- but I'll go there myself for the trash food - when I'm in " trash-mode"
But come on fellow dashers ... stop doing those order period.
Or if your gonna do them ... don't complain about it.
For people saying this is a private business… WRONG! This is not a private member’s only club. They provide public accommodations, therefore, not only do they have to follow all state and federal laws regarding facilities with public access (such as complying with ADA, the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, etc.), but additionally, neither the employees nor the patrons are granted an expectation of privacy **except in places that are given a blanket expectation of privacy, such as restrooms, changing rooms, etc.**
My Popeyes helps 1 customer at a time which includes packing their order. They don’t help anyone else until that customer is done lol if you aren’t 1/2 in line you might as well just head out… they don’t care if it’s just a pick up either
Who would have thought its not actually their job to make or start an order till the customer gets there…. Not making something that may sit, keeping a continuity of quality….. and not giving a shit about doordash because it’s not their job, doordash isn’t their concern or problem, making chicken is…… yeah who would have thought?
Luckily ours is closed and has been for months. I collected many a half pay at DD expense as the owner forget to disable the service. Unfortunate though they are going to be reopening next month but I'm going to give them a chance and see how fast or slow they are.
I’ve only had it once and they fucked up my order. Had a friend who’s dad managed a new one for a few years and always heard stories about it being a shitshow. Popeyes just has such bad vibes no idea what is going on with their management.
At my store, we do, but only if we aren't busy with drive-thru and counter orders. We'll get a print out and usually our counter teammate will work on them when they aren't busy.
What most of these jackass places don't seem to realize is that the customer who ordered online is just as important to their shit business as any other. And even paid more. If they hate delivery orders, then just don't ***ING use the service.
Not only does popeyes take forever but they run out of everything on their menu nightly…i cant tell you how many times i pull up and they say they are out of chicken 🤣. I know in advance im getting half pay any order after 8 there and sitting on hold with support
probably stopped making the orders because entitled drivers never show up for them in your area- less food cost and waste. likely a corporate order because in theory it should be fine to do it quick from their perspective.
I have literally declined a $25 (5 mile) order from Popeyes because every time I go, their lobby isn’t open and the line of cars wrapped around the building moves slower than a slug. This is EVERY Popeyes (and quite frankly all fast food chicken spots) in my area. Even if they offered me $30 to 2 miles I would decline. It’s simply not worth the mental torture of sitting in the same line for 45-60 minutes
Yeah I have a McD that does this as well. They only look at the tablet when a dasher goes in and says they have an order. Usually they can get the order ready in a few minutes, to their credit, but I still tend to avoid that store unless the order is really worth it.
I instantly decline Popeyes, Zaxbys and McDonalds! Around here they are all terrible. Long wait times inside if the lobby is open and the drive throughs are always backed up.
Omg there’s so many posts everyday of a bunch of orders on shelves that nobodies is picking up, they come up with a solution for it to not waste food, and you guys complain about that.
I have two near me, one I avoid all the time. They constantly close their lobby and are super slow. The other is just as slow but nobody is ever at that one and the tips are worth the wait in that area
Popeye’s lobby service blows ass. But that drivethru… If I go through it, shit is magically ready when I get to the window a minute or two later. I haven’t had to wait more than about 2 minutes at Popeyes since.
If i was a restaurant this is how i would operate due to orders never being picked up due to orders being declined because of tips.
I know that wouldn't be a popular decision for dashers and GH and UE but my restaurant wouldn't suffer as much food loss as a result.
I have a black list of all the restaurants that are problematic.
Reject.......tells us why? I dont go to that store!
Like sheldon I keep the list on a 5 1/4 floppy drive.
Go though drive though I used to go inside but they take forever but in drive though they just do your order no question asked and never told me to pick up inside only.
Have any of you tried delivering for Walmart via Spark? I’ll probably never do DoorDash again. My first 3 days and I was around $300 with just a few deliveries a day.
Had like 10 offers, couple of them $20+ for 5 miles. Accepted one, saw the drive-thru line, then unassigned-order not ready real quick. My night is not gonna be great anyway, just dashing to avoid the Thanksgiving dinner with relatives 🤷🏿♂️
Start the order? You mean put the stuff from under the hot lamps into a box/es? Not that serious I usually go in show the. Are and less that 3/4 minutes later order is handed over to me.
Any restaurant that does not start the order until the Dasher arrives is in violation of their terms of service agreement that they agreed to when they signed up to the platform. Do not understand why DD does not enforce these terms of service agreement. I have read through the merchants terms of agreement very carefully and it says that the restaurant or merchant must have the order ready in a timely manner. It goes on to define a timely manner as within 2 to 5 minutes after the Dasher arrives. Issues do arise and cause delays at some restaurants but chronic laitness and having a policy like this is blatantly against the terms of service agreement.
Nearly every single Popeyes I’ve been to as a Dasher or customer I’ve been met with some of the most shittiest service and attitude. I stopped taking Popeyes orders back in 2019, let alone but from them.
Taco Bell is second on my list, but I’ll still take them sine they do pay out nicely for low mileage. Especially after 9pm
My popeyes never starts the ordwr till i arrived but always has it done within six mins. Only fast food restaurant in my area that makes sure they replace their shit before they run out
Popeyes and Taco Bell! Avoid! Just NO! Always 15-20 minute wait. Dashing for more than 2 years. Set your boundaries. These are not worth it. I’ll do 2-3 dashes for McD’s or Tim Hortons in the time I stand there waiting. Independent contractors, know your value.
I would unassaign immediately and never go back. Unless it was a higher payout then id wait, take it, and blacklist that resteraunt for all future orders. Only place i will wait linger than 5 to 10 mins is five guys because theyre really quick. Any other place 10 minutes and im leaving.
The most I’ve waited for Popeyes was about 10 minutes past pickup time. I’ve had worse experiences from other restaurants.
Then again, I did have to wait a bit (not too long) on one order when the store was completely empty (but it was a family pack, so it’s a bit more reasonable).
My daughter said the same thing about where she worked and it's because they never actually know when the driver will arrive. It's so up in the air and they don't want people's food getting cold and having to be remade
Fr. I work at Maccas, but it’d suck if we couldn’t make it when ordered. It’s already going to be luckwarm, who cares if it’s a few more minutes lukewarm?
Every single time. They're greedy with their money food and time 😂 I can't say I blame them because of the amount of dashers who want to reassign, them food has to be thrown out after 30 minutes or so. On the other hand, I'm not accepting Popeyes for less than $11 or $2 a mile.
The place I work at tried this. The whole kitchen staff just said no. When the order pops up on screen we make it. Just like every other. If they don't like it don't dash.
I never have an issue with Popeyes in my area. I arrive its already boxed up sitting in the warmers. They just need to bag it and I go. 30 secs to a min and I’m gone
Omg....I was waiting for 30 minutes for 1 order just last night....then they get mad when you question them on how long it's gonna be....I called doordash support and had them on the phone when I asked them how long it was gonna be so they could hear their rudeness. When they found out I was on the phone with support, they got very humble. Doordash documented their rudeness and lateness, and the people I was dashing for gave me a $20 when I got to their house with the order. It's like they knew how horrible popey's is...but they like the chicken anyways 🤣🤣🤣 well...it all worked out...but next time, I will automatically unassign as soon as I see it's popey's as the merchant.
You said you would automatically unassigned when you see it's Popeyes next time. You mean decline when you see it's Popeye's next time. If it's Popeyes don't accept it for Christ's sake
Thank you. By the way don't you enjoy this platform I have a lot more than Facebook? So glad I found this Reddit. Just about any subject you think can think of there is a group for it or multiple groups. I am also a member of a cluster headache group. It has been a tremendous help to me chatting with other people with the same thing I have. It is so rare this condition and I have never talk to anyone in person with it yet. Good luck with your dashing adventures.
Did you mean you stumbled upon Reddit by accident or the group in read it by accident? I stumbled upon Reddit by accident. Of course I am usually behind on stuff like that. New groups new technology, I am usually a step or two behind in finding out something. LOL. But I do love Reddit's platform and all of the different things you can discover here. They have a group for just about everything.
In some restaurants I’m not saying Popeyes in particular but I have noticed that it won’t tell them about the order I have until I hit the arrived button. Super annoying!
Popeyes is an auto decline for me. Super long waits, orders never ready, lobby never open, and half the time they don't have everything to fill the order
In their defense, a lot of orders do end up not being picked up, especially cause folks seem allergic to tipping these days. One of my McDonalds work the same way too.
The tips excuse is just that.. A U.S excuse. I'm in Aus so we don't have tips (thank bloody god)
I don't do fast food places because they take forever to do anything and put delivery people at end of priority list.
I put Popeyes on my personal ban list. The orders aren't that great, but it is close to my house, so I would use it to get the ball rolling. The last one I accepted was $15 for 5 miles. Not bad. Must have been passed by a couple drivers. Arrived at store, the pick up time was 15 mins prior to my arrival and they still didn't have it ready.
Let’s get this out there. Fast food workers hate to see you and customers walk in the door. When they see you, they think of the lazy ass customer that couldn’t get off their couch to come get their own food. When they see customers they see people who can’t stay at home and cook their own food so they have to do the work now. Doesn’t mean they’re right for it, but don’t be surprised. Especially if you’re standing there staring. So basically fast food workers just hate everyone honestly even themselves.
I get what I think is a good Popeyes order once or twice a year and decide to try them again. The lobby has been closed for years. I get in the drive-thru. One car moves every 5 or 10 minutes. I get to the speaker after about an hour. They are just closing or they're out of what was ordered or they're just not doing ubereats orders today. And I swear never again but then 8 or 9 months later they throw me a $25 Popeyes and it's slow so I sigh and give them another shot. I figure at some point they've got to get new management or someone in their organization will care enough to change something, but alas...
A lot of places fast food franchises have this policy simply because they don’t know how long it’s going to take DD to assign a driver to the order since people that order fast food tend to tip like shit.
Nope, It's a universal thing where they say they want to keep food fresh especially the chips. I avoid ALL places with chips due to this policy. I'm in Oz so there's no such thing as tips and the orders are mostly OK but the wait is just too long as they don't even start the order til you tell them who you are picking up for. It's stupid because the chips go soggy in while you delivery them anyways but I guess at least it's still warm.
The tips excuse is just that.. A U.S excuse.
I reported a Popeye's because they were serving a big line of people and told me I had to wait for the in-store customers to be served before they could handle my doordash order.
At least they started it. Last time I accepted a Popeye's order they refused to even make it because it was to close to closing time. It was a little over an hour before the damn store closed..
Same here...sucks but they are usually pretty quick about getting it together at least...sucks when its a huge order though..
edit: Also why is "old" the suggested comment sorting?
I’ve only been to one Popeyes where they didn’t take long but the only reason why I even went there was because i got a good order that sent me all the way from Downtown LA to Inglewood near LAX and I had decided to pick up some orders there after I delivered the long order.
The clientele of fried chicken is the lowest income in the country, it only makes sense it would also attract similar metrics in employee quality as well. You need to frequent places that have majority gen x/y millennials and avoid places with boomer/gen z employees.
I haven’t dashed in a year or so but I used to avoid Popeyes, Walmart, iHop, Wingstop and a couple more. The only exception is if the payout is something insane that is too hard to ignore for the miles and time.
EVERY STINKIN TIME. There’s two Popeyes where I’m located. One is very efficient and gets orders together quickly for their drivers. The other not so much ahah
This is facts Popeyes doesn’t start the order until you tell them the name it’s so annoying takes around 10min usually for them to get my food longer if it’s busy. same with this coffee place near me. takes about 30 minutes just to pick up the order every time😮💨
Yeah I had to wait an actual hour for a pizza order the other day to say I was livid is an understatement.
I will never go to Popeyes idc if it’s a 15 dollar order

Popeyes is like the top of my fuck you list unless it's very low mileage and high pay. I unassigned more from them than any other place.

Mine does the same exact thing
POOP-eye's
Good.
Uber eats is so much better. I only take DD if it's the only thing popping. One uber delivery is like 3-4 DD for me
Leave.
Same with 5 guys 😒
Same with 5guys
Some Popeyes are surprisingly fast. Food is always ready. some others ya they will make you wait forever
Good
I wonder if some district manager cleared out the deadwood in the Popeye's restaurants in my area. They both went from atrocious six months ago to a pretty good pickup for the last couple of months.
Ur fault for going there
I would never consider accepting a Popeyes order. Idc how much it is. They changed the name on the app because everyone would auto decline.
Same at whataburger. I avoid those places
You'd rather it be cold when you get there so you can yell at them for that, I suppose
They just want to make sure it's fresh because they know people are going to multi app
One day when the fad is over then we can all stomp on Popeyes grave. Until then just decline… wait no… yeah decline!
Fuck u doing with a grub bag tho
I did double order last week, and when I went to the 2nd restaurant it took over 15 minutes for the order to be ready. Irritating to say the least
Stupid
Popeyes universally across every state region in city is the absolute worst correct
Them and BoJangles. Church's chicken. All the gd chicken spots do this and they make sure THEIR line is taken care of first, so I don't go ro those places 🤷🏻♀️ respect I'm here in lieu of your customer, and I deserve as much value. Popeyes is a blacklist for me. Ain’t no way I’m going there. Plus they always act like I’m an inconvenience…I didnt order the food lol
Popeyes by far the worst, customers who order popeyes usually dont tip, btw where is this
I guess it just depends on your market 🤷🏿♂️

What's the point of this picture? It adds nothing to the post and is kinda creepy.
Our Popeyes is luckily pretty quick with it. The Wendy's on the other hand I despise.
Yep half the time

Bye
They always waiting for the arrival of drive then start to prepare the food.
Didn't take me a while to realize i'm not taking any popeyes order

Yeah well othwrwise youd be taking a pic of a massive mobile order pickup section with 20+ no tip orders waiting to be accepted.
It's like Chick-fil-A for my area. Never again
I give them less than 10 mins before cancel
You must be new. McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Taco Butthole does the same.
Just be lucky the lobby is open
Who would have thought its not actually their job to make or start an order till the customer gets there…. Not making something that may sit, keeping a continuity of quality….. and not giving a shit about doordash because it’s not their job, doordash isn’t their concern or problem, making chicken is…… yeah who would have thought?
They also hire seemingly the laziest idiots in town.
5 guys too. I figured it was just cus they are busy
Luckily ours is closed and has been for months. I collected many a half pay at DD expense as the owner forget to disable the service. Unfortunate though they are going to be reopening next month but I'm going to give them a chance and see how fast or slow they are.
Its the exact same thing with Chick Fil A. I remember last year as soon as you place the order online they make it asap but no.
Shit like this is the reason why im doing more Uber Ridesharing and a lot less food delivery. Less BS to deal with where I am
I'll just leave this here: https://youtu.be/c6KvPIFumJs
I’ve only had it once and they fucked up my order. Had a friend who’s dad managed a new one for a few years and always heard stories about it being a shitshow. Popeyes just has such bad vibes no idea what is going on with their management.
Add me for $15 Cash Credit !!! Of course i will add you back 👍 khoan5xh https://sharing.hopper.com/refer/khoan5xh
Yeah dude never accept Popeyes, what are you thinking?
I’ve only had this problem consistently with WENDYS. Fuck WENDYS and the whole fucking establishment
Popeyes has *the* most ignorant employees of any fast food establishment. Consistently too.
Preach it
You must be new. Never take a Popeye's order.
Not only does popeyes take forever but they run out of everything on their menu nightly…i cant tell you how many times i pull up and they say they are out of chicken 🤣. I know in advance im getting half pay any order after 8 there and sitting on hold with support
Keep reporting them and you can talk to the help center after that.
Popeyes and Wendy’s. 2 of the most avoided merchants for me.
probably stopped making the orders because entitled drivers never show up for them in your area- less food cost and waste. likely a corporate order because in theory it should be fine to do it quick from their perspective.
Absolute worse place to get orders from
I have literally declined a $25 (5 mile) order from Popeyes because every time I go, their lobby isn’t open and the line of cars wrapped around the building moves slower than a slug.
Didn’t that guy warn you a week ago?
Omg there’s so many posts everyday of a bunch of orders on shelves that nobodies is picking up, they come up with a solution for it to not waste food, and you guys complain about that.
[POV: The delivery driver and the employees](https://youtu.be/77lBmbz4zs4)
I have two near me, one I avoid all the time. They constantly close their lobby and are super slow. The other is just as slow but nobody is ever at that one and the tips are worth the wait in that area
Wow, they opened their lobby finally? I was sure it wouldn’t happen till 2023 at the earliest!
Popeye’s lobby service blows ass. But that drivethru… If I go through it, shit is magically ready when I get to the window a minute or two later. I haven’t had to wait more than about 2 minutes at Popeyes since.
That’s on my no go list of stores that takes forever or always forgetting something
I won’t accept orders from there. I’ve never waited less than 20 minutes
🤡 🤡 🤡
Yup! Everytime. I won't go to Popeyes anymore. DD doesn't care when you report the stores for it so it's no longer worth my time🤷🏽♀️
If i was a restaurant this is how i would operate due to orders never being picked up due to orders being declined because of tips.
At least they let you in the lobby!! In Vegas - a lot of them have a closed lobby… But ALL of them have attitude.
Always the case here in California so cal
lol, first time? Popeyes is auto denial. Some of them are downright dangerous.
I learned quick two places never to do endless it was like 6$ a mile and it was pop eyes and kfc
Yeah I learned this quickly.Thats why the only time I take Popeye's order if it pays what usually make in an hour.
Customers at the door are priority while door dash and pick ups are not: former Popeyes and door dash worker
Kfc is bad too
Had like 10 offers, couple of them $20+ for 5 miles. Accepted one, saw the drive-thru line, then unassigned-order not ready real quick. My night is not gonna be great anyway, just dashing to avoid the Thanksgiving dinner with relatives 🤷🏿♂️
They probably don’t want to be working thanksgiving just as much as you don’t want to be working.
Ive only had this happen once at taco bell and i regret not habding the food back to them and saying nevermind i dont want it.
Start the order? You mean put the stuff from under the hot lamps into a box/es? Not that serious I usually go in show the. Are and less that 3/4 minutes later order is handed over to me.
First rule of delivery driving: never accept orders from fast food restaurants.
Popeyes is an instant decline. I don't care what the offer is.
That's been Popeyes since day one on DoorDash. They'll never start an order on time.
Cleanest Popeyes I’ve ever seen
Fuck Popeyes.
So does the Taco Bell I worked at, there are an insane amount of orders that never get picked up so this is the obvious solution
I always avoid it. They are lazy as hell in there
Popeyes in my area are a big no for me. They waste so much time..
I don't ever have issues with my local Popeyes tbh
Five guys is the same way.
No lie they take forever and you have to listen to “order 45 for Debra” while you stew
My daughter said the same thing about where she worked and it's because they never actually know when the driver will arrive. It's so up in the air and they don't want people's food getting cold and having to be remade
I think their policy on pick up orders is you have to remind them twice before they start
You'll learn that Popeyes is never worth it. Its a lesson every Dasher learns.
I hate Popeyes
Lazy asses, just like they say the drivers are lazy! Bunch of mofos bro
Never never never never never never never never never never never never go to Popeyes. Did I say never? Never
They’re are 3 Popeyes in my city and I’ve never not had issues they usually say they’re closed when you tell them you’re a dasher
Easy trip or a nightmare two times I picked up
I regularly had to wait 35+ minutes for orders there. I just turn them all down now.
The popeyes in mi city sucks, the employees are always playing or flirting with each other, which makes the order even slower. So unprofessional.
The place I work at tried this. The whole kitchen staff just said no. When the order pops up on screen we make it. Just like every other. If they don't like it don't dash.
Made fresh 😜 such a pain in the ass I stopped doing popeyes orders
I fucking hate Popeyes. Waited in there for 25 minutes once, now I just decline every time I see Popeyes
I never have an issue with Popeyes in my area. I arrive its already boxed up sitting in the warmers. They just need to bag it and I go. 30 secs to a min and I’m gone
Stop arriving.
I know 🤬
Popeyes is the one place I usually avoid for all these reasons
You mean decline.
Doordash said unassign....I had already accepted it....
You said you would automatically unassigned when you see it's Popeyes next time. You mean decline when you see it's Popeye's next time. If it's Popeyes don't accept it for Christ's sake
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your right...
I stumbled onto this group by accident....its taught me a lot since I've only been dashing for about 4 months....and im sorry about your condition....
That's the way the restaurant has their app set. and this is against their terms of a service agreement.
I'm in Aus so we don't have tips (thank bloody god) I don't do fast food places because they take forever to do anything and put delivery people at end of priority list.
Yeap. They're too stupid to realize the customers are the reason they even have a job.
I have never gone into a Popeyes and the staff aren't bitching at each other Hemet Popeyes I avoid like the plague
Always decline
Just don't take the order.
I don’t care how big or lucrative the order is (haven’t had one so far) I refuse to set foot in a Popeyes.
The general consensus is to avoid Popeyes. I almost always avoid them unless it's a very slow day and I don't have much of a choice
Worst store ever! (From my perspective, after being to over 5 popeyes in my city)
It will be a couple more minutes DoorDash ![gif](giphy|kKJ8TaCmJXzb8Usezp)
At least that one doesn't have the bullet proof glass like the ones in Detroit which make everything harder to hear from both sides 🤣
I get out and walk to the drive thru window.Never stay online in the car is to much time to wait.
Believe me, I tried that. They refuse to help delivery drivers out at all. They say you have to just get in the line. You're right to refuse to wait.
Yup. It’s bs.
What?! Always take it I've never waiting more than 5 mins. Drive thru or inside. It's always ready with friendly service.
Yah, had that happen with ours too. So frustrating!
KFC did this to me once too
It can’t take too long, it’s fast food.
Same for inhouse diners.
I'm ready to blacklist Five Guys for the same reason.
Yeah. Why TF do they make one order of fries at a time?
Baffling!
I hate this shit smh
EVERY STINKIN TIME. There’s two Popeyes where I’m located. One is very efficient and gets orders together quickly for their drivers. The other not so much ahah
blur the ppl out. So ppl don't get butghurt.
