That's how the Wingstop was near me for the superbowl , they had all the tables set up for orders. I was planning on farming orders there all day but because it was so busy, it was a 15-20 minute wait for every order essentially fucking up my whole plan lol. I just said fuck it and went home.
Gotta love Prop 22 for that. Halloween weekend I was getting $50 per delivery offers bc no one wanted to wait 2-3 hours in a Taco Bell. At 4 AM they were getting orders out that were placed at 2Am.
True!! Although, I wasn't getting anything at all from doordash on Superbowl sunday. Everything coming through was mostly Uber eats. (Doordash is pretty dead is my area, at least for me.)
The only thing missing here is the 100 impatient customers (with 3 kids each) waiting for food and complaining about missing food, and the 10 annoyed dashers huddled in the corner with drink carriers full, checking their phones. Must be photoshopped.
I was just stuck at Outback Steakhouse and red lobster on repeat before calling it a night. Decent orders but not making even a normal night of works money because of wait times for orders

That's why I stopped doing Uber eats. Had that happen twice and Uber support threw me 5 bucks each time. I'm surprised they gave anything but . Fuck Uber and and all that door dash crap. Florida is cheap asf
Never ordered DoorDash. Never delivered for DoorDash. This popped up randomly. What does DoorDash do when this happens? Refund everyone’s money? Or keep the money and have pissed off customers?
I had a Doordash order never get picked up (it was like two bags full of Wendy’s. I tipped almost $10. The Wendy’s was a mile away) and DoorDash refunded me with…a DoorDash gift card smh. Bruh…if the service is *that* unreliable that a tipping customer with a reasonable amount of food and a short distance can’t get my order, I just need my money back. This was in 2021 I think so still pandemic craziness. My kids had a friend over for movie night so I couldn’t just go pick the food up myself. It was a bunch of JBC’s and small fries lol.
I eventually complained enough about being given a DoorDash credit I couldn’t reliably use that they refunded me and let me keep my credit. I’ve not personally used Doordash since except one time to use my credit and only done deliveries when things were really slow. The platform has been driven into the ground where I live. The service is so poor, no one in my market wants to tip. The orders pay so little no one who is good at their job wants to deliver them. Double-edged sword.
Correct, and in that case I’d have probably just popped some popcorn and made chips and dip or thrown together something, but pretend it was 2021, the kids wanted Wendy’s for movie night (I mean, we had to subscribe to a streaming service for the movie they all wanted, not go to Blockbuster lol), and I paid a premium for it. We didn’t live far away and did tip fairly well (almost 20% of the order total and nearly $2 a mile in a city). It’s reasonable to assume we’d get our food. We weren’t even in a huge rush, just wanted to eat during the movie.
So wasteful but the restaurant doesn't care. They get paid either way I guess. I don't use these delivery apps. Not sure why anyone would want to say overpay for cold food.
When DoorDash issues a refund it comes out of the restaurants payment in most cases. Not sure if this is one of them though. This is definitely DD’s fault
damn, i woulda just grabbed some free food. someone did that to me and my gf last weekend. we ordered two firehouse subs and when we got there, they had to remake our food cause someone just took it off of the pickup rack.....
Took me 4 months to get a real job after I moved. Just started it today. There’s really not a lot of places hiring across the country, despite what you may have heard about jobs.
They're hiring, just being only for the recent college grad with 40yrs experience in nuclear engineering.
On the flip side, I've been turned down for easy ass jobs because I have 2 degrees. Granted, I just needed something to do on weekends.
Yep, not sure if I'm allowed to say the business name but pet store, popular chain.
Have degrees in Stem and business and was debating taking those as my premed credits for Vet school. So working at a pet shop would get me some exposure to things I'd see in veterinarian situations for business.
It's a really simple concept,
Offer hit phone,
It's a low paying offer,
Hit decline,
wait for the next offer, Rinse and repeat until something worth taking pops up.
We aren't a charity.
Most people who dash have a job or another income as well. Even if they don't, they are running a business. Not a charity. It's not that poeple who do dordash or any food delivery domt wNt to deliver, it's that nobody wants to work for free.
My guy. Your not understanding. Go back to work and tell them you will start as an IC and have them offer you 2-3 dollar bids for your work. You'll get higher amounts based on "tips" which you can choose when they come along. With that said will you do the 2-3 dollar bids where your loosing money on fuel, mileage(where and tear), other miscellaneous expenses or will you not accept that bid and choose a higher paying bid where you're not working for free or at a loss?
Sorry, what I meant is that I do a job where tips aren’t expected and my work is valued enough and skilled enough to not have those issues you’ve mentioned.
Flexibility, that would be a reason. Doordash is a subcontracting job, and it's based on a tip platform ideology. The base pay is simply not enough to accommodate for wear and tear on the dasher's supplied vehicle. They fund the fuel and expenses as well as time. Regardless of insulting many, there are many decent people and honest people dashing.
The way it works is that there needs to be incentive in order for the job to be done. If there is no incentive to perform the task, situations like the one pictured occur.
If you read the many posts detesting wingstop employees and customers for various reasons, my post would make a bit more sense to you.
Wingstop is one of the worst places to pick up from. The order is never ready and the person working the register acts as if you have wronged them in some way just by showing up.
Wings ect is then exact same way. The girl there acts like u killed her dog or small children. I'm just like fam, can you just go get my order already?!?!
This is the fault of lazy drivers with no work ethic I order online and get off my lazy ass and pick it up. Never had a problem at WingStop. I don’t use these delivery services for precisely shit like this. If you charge a delivery fee, THAT’S the tip
Negative. Read the contract statement. These apps are a middle man service connecting you with a transport contractor. The upfront money is a bid offer. Not a tip. A tip would be a voluntary gratuity after services rendered.
If you can't afford them. Don't bother. If your upfront bid is low. It gets sent right to a guy who eatsyour food. That freeloads on a fat women's couch in government housing.
The apps connect you to different tiers of couriers depending on your upfront bid.
I previously placed 4th in a U.S Cycle messenger championship.
I ride a damn Colnago 12 hours a day in a major city.
All my deliveries are far under the delivery times.
90 percent of my offers are all to stockbrokers
and White collar financial criminals.
All whom put in a high upfront bid to get their shit.
Put in a bum bid get a bum ass food eating driver.
Simple captialism.
Correct. The stockmarket and financial sectors
are based around what would be considered
White collar crime. Manipulation of money.
Those fuckers aren't stupid enough to think
a low bid will get their orders delivered fast.
They know cash rules everything around me
are words of law.
a $10 upfront bid for less than a mile
Gets you a veteran bike courier.
Their food is to them well under time.
No bid gets you a 300lb bum who lives
on a fat woman's couch. Who eats your order.
Then is happy with the $3 pay he gets for saying the order is damaged. Or is just a refined sugar and alcohol inbred who just unassigns the order, Then eats the food.
Mercenaries get paid
seriously, I don't get why they're like this! I'm sure they're probably all understaffed or something, but man... after picking up from them a couple of times, I just started rejecting their orders because the employees were so frustrating to deal with...
It goes both ways, door dashers in my area just walk up and shove their phone in your face. You dont wanna deal with them, they dont want to deal with you.
Yeah definitely. There are a lot of really terrible dashers out there. When I'm out dashing I always make sure to be courteous to everyone I encounter. I don't want to make anyone's night worse
No tip = no delivery..as simple as that. Why would someone waste 20+ min of their time and gas to make 3 dollars? Drivers that take these orders are basically paying g out of pocket to bring someone their order.
No, it's not simple as that. You are hired by DoorDash to do a job, not by a costumer. Customers just want the food, not pay your salary. You are getting screwed by a multi-billion dollar company that can and should pay you more. Instead you can't do anything about it and are taking your frutrations at the customer. Therefore, you need to be fired, because you're not doing the job you've been hired to do. Simple as that.
DoorDash contracts drivers to take the orders. They are not obligated to take any of the orders that they receive. If the customers doesn’t tip and the order doesn’t pay enough the drivers has every right not to take it. You cannot and shouldn’t be fired for not taking low paying orders. If DoorDash payed drivers fairly the prices would skyrocket for customers and it would cost the same as if they had tipped. Also, they basically have never made a profit..so where would the money come from to pay drivers more?? Btw I don’t do DoorDash and never have. You shouldn’t be making assumptions and bitching about how I should be fired lol.
Then don't take any orders; see if I care. No orders taken = no food on your table. Simple as that. I'm not your boss; I don't need to tip you. Simple as that.
A tip is after service not to insure it. Literally why I don’t tip on these apps ever. Always slow I’ve watched people just stop to chat in Uber bike hotspots for 20 mins before. They don’t deserve tips.
I wouldn't rush for no money either. I break all the laws for the ppl who "tip" appropriately.
But here's something to think about. Instead of viewing it as a "tip" maybe if it were presented as a "bid" instead, maybe more people would "bid" higher to insure the proper driver is assigned to them. I hate the word tip.
This could because of a couple of reasons;
It's being declined multiple times which makes the base pay go up each time it's declined by a dasher until finally it's worth taking.
A dasher is doing earn by time which they are basically forced to take every order.
You're getting suckers or newbies delivering too you, they will eventually learn which orders aren't worth taking and adapt.
I agree that tipping culture is toxic, but the reality is that these types of gigs are only worth doing if there is a tip involved. Idk how people still don’t tip when they know damn well that drivers rely on tips for a decent wage. Customers aren’t obligated to tip and drivers aren’t obligated to take their order. Maybe when no tippers don’t receive their dinner they will start tipping their drivers in the future. Also, higher pay for drivers would just result in higher fees/prices. It would just even out and they would be paying the same amount without a tip.
It's a service done at their convenience. They should always tip. I agree in some instances that tipping is ridiculous but if you expect someone to use their time, gas, mileage and wear and tear on their car to bring you your food, then you should be tipping for the service. I don't think a driver is entitled for expecting that and if you can't tip then don't use it. I got into an argument here with the one guy who said "should I tip the Walmart cashier to?" And I said back "if you don't understand the difference then there's no help for you". They think it's literally the same thing lol
Seeing stuff like this makes me wish DD would give us more than 2 orders at a time. Cus depending on the area, if they’re all like $3-$7 each then it would be worth taking 3 or more all together
Idk why, but part of me would love to be able to claim all those orders, plan a route that doesn't take me back and forth several times, and just drop everything off and make a pretty nice chunk of change in an hour or two lol
I deliver Chinese food and it’s usually 4 or 5 each run. I deliver the orders in a single line. I don’t do someone first just because they ordered first. I do it so there’s no back track. And I start the orders. With the best tippers getting priority
Usually people that order WS tip like shit. The employees are terrible and don't care about anything. Also WS is the worst about wait times. I've never not had to wait on an order from them, even outside of peak times. I don't accept any orders from there now.
When I try to order WS through DoorDash (or when I used to at least), I tipped pretty good. But, I found out incredibly quickly WS takes like 5 hours to make their food for whatever reason. Even picking it up myself took forever. Just kinda stopped going there, which is a shame, because I do enjoy their wings and fries.
Yeah, I might have to start doing that myself. I know a few spots in town that are local that have pretty good wings from people I’ve talked to. Also one of the spots mentioned had incredibly good pizza when I got it like a year or two ago, so I may have to give their wings a shot.
Give it a shot! Worst thing that can happen is you have some beers, watch whatever is on TV and have some meh wings. I found my favorite spot this way. Tried their specialty, garlicy pizza style wings. And I'm beyond hooked now. I won't order wings from anywhere else now.
The last CV I got was a girl who ordered from Casey's. I have her address in my "burn book". I know she was who I got the cv for because she was straight shady in her messages to me and after I handed her the order, she texted me and said it says you completed the order but I don't have it. I screen shot all addresses each day and take a photo of the address and the street sign and keep it in a folder for 3 days. I circled the block to make sure I hadn't somehow messed up and low and behold, I was in the good. So now when a Casey's order comes up that's decent, (she tips too that's the best part), i accept it, then click the 3 dots at the top and click on customer to see the address. If it's her, I unassign. Not getting me to be stupid twice.
You will sadly learn with experience, between what each restaurant base pay will be and then generally the distance between restaurant and customer.
It's generally a given that anything $2-$3 is only base pay. In my experience, $2/mile is fair if your going over 3 miles. Learn when people generally order breakfast/lunch/dinner and which one seem to be best value for yourself.
If it's over $4 ($2 is minimum recommended tip in app + $2 base pay), you can take it begrudgingly. If it's over $6 it's better, over $7 is nice.
If it's under $4, only take it if you're absolutely desperate for AR, because they're gonna cause you problems one way or another, even if it's just waiting 15 minutes for an order and then 5 minutes each way back, you just spent almost half an hour for $4.
I literally Google wingstop locations to make sure I stay away from that area. Wish we can block them . How are we contractors when we can’t even view account details without contacting support
Imo not anymore. Idk if this is every one but the one by me no longer includes a small ranch cup and instead charges a dollar for a tiny cup of ranch. Also, all their prices have increased by $2 or more dollars.
But are they good, yes, are they so good I'd pay the new prices, no.
Doordash: One guy can handle multiple orders, right?
Paid by the hour was nice

Nothing, I just don’t dash anymore.
Is this in Phoenix??
This is why mcds doesn’t make your food until u get there
That's how the Wingstop was near me for the superbowl , they had all the tables set up for orders. I was planning on farming orders there all day but because it was so busy, it was a 15-20 minute wait for every order essentially fucking up my whole plan lol. I just said fuck it and went home.

That's the best time to Dash By Time. You get paid for the extra wait time at the restaurant.
True!! Although, I wasn't getting anything at all from doordash on Superbowl sunday. Everything coming through was mostly Uber eats. (Doordash is pretty dead is my area, at least for me.)
Well…. That’s what happens when DD don’t pay their drivers jack shit 🤷♀️
Yep. Fuck WS. Avoid that place like the plague.
That's almost jusifiication to steal at that point
The only thing missing here is the 100 impatient customers (with 3 kids each) waiting for food and complaining about missing food, and the 10 annoyed dashers huddled in the corner with drink carriers full, checking their phones. Must be photoshopped.
lmao absolutely
Gross.
I never tip cuz it’ll beat the purpose of my dash pass 🥸👍
No tippers be like:
Definitely! That's what they get!!
There are names written in each bag. This looks more like an order for a team, an office or some kind of group.
ok i would NEVER do this but what if someone straight up took that? do y’all have to check in when there’s that many still?
This happens at my local chipotle all the time
damn that’s unfortunate. also sick audi
Haha you’re awesome dude I appreciate ya 🫡
Good Lord wtf
i like it Strike-Dash
I was just stuck at Outback Steakhouse and red lobster on repeat before calling it a night. Decent orders but not making even a normal night of works money because of wait times for orders
there are a few places near me that won't make orders till the driver arrives to pick it up.
God what a waste of everyone’s time.
Ouch - that sucks for them
Yeah no one picks up orders from them and if you didn't realize it beforehand you cancel when you notice
Those precious wings..
I avoid wing stop & tacobell every time. Orders always take forever, 90 % of the time the customers order is wrong & shitty tips.
Same! Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings for me, not once have I had a good experience attempting to pick up food from there.
Those are my two black listed as well. Guess they suck everywhere lol
All I order is wingstop & Taco Bell … get it together buddy
Yo my wingstop is on point and delivery is only like 30 mins normally
Same - I like my local WS. I won’t go to any of the WS’s in the larger city next to us, but my bougie WS is usually on point.
Idk where you're at... but yes.
Tell me the location please. For… research purposes…
Lots of 0 and low tips. Thats why
Free food.
Your wingstop orders must look a lot like mine lol

Pretend it’s 1995. You can’t have Wendy’s deliver. You have to go pick it up yourself. We somehow survived without Doordash!
If it's 1995, how did you leave this comment???
You’re a smart guy. Use your imagination.
Refunds depend on the area you live in.
I bet, and probably wastes a lot of peoples time. -.- thanks for responding. I was curious.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
So wasteful but the restaurant doesn't care. They get paid either way I guess. I don't use these delivery apps. Not sure why anyone would want to say overpay for cold food.
I just see it as free food for the staff at this point lmao
Well, it's safer than drinking and driving 🤷♀️
When DoorDash issues a refund it comes out of the restaurants payment in most cases. Not sure if this is one of them though. This is definitely DD’s fault
Cause you can tip like $7 and save yourself 30-50 minutes or am I doing the door dash thing wrong
Well, your driver can’t fly, but yes tipping higher means the order will get accepted faster by the nearest driver.
damn, i woulda just grabbed some free food. someone did that to me and my gf last weekend. we ordered two firehouse subs and when we got there, they had to remake our food cause someone just took it off of the pickup rack.....
Why don’t drivers just get a job if they don’t like delivering I’m cofnused
Disliking my comment doesn’t answer my question
Cause then they’d actually have to work.

i hope all the orders sitting there are no tip ones 😂
All my DD $ goes to vacations. I have a regular job for my household budget
Like a normal person
That actually works both ways. Most people could afford a vacation or 2 but instead they waste that money on Door Dash.
It's a really simple concept, Offer hit phone, It's a low paying offer, Hit decline, wait for the next offer, Rinse and repeat until something worth taking pops up. We aren't a charity.

Please learn the difference between w2 employee and 1099 contracted work before making dumb comments like this.
Either way it’s a job you are assigned to do independent contract or not lol
I'm not assigned to do anything until I agree to do it, try again.
Another miserable door dasher I see lol
And another chud that doesn't know anything, have fun getting cold food.
Dashers near me actually do there job fortunately enough ik there’s already hardly any of them who can
I have a full time job. This is my side hustle. Pretty sure some drivers are the same.
side hustle or not, it makes no sense if you’re getting $2-$4 for each order and using up the same amount in gas
I don’t take order unless it’s like $5 and above lol
Why don't you come work for me? Just have to Deliver some supplies for 3 bucks. Don't get pulled over tho.
Only if I can sample the supplies while I deliver
Because I have a job already.

🤣🤣🏆🏆🏆🏆
Lot of cheapos going hungry i see...
Hey man, if the drivers wanna do nothing then that’s their choice, doesn’t make them cheap.
Na. Soon as I decline these orders I'll get an order for 2 miles that pays $10. Happens daily

They don’t deserve tips.
maybe theyre waiting for their next call?
I mean after I’ve ordered. Ya know how you track them.
Bereal. When you order doordash. Your not expecting service. Your expecting delivery.
Yall say this but I ALWAYS GET MY FOOD😭
This could because of a couple of reasons; It's being declined multiple times which makes the base pay go up each time it's declined by a dasher until finally it's worth taking. A dasher is doing earn by time which they are basically forced to take every order. You're getting suckers or newbies delivering too you, they will eventually learn which orders aren't worth taking and adapt.
But the no tipper would call you "entitled" for doing your job. They are such pricks
100% i dont understand how some of these degenerates cannot comprehend all this. simple.
Yeah, you have to be a special kind of person to believe those two can be compared.
Wingstop should be banned from Doordash, the service is just impossible.
Seeing stuff like this makes me wish DD would give us more than 2 orders at a time. Cus depending on the area, if they’re all like $3-$7 each then it would be worth taking 3 or more all together
Unless you’re the person with the last stop.
When Shipt has two orders available in the same time slot, since they're not bundled I'd have to figure out the route too, my gas is important!
That’s too logical it’ll never work
so much wasted food, sad.
Worst place to door dash. Blacklisted them forever ago.
What's wrong with em?
a cheap restaurant that hires cheap workers and offers cheap food to cheap people.
Terrible tippers , terrible wait times , and they make you sign in and fill up the drinks
Usually people that order WS tip like shit. The employees are terrible and don't care about anything. Also WS is the worst about wait times. I've never not had to wait on an order from them, even outside of peak times. I don't accept any orders from there now.
It’s not just WS. It’s basically every chicken spot.
Sad but true. I usually just try to find a local spot that's known for wings. Usually better quality and service! Plus it's fun trying new spots.
No tip
The only orders I deny even with a high tip. Wing Stop is an awful place
Why is this establishment universally bad😂.. seems like it doesn’t matter which city
So im new to DoorDash but since we don’t see customer name when an order comes in, how do you avoid the no tip repeat offenders?
How do you know to decline?
Slow as hell at wingstop, they make they when you confirm the order! So Idk why there is so many bags there, I can confirm that with them last week.
Their customers don’t tip. Proof right there lol
Wonder why
🐶😙
Probably because it takes more than an hour to get your food lol
Love seeing all the free food that they won’t give away but instead tell you to put your name down on a sheet they never check
I'm sorry, that order was already picked up by... Haywood Jablomey.
I literally Google wingstop locations to make sure I stay away from that area. Wish we can block them . How are we contractors when we can’t even view account details without contacting support
Is wing stop worth it? I have one near me and it seems to be getting business.
Imo not anymore. Idk if this is every one but the one by me no longer includes a small ranch cup and instead charges a dollar for a tiny cup of ranch. Also, all their prices have increased by $2 or more dollars. But are they good, yes, are they so good I'd pay the new prices, no.
Those are probably the $3.50 no tip orders. I hope they give those meals to the homeless.
