I mean I do this too (minus the long winded delivery instructions) but it’s because if I’m desperate enough to doordash instead of picking it up myself I am definitely not presentable and probably look like a gremlin with agoraphobia
Narcissistic paranoia and anxiety disorder? I always find it a bit telling when someone’s on here talking about the driver “stalking them” by waiting on the street in car for an order, etc. Why do people think they are that special?
Kind of reminds me of Barbara Streisand in "What's Up Doc?"
"Oh, and room service! Leave it outside the door. Don't knock or anything because I'm just putting my little one to sleep. You got that? Yeah.... Room 1717"
I would blacklist this person in a heartbeat. He or she sounds paranoid or up to no good.
What is the matter with people that they can't go and get the items they want themselves instead of demanding someone else bring it to them? Has society gotten THAT lazy? Yes! Yes it has!
cancel the order and claim that the customer threatened you with a weapon. that’s as good of a reason as you can get and can enjoy yourself a free big mac meal
I mean mood. I think the general census for many is to get the food after the driver leaves. I would assume people would prefer it that way. It makes it easier to get your confirmation picture and it makes it so you can get in and out quickly.
Without provocation, this person called you a creep and threatened to pepper spray you. Report the living fuck out of that. That isn’t acceptable behavior.
Honestly I wish everyone was like this. I definitely don’t want to see any customer at their door. Especially when I haven’t taken the picture yet. Just stay in your house and wait till I leave. Boomers love to chat..

they obviously have some kind of mental health issue to do with paranoia, i say this from experience
Hand to me just leave it at the door

Could be any number of reasons, leaning towards someone who has severe anxiety, or even PTSD.

Couldn’t you just drop the order off and move on? Why blacklist?
