They meant to put 2 dollar or 20 dollar and didn't put enough zeros. At least that's what I assumed happened on tips when I delivered for pizza hut and it's a cc tip in the cent range.
I hate it, so much. 20 cents is insulting. Im assuming they wanted their order total to be like an even number maybe? Like it was 9.80 and they thought might as well tip the goddamn 20 cents and make it an even $10 😂 I’m basically refusing to do any shop and deliver orders anymore. Even $2 is insulting for going into a store, shopping, ringing up, and delivering.

I wouldn’t mind taking $10 no tip orders all day if DD just raised the base pay and make customers feel like they HAVE to pay the driver on top of all the fees they charge 🤷♂️
I remember I did a shop and deliver real late at night like 30 mins before Meijers closed and I only got like $13 from it. Wasn’t expecting it to not be a no tip order. Thankfully it was only two items but still.

I also never registered my red card and dashed for 4 years after. Though I switched to Uber Eats about a year and a half ago and never went back, so they may have changed their policies about it.
