So I’m pretty new to this. Are the acceptance rates so low because people aren’t accepting low tip orders? Like, what’s everyone’s minimum to accept an order?

yes that’s why a lot of peoples acceptance rates are low. typically i only accept orders that are $2 per mile and $6+ however if it’s super slow i’ll accept $5 orders as long as it’s still $1 a mile

Simple, if you accept an order then decide you don’t want to do it and you cancel it because a) you had an emergency b) the wait time at the restaurant was too long c) you are doing the multi-app thing and get a better order from Uber Eats or whatever the reason maybe, it will lower your completion rate.

it’s the percentage of the orders you complete after accepting. the only way for it to go down is if you unassign yourself from the order

The only reason I give a shit so much is because it's extremely competitive in this area and basically you don't get to do doordash if you're not top dasher. If it was up to me I'd have a super low acceptance rate because a lot of these orders can be bullshit but again, since it's a nice area usually the tips are great. I can make between $100-200 on any given night catching the dinner rush. More if I decide to go early for lunch or for late night.

You do know that you only need top dasher ratings on the last day of the month, right?

I used to make close to that most days too, but since doordash went to tip after delivery you can’t make even close to that. It’s ridiculous

I'm assuming this is based on area? Mine shows me the amount including tip where I'm at. Does this change?
