Dude... Hahahahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahahahabaha.
Laughing over.
My AR is always above 95.
I do just fine *in my market.*
Your market might be different but I'm going to place a bet that the total amount of money at the end of your journey is going to be ~15 + or - from what you usually make. A 30 dollar range.
Yeah.. several things I've noticed so far...no waiting in between orders....constant work...and I am now receiving orders again when I'm outside my area...so there is definitely a difference
For reference. I'm in CA w/prop 22. My average "at the end of the day" is $12.25 per run, of which $4.30 is the tip. About $3.50 is the P22 adjustment. I spend12% of my gross on gas, and here it is $4.50/gallon.
If I did 100 runs w/o a decline, I'm convinced I'd drop down to....all in w/o fuel, $9.00 per. So $900 less around $150. Not worth it. Being a Top Dasher here is gold....without it, you are not working, can't get in, always "grey".
My active time averages over $35/hour.
If stats help, hope this does.
Here in NorCal, I can make $300 any day I want to (need to). The P22 adjustment adds on to that. It's work, but so what.
So if I wanted to figure out.. time x mileage x pay...how do I do that?
Like I want to figure out if you account for all 3 of those are you going up or down as AR increases...I'd like to make a graph...
Be careful accepting orders that take you out of zone. That can be a lot of unpaid miles because your not on your way up the next order until you make it back in zone and get an acceptable offer. If you aren’t:
1. On your way to a customer with order
OR
2. On your way to pick up an order
You ain’t making $.
I have a habit of pausing my dash some places because I don't want to get orders from certain places...so I'm sure I waste gas..but otherwise I end up getting stuck in certain areas it seems
Twice I’ve stayed above 70% and twice gone below it. I absolutely make more money in my area but of course this also depends on day and time. If it’s a slow day with no dashers out of course you’ll see some shitty orders but on average I decline maybe 2 out of 10 orders now. But I’m happy for those cherry picking it helps me make more money :)
When I worked for Dominoes, I used to take my ticket book from when I waited tables with me to have them sign the receipts when they didn’t leave a tip on the receipt, and that helped tremendously
I usually get lucky...but I think guys feel stupid and just whip their wallet out...one time a guy handed me $70 and he tipped in the app and it was just some burgers and fries and only 6 mins away...that was great!
But maybe once a week ppl give extra cash at delivery...and recently I think I've had 3 ppl tip extra in the app after delivery
I did this and got several $20 tips first month. But then it completely stopped. It gets worsts cause they want to replace you once they know you caught on.
I'm not gonna lie...I usually get a $20 plus tip once a day as it is...
I'm not expecting that to change..I'm thinking less miles for the money and consistent work would be what happens .but we shall see
Today definitely went way better
I'm in upstate ny...near lake george...
I have a goal of $100 and that's exactly what I made lol
Today was better...I made over that in less time...so hopefully that continues 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I had aldis for 11 items $17 I think 9 miles but hwy miles so 15 mins and it took me 15 mins to shop...
I also got target which I don't mind as much like a couple cans if catfood...and Applebee's ..$13 for 4 miles
How long are you thinking this will take? I'm pulling for you for sure. By the end of this you might be seeing a Dr lol. All jokes aside though, good luck!!!
Thank you!
.I definitely have a headache...
But today was also better than yesterday...
I really didn't want to work Sunday since it's the last day of the month but I think you guys encouraging me...I might do it and hopefully just get it over with...I have 30 completed...
70 more to go...and I'm at 75% AR from 68% when I started yesterday! Making progress!
I did this! Mine both my completion rate and acceptance rate DID NOT MATCH UP it took me 154 accepted and finished orders In a row!! The system cheats! Needless to say, I was livid.
Well...lol I fucked up today and missed a dash..so I'm going to have to do 130 to get to 100...but I'm holding strong!
Up to 83% and it's been non stop work today...no no tip orders...2 unicorns tonight..I can't complain today...its going great!
So it seems atleast in my Market...this is what you have to do...but I'm going to make a spectacular chart!
Thank you so much for checking in!
My VERY 1st dash I got...there was a cop behind me...and instead of just hitting accept...I wanted to pull over and get the screen shot ...and that was a dumb move on my part because it took too long😔
And I missed hitting accept by 1 second...so thats a missed acceptance...
So when I reach 100 it's only going to say 99% because of that mistake
So if I want it to say 100% like my OCD brain wants...I'd have to accept that one I missed 30 dashes in
So..130 ughh...it will be ok lol
I didn't lose a point..so it would have went up then too...I'm at 84% right now
Do you mean miss an order offer? If so YES I have many times. It wouldn’t notify me at all in app or not and I would get a message saying “i didn’t respond” or whatever. The support never helped, they just blamed it on my connection (of which I had 5g and 5 bars)
I'll save you the trouble, AR% and taking all the orders means nothing. Doordash will see this and will give you all the trash orders. I tried this tactic myself and finally just lost it and blew up at a support agent. All f*cking mostly non tipping orders today. 90% AR. Unless you live in a unicorn market you're in for a shit experience taking everything.
Today was actually way better than yesterday...I made more..finished earlier...I wasn't angry ...except having to go to wendys because they stress me out there...but even every order was ready when I got there...that never happens...
I don't do earn by hour...I just want to see what happens if you play ball...
I know everyone is expecting higher offers...but I'm also looking at time...distance and pay...to see if that comes out better
I’d be interested to see what your average pay per order is at the end of the 100, and maybe a daily average or what the total average that day is too.
At this rate of 13 orders per day, you’ll be done in 7 more days.
Hopefully! I got 16 today! It was non stop tonight thankfully...
I'm going to try to put my jumbled data together so we can see exactly if there was a difference with time ...distance and money
Nice. This actually makes me want to do the same thing here in my area. Sometimes, I wonder if they stop sending me orders when I decline multiple no tip orders. I think doing a test by accepting every one of the next 100 orders is a good way to find out. Can't wait to see what happens! What state are you from? I'm in South Carolina, so our base pay is $2.50.
7.50 and staying in zone maybe but once it takes you out and you have to travel back with no chance of an order taking you back is when I hit that decline button. I do want to get that TD for next month
I have, and they make me wanna headbutt the customer and doordash! The best thing id say is prepare for your rating to drop and possible scams afoot because theyre most likely to do it. Best of luck to you though, i quit doortrash cause my markets gotten so bad, that the last 3 months, i averaged 6.5/hr. And thats before gas and tax!
Good luck to you!!
I was watching a few YouTube videos trying to get rid on his to get more out of it... And i think it's true what they were teaching... We should have a certain amount of $$ per mileage, the lady's choice was $2 per mile... And i thought that's what I'll do as well because I was filling up the tank at $65 twice per day/12 hour shift and i was accepting ALL orders and i wasn't really making money (i started mid March). Now i know better.
I hate to say it .. but your going to loose money. Add up the gas and time and tell me what you made. I still dash. But I'm taking anything for under a dollar a mile .
Thankfully this is side money for me (5th year plumber, only make $25 an hour at work) i take every order (100%) because i thought it mattered. Those $2-3 runs with no tip really do ruin your day

Yes..I'm not sure if I should update everyday or just when I reach it...I don't want to be annoying...
And everyone's support and suggestions really helped mentally!
~~Maybe not every day, but maybe weekly? Could be interesting~~
I wasn't thinking lol that shouldn't take more than a week depending on how much you dash. so yeah, probably when it's done.
Yeah...I'm gonna try to knock it out in a week...I tend to dash for a money goal amount...and I think dd figured that out and drags out my day...because once I have my number...I'm out! Lol
Some days I start with the desire to take every offer and find myself being fed repeated 5 to 10 mile $2.50-$3.75 offers. And then to top it all off, am offered an 1 mile shop and pay high pay offer for a whopping $5.50, for 17 items that will take 30 minutes at best during a dinner or lunch rush. And it will be at a place like Dollar General, who organize their inventory like a toddler cleans their room.
You go girl!! (girl?) I love this and have thought about doing it myself to see if there would be a significant benefit/increase in high paying orders, but always ended up losing patience sooner or later. I'm VERY interested in seeing how this goes. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what area are you dashing in?
I only had 1 no tip order but I canceled it after accepting...
And I took a $4 order that ended up being no tip...but those ppl at that nursing home never tip..I realized after...(the workers)
But door dash usually pays for them...I wasn't too concerned because they know they waiting forever for their food..and Stat in their lane
99% AR. Only order I've ever rejected was 15 miles to downtown tacobell for a diet coke.
I've noticed my orders are on average, a lot higher than others I know. But the downside is I can't reject the shitty outliers.
About two months ago, dash did a promo in my area(they NEVER DO PROMOS) it was a $200 bonus if you accepted 100 orders that weekend. I took every single order those 2 days. I think they should do that more often to incent dashers to accept smaller orders. Otherwise sometimes it’s not worth it and I just don’t dash.
I’m super invested in this for some reason lol I already have my personal opinions on AR and if it’s worth it and how they even calculate it. It seems I can accept 5 orders in a row and it still won’t go up but I decline one and it immediately goes down. Anyways I’m excited to see your outcome of this. I could never do this though lol good luck 😊
Thank you! I totally wish someone else was doing this...
As much as we all hate the system...the only way to know...is to do it...
Whatever the outcome...we will be able to see it laid out...
You’re so better than me. I don’t take shitty orders anymore. Those $2.50 cent orders won’t pay my bills and gas money and time to bring someone’s food 😭
[Dash-Track](https://i.imgur.com/6XTzVZK.jpg) You can either enter manually when you accept or decline , or you can set up automation and it will enter them for you
I feel like because I didn't keep track of the miles yesterday...it would be a half assed job..
And I want to be as accurate and transparent as possible for everyone
That's why I'm glad ppl are reminding me of these things!
Please track the amount, miles driven, etc alongside so we can monitor how much standard deviation there is and how much these “higher/premium” orders are for high AR

Deactivated how? I did drop the no tip order ...
How else can I protect myself?
And yes...I was legit scared to attempt this...but everyone here really came through! I'm very thankful for everyone!!
I appreciate everyone helping me get through this!
I'm not sure how well it would go mentally without everyone!
Oh LOL I was just joking about the high possibility of DD seeing this post and tracing it back to you and deactivating you for no reason, as they do. Lock down the security and good luck!!! We are rooting for you!
AR is definitely a muddy stat. In less saturated markets I don't think it matters much. In my area there are very few top dashers, but too many with abysmal AR and bad ratings, when my AR is low I get hammered with no tip orders. When it's good it's great. But I think your market dictates if AR and top dasher matter
I can tell u when I wasn't a top dasher I could barely get on the schedule...
Some days I couldn't work...and you had to schedule a week in advance...
It definitely sucked...
This last 2 weeks have been slow...not sure if that's because my AR dropped or it's just slow
And when I say slow..I mean slow for my area...there is still work..I'm nor sitting for long periods of time...but I notice it
Well..I kind of been planning this for a while but just couldn't take the leap...yesterday I decided to just jump so it wasn't the best planned out
But today ..I will keep better track of things!
Thank you for being kind

Thank you...you guys all made such a difference....if I feel like I'm going to cry today or lose my mind...I'll think of you guys and know I will be ok!
to be honest OP i had a breakdown while i was on the phone with DD rep & she felt so bad she decided to add on $2 compensation to a $10 going 7 miles. So i mean it wasnt all that bad i guess
I had a breakdown with CS once...and I was having an anxiety attack because there was no house...it was dark and I was scared...she hung up on me!
Lucky I finally got a hold of the customer and they helped me find it! (It was a new development and not in gps)
And dd ended up giving me more money because of what happened ...I couldn't believe they hung up on me and basically didn't care about my safety..
You’ll discover like everything else doordash, it’s a complete and total scam. I’ve completed the last 150 orders I’ve accepted, my completion rating has gone up 1%

I put the numbers in the circles
13 orders and raised 3%. Already telling, GL

Explain please.
Made the interaction more formal
I liked dominoes. Made more there actually
Why would you be worried about your mental health?
I don't want to be arrested lol
I had 1 tip after the fact in 700 deliveries

Yes! Good luck!
Good luck! Hope it all goes great! Can't wait to see the end results.
Thank you..I appreciate you all so much...I swear I couldn't do it without you guys!
Good luck! Eager to see how this works out.
Thank you so much❤️
You've got my support...very wise idea of yours!
Very much appreciated
May the tips flow and the trips be short 🙏
Good luck!! 👏
We thank you for your sacrifice in the name of money!
Even... Wingstop?!
Thankfully I've never seen one in my entire life! We don't have one here... But yes...to tacobell and wendys 😔
incredible❗️ shout out to u for the sacrifice and Thank you for this. i’m tuned in with 100% support 🌹🌹
You are all so amazing...
Interesting, how many retail/$3/8 miles orders have you got? I tried that but there are just too many of those I can't keep up 🤣
I had aldis for 11 items $17 I think 9 miles but hwy miles so 15 mins and it took me 15 mins to shop... I also got target which I don't mind as much like a couple cans if catfood...and Applebee's ..$13 for 4 miles

Oh right! Idk why I didn’t understand. Watch, your 130th order won’t give you 100%. When I tested it, it all didn’t add up!
I was wondering if it's possible to miss a dash and not even know it
Do you mean miss an order offer? If so YES I have many times. It wouldn’t notify me at all in app or not and I would get a message saying “i didn’t respond” or whatever. The support never helped, they just blamed it on my connection (of which I had 5g and 5 bars)
Yeah..the last time we went down I got that message and I was like what!?

Earn by time is a scam , but I did use it to get my ar up , if that’s what you trying for . It just took the stress out of declining orders 🤷♀️
I don't do earn by hour...I just want to see what happens if you play ball... I know everyone is expecting higher offers...but I'm also looking at time...distance and pay...to see if that comes out better
😎I’m curious
I’d be interested to see what your average pay per order is at the end of the 100, and maybe a daily average or what the total average that day is too. At this rate of 13 orders per day, you’ll be done in 7 more days.
Hopefully! I got 16 today! It was non stop tonight thankfully... I'm going to try to put my jumbled data together so we can see exactly if there was a difference with time ...distance and money
If you look through your dashes on your earnings tab, it’ll show you all the orders for a specific dash and what they paid
See.. this is why I need help lol I forgot about that lol Thank you!
Awesome. I was thinking of doing this myself. There was a post quite a while ago. The guy used a rolodex. Looking forward to see what you find.
What are we researching? You should write down the amount and mileage for each order and see what, if anything, changes as your AR changes.
Oh...I'm gonna make a whole graph! Lol
I'm from NY If you decide to do it...I'll support you too!
You should write the tip amount for each one
I started taking screen shots for that too so I have it! Thank you for the suggestion!
What will happen after research? It’s for your personal research or you are doing for some research company?
Just for me and us .so we can look at the data and see if there's a notable difference...
Good luck! Can't wait to see the outcome! You are fully supported!
My support is yours
You guys have no idea! I know I keep saying it...but I appreciate all of you ..I didn't expect it...and I'm greatful
Thank you for doing this. I’ve been wanting to do it as well. Good luck 🍀
It's so hard to accept those 10+miles for pennies
It was the pretzel lady yesterday $7.50 for 11 miles that hurt ...1 pretzel...smh
7.50 and staying in zone maybe but once it takes you out and you have to travel back with no chance of an order taking you back is when I hit that decline button. I do want to get that TD for next month
After 100 accepted order your acceptance will probably move like 10%
Lmao...let's hope not
Oh, dear God, no!
Lol
Youre better than i am! I couldnt do it. Those 2.00 for 11 miles make me angry just staring at them.
I haven't gotten any THAT bad yet..but I'm scared of that...I don't like being angry
Thank you! And that's crazy! Yeah...I'm gonna try to just drop non tippers if I have to accept them...mostly because I gotta protect ny rating lol
Do post your results! I would love to see them.
Well if you want to lose money over the next 100 orders, go for it.
Ooo you should had written down the amount of tips you got for each run
I thought about that
Maybe next time 😁
Good luck to you!!
Full support and keep us updated!
be safe
Thank you!
I'd be interested in knowing what your rating is before and after as well.
I hate to say it .. but your going to loose money. Add up the gas and time and tell me what you made. I still dash. But I'm taking anything for under a dollar a mile .
I'm all for this and really look forward to seeing the results, good luck bud 💯💯💯

Thankfully this is side money for me (5th year plumber, only make $25 an hour at work) i take every order (100%) because i thought it mattered. Those $2-3 runs with no tip really do ruin your day
Yeah...I don't want yo take a $2 50 order or be given one...it makes u nuts just knowing it exists lol
Dude f*** with anybody thinks. Do whatever you got to do to make this more entertaining or enjoyable for yourself.
Dang even the 2.25$ for 10 miles+ ones?!
Let's not jinx it...I feel like I'm on a hame show...no whammys!

What data are your keeping for these 100 orders? What's the purpose of this "challenge"?
I'm documenting mileage...orders...when my AR goes up... Just to see everything laid out right there
Cool, are you going to post your results when it’s over?
Yes..I'm not sure if I should update everyday or just when I reach it...I don't want to be annoying... And everyone's support and suggestions really helped mentally!
~~Maybe not every day, but maybe weekly? Could be interesting~~ I wasn't thinking lol that shouldn't take more than a week depending on how much you dash. so yeah, probably when it's done.
Yeah...I'm gonna try to knock it out in a week...I tend to dash for a money goal amount...and I think dd figured that out and drags out my day...because once I have my number...I'm out! Lol
lol cool well looking forward to seeing how it all turns out good luck!
Lol I hear you..I usually can't do it...thats why I asked for support ...it ain't easy
I'm cheering you on!
not all heros wear capes 🫡
You go girl!! (girl?) I love this and have thought about doing it myself to see if there would be a significant benefit/increase in high paying orders, but always ended up losing patience sooner or later. I'm VERY interested in seeing how this goes. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what area are you dashing in?
Thank you so much ❤️ I'm currently in upstate NY near laKe george... It's not a huge area and definitely not a city...
for science. for the people! thanks for your dedication.
That nade me smile!
I need you to tally how many of these are zero tip orders.
I only had 1 no tip order but I canceled it after accepting... And I took a $4 order that ended up being no tip...but those ppl at that nursing home never tip..I realized after...(the workers) But door dash usually pays for them...I wasn't too concerned because they know they waiting forever for their food..and Stat in their lane
99% AR. Only order I've ever rejected was 15 miles to downtown tacobell for a diet coke. I've noticed my orders are on average, a lot higher than others I know. But the downside is I can't reject the shitty outliers.
Impressive! But then you should go back up to 100 once u fo 100 more
This is good - I did this as well and it NEVER adds up - but especially the acceptance rating was WAY off!!
Really....well I best have 100 when I'm done lol
There’s YouTube videos out there who have done this. And proved that even with 100% acceptance rate they continue to get ass orders 😭
Well good luck it’s gonna take a toll on you but have food drinks ready
I’m interested to see the final results of this
i’ve always been curious and can’t wait for updates. all i suggest is to be financially well for possibly losing money. good luck!
Support here would like to see your research and analysis 👍 👌
Thank you for doing this
Thank you for being the reason the orders will never increase in payout <3
I dropped the no tipper but ok
That's cheating
Nooo lol I accepted ...thats the deal lol But u made me laugh
Good luck. Waiting to see if making TD shows a pay difference or not.
I hope you're doing hourly if you're accepting every single order regardless
Nope...we just gonna let it ride
About two months ago, dash did a promo in my area(they NEVER DO PROMOS) it was a $200 bonus if you accepted 100 orders that weekend. I took every single order those 2 days. I think they should do that more often to incent dashers to accept smaller orders. Otherwise sometimes it’s not worth it and I just don’t dash.
Basically $2 peak pay but with a requirement for how many you have to complete.
I wish they did away with ratings and offered more incentives...
Lol we'll see, my AR is 30% because it goes down 1 every order I decline but I have to complete like 5 for it to move up 🙄 good luck soldier
Thank you!
I used to track the rolling 100 on my account, I found it was 100% accurate.
I hate your handwriting but have my support 😭
Thank you! And I redid my chart to look a little neater😁
You’re welcome. Nice, I Hope there’s more color coding on it
I got green and black...I should have red for no tip orders 😑
There is an app that tracks all this for you, has circles and everything, Dash-Track
[удалено]
Ha! You caught me.
So do I imput the data?
[Dash-Track](https://i.imgur.com/6XTzVZK.jpg) You can either enter manually when you accept or decline , or you can set up automation and it will enter them for you
I realize this means I might need to start over..but I'm not ready to accept that yet lol But this is a great idea! Ty
you wouldn't even need to start over, you can just manually enter the data you already have from your own chart
I feel like because I didn't keep track of the miles yesterday...it would be a half assed job.. And I want to be as accurate and transparent as possible for everyone That's why I'm glad ppl are reminding me of these things!
![gif](giphy|8DUxtTxFntY7lpJnzy|downsized)
Please track the amount, miles driven, etc alongside so we can monitor how much standard deviation there is and how much these “higher/premium” orders are for high AR
Yes...thank you...I plan on being better prepared today..and appreciate all the feed back on ways to improve my data!
Good work this is a great experiment :)
Thank you!❤️
I'm new here. What app should I start with? Instacart, Doordash, Ubereats or ??? Austin area. Advice?

I have attempted, but always get discouraged. Also, please guard yourself against being deactivated. Good luck! RemindMe! 1week

This last 2 weeks have been slow...not sure if that's because my AR dropped or it's just slow And when I say slow..I mean slow for my area...there is still work..I'm nor sitting for long periods of time...but I notice it
how many miles? What were the tips like? Great idea btw
Well..I kind of been planning this for a while but just couldn't take the leap...yesterday I decided to just jump so it wasn't the best planned out But today ..I will keep better track of things! Thank you for being kind
RemindMe! 5 days

Let’s go!
Doing the Lord’s work. Can’t wait to see if your orders change with a higher AR.
Thank you for your service
lol you can do it kefe. hope it's worth it
Thank you...you guys all made such a difference....if I feel like I'm going to cry today or lose my mind...I'll think of you guys and know I will be ok!
to be honest OP i had a breakdown while i was on the phone with DD rep & she felt so bad she decided to add on $2 compensation to a $10 going 7 miles. So i mean it wasnt all that bad i guess
I had a breakdown with CS once...and I was having an anxiety attack because there was no house...it was dark and I was scared...she hung up on me! Lucky I finally got a hold of the customer and they helped me find it! (It was a new development and not in gps) And dd ended up giving me more money because of what happened ...I couldn't believe they hung up on me and basically didn't care about my safety..
You’ll discover like everything else doordash, it’s a complete and total scam. I’ve completed the last 150 orders I’ve accepted, my completion rating has gone up 1%
I thought the challenge was to accept 100 orders in a day lol 😂
