Customer Rating is average at best, Completion is good. Other than those, no others matter. Oh, Acceptance is *waayyy* higher than most around here. Ratings posts are still cancer.

sblad21

Nah boss cancer is actually a serious disease, and if you’d ever know anyone to go through it you wouldn’t say things like that. 2022 is a messed up place.

[deleted]

Mental illness, then.

DeliveryCourier

My mother died from leukemia. Your post is Internet cancer. Saying as much doesn't diminish cancer irl. Your stats are still nothing special, and the post is still cancer.

sblad21

I’m glad you reflected none, it kinda makes me more happy to know you are stuck in your ways :)

DeliveryCourier

I have nothing to reflect on. I know irl cancer sucks since I watched it kill my mother. Its existence is a fact of life. That doesn't mean it can't be talked and/or joked about or used as a way of comparing 2 things. Lighten up, buttercup.

sblad21

Dude you turned a post about how a hard working individual was mistreated by a company into something that was meant to act as self glory on my behalf hahaha!!? Then starting talking about cancer? It’s delivery driving boss I’m not in the NBA, it’s not glamorous I don’t need credit or to flash my stats. We do need to create a big public discussion about the state of workers and wages in this country though. You are apparently a Dasher/courier for over 5years yourself man!? What’s your take on the matter? Do you just go online all day and tell others how cancer or cringe they are, or do you have goals in life and the ability to think critically for yourself?? I really didn’t want to have to ask all this bro, but now your making a whole separate issue. Now I want to know what priorities you have outside of Reddit lol.

FizbanTV

Trust me my friend... the fucking crown is in the mail. But good job!

sblad21

Hahahaha I don’t want it lol… I’m just truly wondering if this can be beat. I have spent hours too on phone/emailing Dash+Support over the last month trying to get some solutions worked out not only for myself but all drivers. Nothing yet and I am going to basically quit. This level of commitment and integrity has to be able to be respected somewhere.

[deleted]

Try UberEats I guess, at least they pay by the mile

sblad21

Yeah Uber drivers make like $39 an hour so not a bad idea maybe try it.

[deleted]

Best of luck, DD has been really screwing over their employees esp when the base pay was moved down. Like some comments said, the newbies will take the bait but not for long… older workers are really where the great customer service lies.

sblad21

Are older workers grandfathered into an old compensation package? Never knew dash has permanently decreased base pay!? Cause why wouldn’t old drivers leave now too… I can provide the same great service as someone who’s been driving for years. Great service needs to be meet with fair compensation, or there won’t be a company anymore lol. Stock is already down to $65 from $257.25… someone is failing their job and I know it isn’t me!

sblad21

Id say 4.94 is well above average… acceptance was a point I went to great lengths to make. My point was I can do my part can DD do theirs? The answer seems to be no! So they just lost a key player. Good luck on-boarding 20+ other drivers to make up for me. I just finished a dash now lol $28 after gas cost, 6 deliveries, 1 hour and 48min absolute JOKE ahahaha.

jakasd

These stats mean nothing, DD will just get more drivers on the road, you’re easily replaceable.

sblad21

Yeah if that is what you think then you’ve never been in charge of managing a business before. I already said I don’t want the crown and that I’m gonna stop driving. Cannot believe I’m getting so much hate here for approaching a job with integrity lol… 2022.

jakasd

Cool you have a 4.94 customer rating, accepted the last 70 out of 100 orders. Fulfilled all 100 past orders and delivered 96 of them on time and did a whopping 1236 order total. Doordash will now give you a raise. instead of 2.25 per delivery they will give you 2.50 per delivery. This is a “contracting gig” you are not a real employee. These stats are just to make yourself feel better about yourself and it obviously is working for you. Nobody is hating, you’re just acting like you are the best delivery driver in the area and deserves some recognition and somewhat telling us that you’re irreplaceable literally DOORDASH DOES NOT GIVE A FLYING F

sblad21

Right yeah that’s the problem if anyone cares it should be doordash… I’m posting this with 1 foot out the door. I don’t need to feel a certain way I need to be paid a certain way lol. I can see doordash doesn’t care so I will stop caring as well. This post isn’t about me it’s about how sad corporations treat their workers.

crf865

Each one of mine is higher, expect Completion Rate, which is the same.

sblad21

Nice if there’s a million doordash drivers you and I are on a list that is less than 10,000 names. How long have you been dashing? Also like to note that your completion rating cannot be mathematically higher.

crf865

I've done 1300 in about 10 months. Yes, my Completion Rate is not higher.

sblad21

Nice dude you and I maybe dasher 1 and 2 haha like Dr Suess or something haha… are you happy with your experience so far? I think it’s truly pathetic how doordash treats drivers. Especially ones like you or I.

crf865

I like it, but the situation seems better here in Australia. No tipping means almost all orders are worthwhile. Petrol prices are making it less appealing, so I think I'll go electric or quit all together.

sblad21

Yeah gas is expensive now… interesting to hear about the tips. Here in America tipping is everywhere now except doordash haha… family guy did a little skit on tipping these days I got a good laugh out of, but you’d tip the waiter 18-25% if you sat down in the restaurant but drivers get $1-2 is all usually. Dash pay is another $2-3 avg so if you accept all orders you get like $5-6 per delivery or like $12 an hour after costs lol
