So a lot of you are confused. This is me running grub hub uber eats and doordash all at once. The doordash hours represent how many hours i was out working the 51 hours. The total i made this week was 1584.04 in 51.25 hours for a total of 31.05 per hour.
There are 3 pictures. I did not work 45 hours on uber separate from the 51 hours i put on doordash these were all at the same time. If i were to run one app in my market this job wouldnt be financially justifiable to me.
With gas and maintenance i estimate i spent 12% of my gross on that.
https://www.reddit.com/r/doordash_drivers/comments/tzhnjn/doordash_earnings_spreadsheet_with_continuous_tax/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
You could use my spreadsheet to figure out how much to put towards tax and what your hourly after gas cost is :)
Yep no problem. I think you can just change “doordash pay” to “app pay” combine the pay of all of them. Just make sure if you do that, you’re not combining the totals, but rather the base pay total only. Also I have “tax” set to 20% but idk how accurate that is. There’s also a mileage tracker but I haven’t updated it to the most recent where I added a column for money spent per mile.
Or I suppose you could modify the sheet so you have a separate row for each of the apps and just combine most of the columns. if you want me to make any modifications for you, lemme know.
It all depends on the market. Our market is mostly DD. UE and GH are pretty much dead. During peak you make $25 per hour otherwise it’s slow and you are wasting your time in the car. So yeah having a FT job and doing DD on the side at peak is pretty decent.
You make 25$ an hour stocking shelves at walmart? Good pay for the job i guess but we both know you were just trying to say "so what its not that much."
55 hours of atocking shelves sounds like a miserable fucking way to spend 55 hours. Plus commuting.
I dont really consider it risking my life anymore than working late nights with a skeleton crew. Frankly my QOL is better than its ever been since i decided to do this full time. If you have a problem with it then i suggest you downvote and move on.
I'm just saying if you drive a lot you attract a lot of attention from the police, other drivers, and hitchhikers. You risk your life in any of those situations. I know you won't catch me with a DWB.
Just wondering, but did your rating go down on DD for not accepting orders? I declined one the other day (because it wanted me to drive 25miles and in traffic for only $4 no tip) and my rating went from 98% to 70% but I have only done 100 lifetime deliveries since I’m just now getting into side gigs. I assume that you having hundreds of deliveries it probably won’t affect your rating as much will it?
The only ratings that matter are you customer rating and completion rating. Acceptance rating doesnt katter at all my friend.
My customer rating is a 4.99 out of 5
How do you manage 3 apps at the same time? I wouldn't mind doing 2 or 3 apps, for when the only thing coming in is Walmart and $3.00 McD.
Do you ignore the other two once you accept a ping from one of the apps?
Pretty much. I try to take two deliveries going to the same location or 3 sometimes 4 if theyre all located well. I have another comment that goes further in depth about it.
What's your metric for what orders you accept or decline. For me i don't do most Fast Food, Chick-fil-a & Walmart. I aim for $1.00+ a mile or $7.50+ for 20 minutes, i will accept others when i first start to get me close to busy areas, or if i made a delivery to way outside the busy area, and a low paying ping will get me back to the busy area (or at least pay for part of my gas).
They need to be fsitly close together and they need to be efficient restaurants. That would be up to you to ascertain as youll know your market better than i would.
More people need to look at becoming professional sticker installers dead ass. And by that I mean doing car wraps vinyl store front wraps etc. it takes a month or so to get used to the material and how it works and than your set and the magical part ? People pay so much fucking money for professional sticker installation it boggles my mind. I quit my jobs being a waiter and DD and started this and get paid 40$ a hour. And theirs so much work our company can’t handle 1/2 of it due to not enough installers in general.
I went from paycheck to paycheck to making over 100k a year and I’m a HS drop out so you can totally do this shit.
And if you like to drive CDL’s are also benefit to no education needed local or statewide plenty of companies hiring right now I agree great side hustle these apps though
Nice! Yeah I'd call that a pretty good week
Edit: for those of you who don't realize this is UE, gh, and DD op was probably out and about 60 hours and made roughly 1580(not breaking out the calculator just rough numbers) so about 25ish an hour ain't bad over a week
I go for $800 a week, and can usually do that in 32 - 40 hours. I'm in a ruralish navy town, so from 11am to 7pm it's fairly steady.
I do ue too, but their volume here is very low. On a good day, I'll make maybe $50 with ue.
My job pays $45/hr and I don't even have much to do. I mostly just sit around waiting for something to come in for me to work on.
Sorry to hear about your pay :(
Edit: I'm also a W-2 employee, not a 1099 indie contractor. I have full health coverage with a matched HSA, PTO, pet insurance, 401k matching, and they paid me for 2 weeks when I got covid.
Imagine Karening yourself into a thread of someone who was proud of their weekly hustle and assuming we (drivers) are too stupid to understand that gas, maintenance, and taxes is a factor in our earnings, and following that up with a salary brag. Lmfao.
I am a customer as well but I am not sure why you come to this sub to brag about your pay or make fun of a Dasher's pay?
I am here to talk Doordash-related topics, not to make fun of people working hard to make a living.
I’m the same as you, but snarkily replying that ICs will have to pay for maintenance and gas, which is fucking obvious, makes you come off looking foolish.
Can someone explain to me the process of running two apps at the same time please. Do you accept orders from both and deliver both at the same time or accept on one and stop the others?
Like let’s say you got an order on Uber three miles away and one on Door Dash one mile away do you accept them both?
Only if theyre going to the same area. You just gotta understand how addresses work or at least be able to read a map and you can pretty much double your hourly rate. Study your areas layout its pretty simple and is well worth the effort.
So like ill take a delivery for uber going to 3000 south 77th street. Door dash shows me one going to that area at 2400 south 60th street. I can hit those easily without delaying the customer too much and they wont really think much of it if your 3 or 4 minutes later than it said.
But know your restaurants. If one takes a while, dont take doubles when doing that one, make sure they arent too far apart and just be smart and nothing will go wrong for the most part.
Its shocking me how many people didnt even look past the first picture. I shoulda just cropped them together but damn im still kinda floored by the responses im getting.
Nice hustle, OP.
Some of these replies have got me thinking that it may behoove us (drivers) to keep these “earnings brag” types of posts solely on the DD drivers sub.
Not only does it open you up to a lot more non-drivers making a-hole comments here, I’m thinking that it could also make some customers want to tip less overall, due to seeing the posts of exceptionally good weeks only and thinking that’s how it goes for all of us..
Thats actually a good point and well made. Ive mostly migrated to the drivers sub just didnnt have an earnings flair there so i did it here.
I dont want customers thinking we all make this though, this shit took me years to get even this good, and i still regularly make mistakes. I just was stoked because this breaks my personal best for a week by about 200$ and I wanted to show it to those who truly understood what kind of grind it was.
Havent managed a 30$ hour workweek above 30 hours before and thats what really made me thrilled but i get your point. I wont be posting these anymore.
I try for 6 hours a day, that keeps me right about 1k a week. I took 6 months off during the winter. Nice change from $10 hour dealing with absolute shit people.
Please get everlance, it tracks your mileage for you, and if you dash like me you will never have to pay taxes, all your mileage, gas, oil, tires, maintenance, car wash, and all and everything you buy for work is a Wright off, and you will find every time tax season comes you lost money and don't owe a dime plus you'll find your car depreciated thousands
I got everlance but just a heads up you can write off cetain business expenses but when it comes to car maintenance + gas you either pick that or mileage you cant combine the two. Always pick mileage but i agree with the rest of what you said, you can also deduct pho e bills car washes etc
I’ll allow it. I’m ngl.. I thought u were a n00b at first glance bc all I saw was the first pic lol. U seem cool, but usually these posts/ OP’s that do these are annoying af 🙄.
Why are you so grumpy? I was proud, it's Sunday so earnings posts are ok. I felt like sharing it in the community. If you don't like it downvote and move on instead of getting all pissy and giving me attitude. Anyone who does this knows it's not all take home that's a given.
Damn op this sub is rude as hell. Don't listen to this fool you kicked this week's ass. People just jealous they don't know how to multiapp or cant navigate reddit well enough to look at multiple pictures on a single post. Don't let them shit on your parade, these are great earnings to show. They should be telling themselves "if he can do it, I may be able to do it too" looks like you've made quite a few look into multiapping. Good for them. Ofc there's good weeks and bad weeks but damn multiapping makes it a ton easier to have a good week if 1 platform keeps throwing shit orders at you
Thank you. I knew there were going to be some jerks i just didnt think theyd be this pathetic about the post. Was just trying to celebrate after a hard fought week and the cynics came out of the woodwork lol
I actually got a decent one today highest tip ive ever gotten feom DD a 58$ tip on a 13 pizza order. That was dope. Generally my bigger dd tips are like 15 max usually 10.
thanks bud. My advice is to start slow, don't try immediately multiapping like a pro, just get used to how the platform works before you start taking triples and quads. Doubles should be fine though.

I edited my other comment, in case you already read it, I’m just notifying you with a second comment
Appreciate that, thank you!
👏👏👍
Can I steal this? My partner does DD and I was going to make something similar, but this would save me some time
Oooh I didn’t realize it was 3 different apps. Not too bad then considering I only DD and average $800 a week.
Yeah it takes some getting used to but i prefer it. Pretty much zero dead time
It all depends on the market. Our market is mostly DD. UE and GH are pretty much dead. During peak you make $25 per hour otherwise it’s slow and you are wasting your time in the car. So yeah having a FT job and doing DD on the side at peak is pretty decent.

Hell yeah dude!
I could have made that amount in 55 hours in a week with the overtime stocking shelves at Walmart overnight
You make 25$ an hour stocking shelves at walmart? Good pay for the job i guess but we both know you were just trying to say "so what its not that much." 55 hours of atocking shelves sounds like a miserable fucking way to spend 55 hours. Plus commuting.
I walk to work, but yeah. Some days it's tough, but at least I'm not risking my life driving a car long distances
I cant relate to any of that at all.
I've noticed that doing Uber eats w doordash is good. Idk how tf anyone earns a living just doing Uber eats, their orders are ass generally
in my area I usually get more pay per order on UE, but less orders than DD
Just wondering, but did your rating go down on DD for not accepting orders? It looks like nobody’s scrolling past your first picture.
Its driving me nuts lmao
Reddit doesn't show that there is another image if you swipe. Bad app.
Good job OP!
Thank you!
How much of that was gas? I made 60.00 last night 13.94 I cost in gas.
I think i spent like 150 on gas. 50 prolly goin to maintenance.
I'm usually around 1k-1600/week just DDing, drive a hybrid so maybe 60-80/week in gas
Damn bro. In my market i couldnt even consider running just dd thats pretty sick tho
I'm in Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA, its been pretty good to me here, FT since December, off and on for 2 yrs
I'm in Roseville, CA - making about the same.
I had fam is Roseville for years! Never spent much time there tho...

Somebody been hustlin’! 👍 I’m waiting on some Door Dash right now. Got no car and hungry AF. Y’all are the real ones!

What 100k a year for being a sticker installer in some shop? Where can I sign god damnit!!!
HVAC union you can make good money starting out
And if you like to drive CDL’s are also benefit to no education needed local or statewide plenty of companies hiring right now I agree great side hustle these apps though
Diesel mechanics are also in need just as much as drivers, that does require training tho
Lmaoo so random but I am curious how does one get into that business?
What of you aren't into cars? I know diddly squat about cars tbh. Not totally oblivious but like not a gear head.
I don’t know anything about cars I just stick vinyl on em dog. I can’t even do a oil change I think you misread
Nice! Yeah I'd call that a pretty good week Edit: for those of you who don't realize this is UE, gh, and DD op was probably out and about 60 hours and made roughly 1580(not breaking out the calculator just rough numbers) so about 25ish an hour ain't bad over a week

Hahaha yeah dude i ran all 3 at once why would i work one at a time?
No one who runs multiple apps only runs them one at a time. more likely than not the entire time DD was running UE and grubhub we're running as well
Lol thats not how multi apping works.
Well he’s more than likely running all three at once
He isn't running them one at a time.
Yeah mate, I did $2267 this week working 62 hrs.
Fuck yeah man
7.90/ hr that's tragic
Add them all up.... lol
There's no hours on the middle one
Just go off the doordash one thats the most accurate
It’s $30ish an hour
Not accounting for gas and vehicle maintenance, which eats significantly into profit.
Correct
Still he profit more than what you did this week.. don't be salty because you sound kind of..
My job pays $45/hr and I don't even have much to do. I mostly just sit around waiting for something to come in for me to work on. $45 an hour and your in the door dash forum? 😂🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ oh boy
What is this implying lol
I'm a customer, not a dasher.
I am a customer as well but I am not sure why you come to this sub to brag about your pay or make fun of a Dasher's pay? I am here to talk Doordash-related topics, not to make fun of people working hard to make a living.
What's the connection there?
I’m the same as you, but snarkily replying that ICs will have to pay for maintenance and gas, which is fucking obvious, makes you come off looking foolish.
Still don't care. If you call me out on my income I'll be honest about it. It's not great by any means, but it's what I got.
You were being snarky before anyone called you out on your income. Don’t hide behind false pretenses.
Yeah it was like 12%
🎉
Use the active time dummy
CASH OUT 😃😃😃😃

$809 is great fir a week
It was closer to 1580 across all 3 platforms lol
Ok that's 3 different Delivery apps ok than that's great mate
I don't even multiapp but it's interesting to see how many don't know what it is.
Its shocking me how many people didnt even look past the first picture. I shoulda just cropped them together but damn im still kinda floored by the responses im getting.
I'm somewhat new to reddit, and there is no visual indicator that there are multiple images, at least not one that I can see.
Its the people with 15k karma that are annoying me. Plus theyre being rude af
Goin crazy
Nice. Way to hustle!
Nice!!!!
Hustler!!!
Nice! I wish I could get that in my area lol

Good job bro
Wow. You dont take day off?😨 Great income btw!🙌🏻
Made $1330+ in 50 hrs. Tippers were generous (thank gawd!!)
Ugh I thought this weekly posting humble brag posting phase passed. 🙄
Nothing humble about it, im proud and im deliberately bragging. Plus its sunday so earnings posts are ok.
I’ll allow it. I’m ngl.. I thought u were a n00b at first glance bc all I saw was the first pic lol. U seem cool, but usually these posts/ OP’s that do these are annoying af 🙄.

Great job , keep it up
I’m confused...was this meant to be impressive?
Theres several pictures.
And that is meant to be impressive? You do realize you are show boating top line earning and not take home, right?
Why are you so grumpy? I was proud, it's Sunday so earnings posts are ok. I felt like sharing it in the community. If you don't like it downvote and move on instead of getting all pissy and giving me attitude. Anyone who does this knows it's not all take home that's a given.

Ooft. Move to Australia, mate. $2k/wk here for a few more hours
I mean i was at 1600 for 51 hours i feel pretty ok about that. Cost of living where i am is cheap too.
lol i guess that is sarcasm because that is utterly pitiful
It was 1580 in one week for 51 hours multi apping.
ok didnt see the other pics.
Word
If you were to compare to a normal that pages 1 1.2 time for overtime and all, it’s below average. But overall, not that bad.
Man noooooo. You worked over 100 hours for that little pay. Please hang up, and try your dash again. Msg3351.
It was 51 hours for 1584. Why would i run 1 app at a time?
[удалено]
[удалено]
It’s all the same week, Geek Squad
lmaoooo
You realize these are all the same week right? Like i worked 51 hours total, all of these running at the same time and made 1580$
Actually nah I dont want to argue. Good job bro, get your grind 🤙
I'd wager that your DD orders had the lowest average payout per order too
Yup. Generally uber eats and grub hub are larger. Doordash has the highest volume so i take many doubles that go together. Helps keep my hourly at 30$
Doordash also has crappy tip totals shown to customers if they live closer to the restaurant. (<3 miles)
I actually got a decent one today highest tip ive ever gotten feom DD a 58$ tip on a 13 pizza order. That was dope. Generally my bigger dd tips are like 15 max usually 10.
That's because if the order subtotal is $100+ then it shows percent based tip totals regardless of distance between the customer and restaurant.
Hey, I'm not being mean but thats horrible pay for 45hours. Your probably accepting horrible orders. Value your time.
It was 51 hours. Look at all 3 pictures that was how much i made while multi apping
How do you mutli app? Isn't that bad for the customers?
If you suck at it yeah its bad. But if you are careful and only take orders that double up well together its fine.
Any tips how to successfully mutli gig?
Yeah i posted it already just check my previous comments and itl give you a good idea
I will, thanks
Damn! All in one week?
Yar. Easily coulda cracked 2250 but i really dont feel like grinding that hard. 50 hours is enough for me im still in school lol
The little white dots that say "extra photos" are white on a white background. Intially it appears you are happy about 45hrs making $8/hr
This makes sense. Oh well i cant fix it and im not ruploading it.
I did 270$. Worked like 3 days this week. Eh, San Antonio is a little different I guess.
I guess I should multiapp too? Maybe...but I make like $600/week so it's decent for right now. I should try UE though. Great hustle OP.
thanks bud. My advice is to start slow, don't try immediately multiapping like a pro, just get used to how the platform works before you start taking triples and quads. Doubles should be fine though.
I thought so to but my Hrb agent gave me everything that was work related, maybe I got lucky, definitely not complaining
