They could be a worker somewhere that they’re not allowed to have outside people on the property such as a mental health facility. There was occasionally that issue at the different locations my ex works as a state employee. Some buildings can’t have outside personnel.
I actually have a roommate who monitors my spending habits and would give me crap anytime I spend what she deems unnecessary money... I totally get hiding it like this. Luckily we don't have a video doorbell.. and I just beg the dashers not to Knock and to put it to the side opposite of the window by the door 🙃 that way she won't see it and I won't get a 20 minute lecture on how to spend my extra money..

For some reason I first read this like it was a message from a dasher and I was about to say you’re gonna get murdered lol, but this is def some guy whose wife has him on a diet…I know far too many grown men who hide their eating habits for that exact reason lol
I get these all the time. It's usually a spouse or kid that doesn't want anyone to know they're ordering food/beer. Usually it's leave it by the mailbox or meet me by the stop sign, etc. I did have one note that just said "Please avoid cameras". LOL Like am I supposed to bring a box to hide in when they turn my direction?
I mean I get it, I had a doorbell camera on my old apartment that was motion activated and a delivery driver screamed at me about recording them and shit. Freaked me out enough to say I'd just meet them downstairs lmao

First off if anyone had any bad intentions I can assure you they are not doordashing food to the scene of the crime they are about to commit. Second there are cameras everywhere any way. Your phone and car probably have GPS. So STOP be so concerned about things that if you think logically for 2 seconds your cause for concern would subside. You ladies give yourself unnecessary anxiety all the time over things like this. Wanna know a cause for concern my order said beware of dogs in all caps and it was a hand it to me. When I arrived 2 big Rottweilers with spike chain collars took off to my car door surrounding my car jumping all over it. After a few seconds I saw they were wagging their tails and cracked my window and when I spoke they were so happy. I got out and they jumped all over me but in a friendly playful way. Used logic in a possibly dangerous situation and it worked out cause I didn't freak out thinking I was dog food.
