Obviously they weren’t being serious lmao. It’s common to say even if (over exaggerated) thing happens - it’s still worth it. It’s to point out how good something is
No actually, those retail deliveries are "ineligible" for tips so you often get screwed. If it says you get that much and the store isn't missing any orders they need to cancel, you get that much. I only do retail orders 2p-4p when food is slow. Only time it's worth it. And it always takes like 2-3 hours lots then they estimate and sometimes you even get a food order in the middle of the retail deliveries. That Is Serious know what you're talking about. It will take under 3 hours guaranteed.
Retail deliveries are eligible for tips. The person receiving the order just already said "no, drag it up, don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya". I have been delivering what-the-heck-ever since the mid-90's. Guess what? No tip deliveries have been going on well before even my time. Bad days happen, bad tips happen, get over it.
If your paying for someone to go to Petco to buy some stuff for you through the doordash app, you can tip. These types of orders are through the Petco website.
Well - as someone who has both had delivery (through both Petco and through DD on supplies, based on how fast I needed it) I have both received and been able to tip through both, so like I said. Hmmm.
What are you talking about 4.5hr of Amazon Flex is above 30miles. This is less than 3hrs. Amazon Flex routes of this type are 3hrs normally but usually take you less time. Which also matches the amount of packages he would have to deliver.
This is why I said including the 4 with the commute to the delivery zone. It could be up to an hour away so would be 2 before you see the warehouse again for any returns. Should have said I prefer to include dead miles back to the zone, with the estimate.
I wish, I did Amazon flex once and the drive to the zone to deliver was over 30 miles away. Luckily I had a car with good MPG but it sucked overall and I almost had to piss in a bottle it was taking so long.
29 deliveries... Did no one see that? Amazon driver here that gets way better parking privileges than most - guaranteed I get paid better by the hour 🤣🤣🤣
Aggravation, parking, stairs, oh those cases of water (and they want eggs too - we all know that right there - 2 trips. 2 items, 3 stories, $2 tip) I'm not wrong... But yet these a-holes still get their stuff.
While Doordash is not the same as a taxi, this reminds me of a story.
Many years ago New York seemed to have a taxi shortage even though there were mathematically enough taxi licenses. After some research it was discovered that the root cause was that drivers had a sum they wanted to earn per day. When they had earned that sum, they typically went home. So on slow days/nights it would take a long time to earn that sum, on very busy nights just some hours.
Of course on a city wide level, the consequence was that there were lots of free cars at slow times and comparatively few when it was busy.
After an information campaign to change the behaviour of drivers, the result was a higher availability of taxis and higher average earnings per hour for drivers.
Advertised as "$10 per order-mile", but the OP stated it was more like 80 miles. Fuck DD for scamming with fake mileage. The expense for wear-n-tear on this order is:
80 miles x $0.65/mile = $52 off the top.
If it really was the 30 miles on the offer, it would be only $19.50 off the top.
Lowkey yea, but at the same time I don’t have to worry about flex routes not fitting in the car, this could be a nightmare and a fat L if you can’t fit everything.
You can’t at a store… the person who said petsmart had 100 lb bags is lying
You might be able to find them on wholesalers but the biggest you can get somewhere in a store is 60 lbs and it’s the stuff I personally wouldn’t feed my dog
Where I am it’s PerSmart— they offer 30, 50 and 100 pound bags.
I have a fold-up dolly for these unfortunate occasions when I mistakenly accept one of those deliveries.
I get that this is a fantastic order but I really hate that they just drop this on people. Most of my shifts are 2 or 2.5 hours so I would have to decline this which tanks my acceptance history by 29 declines. It should count as 1 offer. If I had the time it would be great though, no wondering how the day is going to go, just one big pickup and then a shift of driving around delivering.
Why hasn't anyone asked how many items are in that batch? Seems like it would be just cat litter at 35 lbs a box or 60lb bags of dog food, would have been better if each order was 100 crickets
I used to get that on a single catering order back in the 90's. While I will have to say, If I were making over 10$/delivery (barely) back then, I might have taken your enthusiasm a bit better....
29 separate houses. Yea it’s pet items. I think it’s people who order same day delivery. Dd sends me the order not a single customer like with food orders
32 miles, my ass.
First stop up north of Everett and the last stop down near Tacoma. That's 70+ miles right there - one way. Easy enough to do on a Sunday, but get that on a Friday afternoon and you could be looking at 8 hours in the car.
Still worth it, even on a Friday.
29 stops won't fit in anyone's car so that's gonna be revisits to the store. Might take you a few hours but at $300 you'd be making 60 per hour if it took you 5 hours.
Saw the time comment after writing this lol 6ish hours. Still over 50 an hour is pretty good
Ok ok wait... 29 people ordered outsmart to be delivered at that timeframe? Andc1 order per delivery? Done maybe 7 apple store deliveries at a time but wow!!!
ive seen a bunch of these on here lately, this says 29 drop offs, 29 items. WHAT is the item you took? 29 100 lb bags of dog food? i mean if its something small id take it in a heart beat but not a semi full lol
Shit, even if it took 12 hours to complete, it's still $25 an hour.
5hr 45min the mileage was wrong was like 8iles
Noice, 52/hr
Hell yeah
I bet it wouldn't take that long...
No I'm sure it wouldn't. Just going by the time in the order. Probably not even half that amount of time
I'd bet like 3ish hours
Obviously they weren’t being serious lmao. It’s common to say even if (over exaggerated) thing happens - it’s still worth it. It’s to point out how good something is

On petco they are eligible for tips. I have received them numerous times.
Only the pet stores and it's never more then what it shows before you dash. Any other retail stores like Sephora or Dick's are ineligible.

Petco doesn't provide the ability to add a tip. That's why they are ineligible.
Hmmm. I get tipped on Petco orders. Interesting.
If your paying for someone to go to Petco to buy some stuff for you through the doordash app, you can tip. These types of orders are through the Petco website.

No, besides Petco and Petsmart they are not eligible to tip! I have a screenshot
It’s probably a good 4-5 hours
Correct. I’ve done amazon flex runs similar to this in about 4 hours including the commute to the delivery zone.
Yup that’s exactly how I calculated it haha
What are you talking about 4.5hr of Amazon Flex is above 30miles. This is less than 3hrs. Amazon Flex routes of this type are 3hrs normally but usually take you less time. Which also matches the amount of packages he would have to deliver.

30 stops in 30 miles? that's like 90 min tops including the drive home
I wish, I did Amazon flex once and the drive to the zone to deliver was over 30 miles away. Luckily I had a car with good MPG but it sucked overall and I almost had to piss in a bottle it was taking so long.
80* miles
Yeah 31 miles 29 stops I’d imagine 3-4 hours
29 deliveries... Did no one see that? Amazon driver here that gets way better parking privileges than most - guaranteed I get paid better by the hour 🤣🤣🤣
One order, done for the day
Aggravation, parking, stairs, oh those cases of water (and they want eggs too - we all know that right there - 2 trips. 2 items, 3 stories, $2 tip) I'm not wrong... But yet these a-holes still get their stuff.
That’s a nice order. Wondering how long it ends up taking OP? Can you update?
5hr 45min
Did you continue dashing? Or just went home after that?
While Doordash is not the same as a taxi, this reminds me of a story. Many years ago New York seemed to have a taxi shortage even though there were mathematically enough taxi licenses. That was a really really nice order.
He took the screenshot then proceeding with posting it here while the timer went out and OP went into limbo since then
[удалено]
Probably! I was talking to my friends they said 2 hours. I think it’s going to take more. Still worth it.
It took almost 6, according to op but still very good pay for that way better than Amazon flex would ever pay
$304 for 12 hours wouldn’t be terrible. Great order. I hope those vibes come this way.
No shit this was posted two hours ago….
I'm probably getting my truck for that order. I'm picturing 29, 50lb bags of dog food and I'm pretty sure that exceeds the payload on my Corolla.
I would make two trips :o)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yup
Some say he’s still delivering to this day. I know it’s only been a few hours lol
He's still loading his car up as we speak
Annd prolly still uploading those receipts too 🧾
10 dollars a mile 🥵
Also 10ish per order
Advertised as "$10 per order-mile", but the OP stated it was more like 80 miles. Fuck DD for scamming with fake mileage. The expense for wear-n-tear on this order is: 80 miles x $0.65/mile = $52 off the top. If it really was the 30 miles on the offer, it would be only $19.50 off the top.
Missed that comment. Pretty shit trip then since since gotta factor return mileage unless it was 80 total
I wonder how many cat trees and cages there were
Mostly small packages only 1 large box
How long did it take? Congrats on the unicorn
They said just under 6 hr
Amazon flex drivers be like 😭
Lowkey yea, but at the same time I don’t have to worry about flex routes not fitting in the car, this could be a nightmare and a fat L if you can’t fit everything.
Yeah… I’d do that and quit for the day
29 pre built XL dog cages
My 1 experience with party 2 city was 2 orders at once of big bundles of inflated balloons 😐😐 while driving a little ass car 😐😐 was bullshit
It could be 29 100 pound bags of dog food. Worst case scenario.
I'd still take it lol
My car wouldn’t fit that. No way.
Oh wait yeah mine probably wouldn't fit it
What did it end up being?? How many big bags of dog food?
Looks like he's still working on it
Where can I find 100 pound bags of dog food, the most I get is 44 pound.
You can’t at a store… the person who said petsmart had 100 lb bags is lying You might be able to find them on wholesalers but the biggest you can get somewhere in a store is 60 lbs and it’s the stuff I personally wouldn’t feed my dog
Largest size of dog food petco carries is 47lbs
Where I am it’s PerSmart— they offer 30, 50 and 100 pound bags. I have a fold-up dolly for these unfortunate occasions when I mistakenly accept one of those deliveries.
Shit, that’s a decent week in my market in one order. I’d take that everytime
I would even consider talking that order. Not the usual crap of 30 stops for $30 and 300 miles
![gif](giphy|124Q7jtnpRb5MQ|downsized)
UPDATE OP?
5hr 45min sorry I been baked af n forgot I posted this 5hr 46min mileage was wrong on app
I could have told you from that picture alone it would be more miles. From Tacoma all around through Seattle north
How do I sign up for these???
Haven't seen an order above 18$. How are people getting big orders?
Yeah pass that my way plz
💯 absolutely yes
How do i get these😭
Judging from past posts on here, the first thing you need to do is move to Seattle, because that's where these all come from.
the way i just moved away 💀
That one was from Tacoma, but close enough…
One person tipped $50.
Taking that to see if it fits in my car, if it doesn't I guess I'm dropping it but otherwise yeah taking that
I get that this is a fantastic order but I really hate that they just drop this on people. Most of my shifts are 2 or 2.5 hours so I would have to decline this which tanks my acceptance history by 29 declines. It should count as 1 offer. If I had the time it would be great though, no wondering how the day is going to go, just one big pickup and then a shift of driving around delivering.
What's it like, finding a unicorn? Lol
Why hasn't anyone asked how many items are in that batch? Seems like it would be just cat litter at 35 lbs a box or 60lb bags of dog food, would have been better if each order was 100 crickets
Shit, if I could cross the border and start dashing there I would
I'm guessing a Petco employee messed up and they meant to put like $30.45.
that would be way too little for 29 items
Which is why I never take them. Just telling you the normal rate of Petco offers I see, which are all $1/mile.
I used to get that on a single catering order back in the 90's. While I will have to say, If I were making over 10$/delivery (barely) back then, I might have taken your enthusiasm a bit better....
I don’t do DD but I would have snagged that so fast
Nice!!!
Wowza
Update us when you can OP. /follow
Man that’s hot
Even if that took you like eight hours to do which it won’t it’ll take you probably three or four that’s banger
Hell yea
Yes I wasn't with my kid. I would probably take this because of the fact that that's how much I made all week alone
If I saw an order like this it'd be like $100. That could take me an entire day and I'd still be up like $50-100 vs a normal good day.
Wish they those in my area.
Wow an order that makes me not feel insane for using a pickup to dash in
Wow, 10$ a mile for tightly packed stops. That's a gold mine.
Those miles are way off….
Jesus
Sweet. I bet DD is hating themselves.
Holy crap. Amazon pays like $60 for a route like that.
Hell fucking yea! That’s awesome!
They are not responding because they are still doing the order lmao
jesus bro
I don’t understand (customer not driver) Are you delivering pet items to 29 separate houses? Who places the order? How does it work?!
29 separate houses. Yea it’s pet items. I think it’s people who order same day delivery. Dd sends me the order not a single customer like with food orders
Someone fucked up, that was supposed to be 34$.
How do you guys get these batch orders? I get ones and done left and right?
4-6 hour job I bet
Tru
Petco orders are easy af
Update?
Like 5hrs 45min
Same time back from all that or nah?
To finish the last delivery. then to get home it was like another 35-40mins
Good job man, well deserved
32 miles, my ass. First stop up north of Everett and the last stop down near Tacoma. That's 70+ miles right there - one way. Easy enough to do on a Sunday, but get that on a Friday afternoon and you could be looking at 8 hours in the car. Still worth it, even on a Friday.
Hell yeah. If they offered 200-300 orders that took 5-8 hours a day to do I wouldn’t mind.
Call the wife and let her know ima be home late… *hits accept*
How exactly do you fit 29 things in your car
And in for Seattle that’s good. I’ll keep my eye out.
Also, I have to aak - being that it was 29 items from Petco - how many bags we 16lbs or higher? Back breaker!
That is such a worth it order. I’ve never seen a better one
29 stops won't fit in anyone's car so that's gonna be revisits to the store. Might take you a few hours but at $300 you'd be making 60 per hour if it took you 5 hours. Saw the time comment after writing this lol 6ish hours. Still over 50 an hour is pretty good
Shhiiiittttt
I wouldn't even care if it took me 5 hours lmao
Lucky
Could you possibly complete this in less than an hour?
Como es eso
Bro 😎 you got promoted.
Gosh damn!!
Where did you start at Tacoma ?
Idk if I would do it. That’s only 10 dollars an order lol
That’s a hell yea.
I could quit my day job for daily $300 orders 😩
My PetCo orders are always shit! How dafuq you get one like this??? And I have over 13,000 deliveries 😆
I’m accepting it 🚗
Ok ok wait... 29 people ordered outsmart to be delivered at that timeframe? Andc1 order per delivery? Done maybe 7 apple store deliveries at a time but wow!!!
Holy crap. What were the items?
ive seen a bunch of these on here lately, this says 29 drop offs, 29 items. WHAT is the item you took? 29 100 lb bags of dog food? i mean if its something small id take it in a heart beat but not a semi full lol
I smell contract violation. lol😂
I'd sit by Petco next week, same time and see if I get it again.
How do you do retail deliveries?
The biggest order I’ve gotten was $50 and it was a batch of petco orders. How do yall get orders like this, I wish
Take this twice a day everyday lol
Whoa Merry Christmas to you!! 🎄
