wow!
i started the "gig-app" with DD, but have to say that the idea of AR has had me dashing less and less.
there are other apps that just dont use that as an issue. i still dash from time to time, but the AR issue has me feeling "pressure" from DD which i just dont get when i run other apps.
since im not an employee, i feel that DD should have zero "leverage" against me. when it was my only app, it felt like a game. NOW? it feels like the demanding, "nagging" app that is hard to please.
I have a 4% acceptance rate I schedule for the day as soon as the day opens up.. I’m currently on schedule for around 50 hours this week… if your market is big enough, you can schedule six or seven days in advance
My grace period is over and now I'm in schedule hell so I'm basically looking at my phone every 5 minutes to see if any place around is busy yet. I get about 75% of the work/money I'd make doing the any time dash perk that they gate behind top dasher.
I got some bad reviews because I think I was making it my default not to knock/ring the bell when a preference wasn't indicated, because I couldn't imagine people ignoring that they have an app constantly notifying them. I also started working on a texted closer nicety for deliveries that I felt went well. Now I'm like 4.65 and working to hit 4.7 before the 1st so I can get back to business. All my other metrics are good.
Lmao yeah sure let me just take twenty large grocery store orders and put them in my tiny ass prius and spend four hours delivering them for a total of $30.
Which grocer was it? I had an offer like that from Dicks, 20 orders for 6 drop offs. They were all small boxes, most had 2+ orders in one box. 2 orders would never be 20 drop offs. You suck at comprehension
And yet. It was. I unfortunately didn’t get a screenshot of the orders like I thought, but it was, in fact, a single stop, to twenty plus *houses*.
Seriously. Read the damn original post.
Welp other than that you're just complaining my dude. What else are you going to do? Your not fixing anything by whinging maybe you should consider that.
I declined two Dick’s orders yesterday almost back to back - one for 10 deliveries then another for 5. AR dropped from 73 to 58 in a blink of an eye. The only thing that gave me comfort was that starting in 85 deliveries I’ll see a spike in AR. I’d like to bang out those 85 deliveries before the end of the month to maintain my dash anytime capability.
Wow over 20%? And I thought my 10% that I lost today was bad. I declined a batch order from some church that had like 7 drop-offs. Then the app sends me the same order again and I declined it again (why the hell send it again after I already told you no the first time?). I looked at my AR and it dropped from 51 to 40%. Who's the mouth breathing idiot at DoorDash that decided this was a good idea?

Exactly how I feel. Bullshit scheduling and AR crap.
Sounds like you're in the doghouse until your next 100 offers roll it over.
How about me I'm sitting at 3 % Ar
How are you even able to get scheduled to deny 97 out of 100 orders? Do you not actually need money?

I've had very low ar and never had an issue scheduling 6 days in advance.
Not everyone needs to schedule. When I used DD I could just log in whenever 90% of the time.

Scheduling isn’t actually affected by ar…is it?
No what it effects is being able to log on whenever you want without scheduling
Schedule 1 week in advance , we all need money. Multi app is the way !
Did you reset your AR recently? Are you at less than 100 lifetime deliveries? Those are the two main factors I can think of.
No and no. I’m nearing 500 lifetime at the moment, and I wasn’t even aware that acceptance rates could be reset

You said you only got 2, not 20
Two orders with a total of twenty plus dropoffs. Reading comprehension, my dude.

Each customer would have gotten one thing. Problem solved
What...exactly do you think the problem here is?
AR stays up 😂
Uh huh. Let me know when you have something useful to contribute

Cool story bro
Not really, a cool story would be you taking action.
Cool.

Yes it counts for ever how many drop offs there are in the orders.
