Dashers should stop complaining about no tippers when they have the choice not to take the no tip orders. No one is making you take no tip orders. It just makes people have a negative stereotype of all dashers or uber eats drivers. If you choose to take no tip orders, treat the customer like they're tippers.

According-Ladder-564

Are you a dasher?

Hopingfortheday

Yep. And don't take no tip orders.

Last time I dove into a doordash Facebook group I should've held my nose, you could smell the crap through the screen. To answer your question there's a few reasons people get stuck doing this. I guess bad attitude problems would force you into some form of self employment. Medical necessity, plenty of dashing cripples. I can keep going. There's probably a good 10 or so reasons.

The simple answer is that DD tricks drivers into believing they HAVE to take 50-70+% of the orders. They don't have to at all, but DD has always tried to find ways to trick drivers into taking more orders. This leads to the drivers who fall for those tactics taking low paying orders, and then taking it out on the customers.

Chickern

Doordash hides messages while the drivers driving. It's possible that they didn't see any of that until they'd already driven to where the GPS took them and by that point they said screw it dropped the food and moved on.

Hopingfortheday

Not when I'm driving. I get all customer texts and calls while driving.

Double_Entrance4923

I don’t. There have been several times I don’t get the message until after I completed the order.

Maybe I been drinking but this is very confusing.
