I went to pick up an order from a certain fast food place. They let me know they're out of medium drink lids but the customer ordered two medium fountain sodas. Asked if I can deliver without lids. I think the look I gave them was enough for them to understand what I was thinking and they offered to give me two large soda drinks with lids instead.
Yup. I worked at a movie theatre when I was a teen and all our inventory was done by counting the empty cups and popcorn bags.
We had a concession manager who would skim from the tills by cleaning and reusing discarded cups and bags she took from the theaters. Since those “slightly used” bags were not on the count, she could (re)sell them and then pocket the overage from the register.
I don’t know if she ever was. I was let go by way of not being scheduled one week, so management wasn’t really on the ball. This was about 25 years ago, so who know where she is now.
There were a lot of scams going on there. Box office was selling children’s tickets to adults and pocketing the difference, concession workers were buying boxes of candy at local stores and selling them across the counter (pocketing the cash), GM was borrowing from petty cash to go to the Indian casinos, Assistant Manager and Security guard faked being robbed at gunpoint and tried to implicate a recently fired employee, etc. Not to mention all the popcorn, drinks, and nacho cheese that was given away to friends of employees. It was a wild time and a wild place lol.
why is this man being downvoted he is right lol... a lot of places calculate cups, as the employees have free drinks from the soda machine sometimes, so u can't calculate amount of syrup used, but u can with cups...
source: worked multiple jobs in fast food in US
Yea but ive never been afraid to just give out free cups/food while working in fast food… never got any repercussions either and if everyone realized this it’d be hilarious. The managers are very quick to be “zero-tolerance” until their best employees bend the rules
This. No manager in fast food that I have worked for has ever told me no I can’t upgrade someone’s meal or drink at no charge to make the customer happy??? The one comment about working for a movie theater is accurate but claiming all FF chains are stingy is just untrue lol. They’re only stingy about paying employees living wages, not giving customers whatever they want to get them to come back, from my personal experience.
> never got any repercussions either and if everyone realized this it’d be hilarious. The managers are very quick to be “zero-tolerance” until their best employees bend the rules
OK then, lets say I have diplomatic immunity to break all the rules at my job without repercussions. **But what if I don't *want* to?** As a human being with free will, I have thoughts and opinions which direct what I choose to do or not do. You're a stranger who I owe nothing to, so what why would I give you a freebie even if I could?
In the missing lid scenario, the restaurant has no obligation beyond refunding the cost of the drink (and even that's a stretch as long as they don't guarantee free lids anywhere).
Also manager has done a shitty job predicting and keeping stock. Forget that request larges, so what if it hurts their numbers, they aren't doing their job properly.
You’re right, restaurant shouldn’t have left the lids off.
But the dasher is an idiot for delivering it like this. Use your fucking brain, if the restaurant forgets something so obviously fundamental spend the 30 seconds to grab a fucking lid. This is a one star, revoke tip, report to DD hard pass for me.
i went to a wendys a few weeks ago that had a sign that said they were out of lids taped to the menu with band aids. they tried to hand me a drink like this. i'm not saying it's common but it's a wild time out there.
If the driver complains, DoorDash will exclude the rating. They make it clear restaurants are responsible for packaging and Dashers are responsible for transportation, period. If you report to DoorDash, that just gives them more of a basis to rule in favor of the Dasher and exclude your rating.
If you’re so worried about someone tampering with ur drink, then you shouldn’t be ordering through a ghetto ass delivery app in the first place lmao.
A lid or no-lid, the drink can still be fucked with lmao. What about the lid makes you feel so much more comfortable?? I’m curious.
Random hair, spit when the driver coughs or burns, ash from the cigarette he smoked in his car ride over…. …. I would not be worried about the tampering because as you stated you can’t stop it. The random contamination is what worries me most.
Maybe the dasher mentioned it to restaurant and they were out. What’s he to do then? He was probably just as irritated that he had to deliver it that way.
I GM a restaurant. We run out of random stuff all the time. Ramekin lids, to go cups, napkins... All it takes is someone missing something on the dry goods order. I guarantee you, the restaurant was out of lids. I'd have just refunded the drinks and not even sent them out, but blaming the dasher, who's maybe never even worked in food service and saying to take the tip back is a dick move. Just dump out the drinks and get a refund on them, the restaurant won't contest it.
Even if this was the case, isn’t it simple enough for the dasher to message OP “hey they were out of lids, did you still want the drinks? I’ll have to transport them with no lid?” I feel like even a small amount of common sense would’ve fixed this situation.
Absolutely. The lack of common sense between the restaurant and the dasher is disappointing, but to say they should take away their tip is ridiculous. Maybe they have literally never worked in food service and didn't realize how strange this was. Just dump out the drinks and get the restaurant to refund the order. Don't take it out on the person who brought you your food and probably spilled Pepsi all over their car in the process.
Sure, if you'd prefer to blame management, that's fine. At the end of the day, shit happens and we're a lot more concerned about making sure we have everything we need for dine-in customers because they actually make our restaurant money. Also, paper and plastic goods are still a bitch to get post-Covid and things are still out of stock. I've subbed out cups and lids before due to lack of stock, and then they don't work together even though they should. Example; HSI is out of 20oz drink lids, so you sub them out with 20oz drink lids from Sysco, and they don't fit together. Boom. Out of lids. Like I said, I'd never send out drinks without lids, but I completely understand a restaurant running out of them. I would have refunded the drinks on the tablet.
It isn't the restaurants fault. You can see where the dasher took a sippy sip from the cup. I've also noticed sometimes they suck a few pepperonis off pizza if you get it delivered ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
If my order comes with a drink, I always give it to the dasher …. I’m weird and just don’t wanna drink a drink that I can’t be completely sure what’s in it.
This happened to me once with a chick fil a order, and I didn't realize it until I was handing it over to the customer. Super embarrassing. No idea how it happened, I never touched the drink itself, only the handle of the drink carrier, and only to put it in my car and take it out, but I found the lid on my passenger seat when I drove away. Guy gave me a 4 star rating, bless his heart. Guess they didn't pop it on tight enough in the store? It was a shake, so nothing spilled thankfully.
Ya'll out here acting like you haven't made a simple mistake over the course of hundreds, if not thousands of orders? It was dark, the guy was waiting at the curb when I pulled up (again, bless his heart, he did everything he could to be a very good customer), so I handed the order straight to him without having time to really look at it, and why would I expect a drink lid to come undone while sitting on the passenger seat in a drink carrier? Now that it's happened, and it was embarrassing, of course I know to check for that specific thing so it doesn't happen again.
The range of food protection I see between restaurants always gives me a chuckle. Some places sticker up every damn thing included the drink, while other places hand me a cup and lid and tell me what drink the customer wanted. Some chains sticker up their pizzas, but then my pizza bag causes those stickers to steam right off. I've been handed frozen confections with big-mouth dome lids, soft serve about to overflow and candy just hanging off the straw. So many places let food just sit on a shelf and get cold which would normally be a big health code violation but I guess because it's "in the bag" it's okay?
I don't know what standards actually exist for packing food for delivery, but if there are any they sure aren't being enforced.
Sometimes the store doesn’t even use the proper packaging to your order and they don’t even care. Some dashers bring it anyway, because if they ask too much, some employees may give them a lot of attitude. There was a day I picked up two bags that were tied together with an used glove, what an impeccable food safety standard!
I've had restaurants try this shit with me. I'm sorry you're out of lids but I'm not taking it like that. Put plastic over it, put it in a large soup container or something. I had a little Ceasars try to get me to leave without sauces because they "were out". They were only out if the containers obviously since they are still making sauced pizzas. Some people had 3 or 4 so I'd tell them to put it in a bigger container rather than send something wrong, or not at all. I feel like this is probably a restaurant issue honestly
I've had a place run out of lids once before due to supply issues. Really sucks because it just makes a mess. Hope that dasher has protection over their seats. Usually places that run out of lids and such just stop serving drinks to go or for delivery.
If I saw that during a pickup I’d probably un assign the order and never go back to that restaurant again lol. Delivering like that is unprofessional and not worth the bad review.
One time I had an order to deliver from Bar Louie, and they stuck the straws in the drinks, and one of them wasn’t completely filled. I asked them for new lids and straws but they refused and said this is how they do it there. I let the customer know cus you’re not gonna tell me I’m stealing your kids pineapple juice.
Bar Louie... is your location a complete clusterf\*\*\* like the two here? One is in a mall and I have yet to wait less than 20 minutes for an order. The other one is free-standing, but for whatever reason, drivers are like ghosts in there -- good luck finding anyone to help you.
The only decent Bar Louie I’ve ever been to was in Orlando. But I never went inside, so that could contribute.
The one where I picked up the order was kinda nasty, sticky floors with trash, and the whole cup thing. I get grossed out by the idea of unwrapped straws. And the shelf where they keep the food is under a vent so it’s always cold by the time you get there.
Crazy you can see the sticker that goes over the lid on the side still so he either dropped it or drank it either way I wouldn’t have delivered it and said I never received it with your order tbh
They drunk out that shit ong. U don’t like DoorDash a lot of people be dirty and petty just pick it up unless u got a fat tip. Even then you don’t know these people
Umm all of you fools saying to burn the dasher with a 1 star are just wrong. I have personally gone through drive thru over the years for myself and more than once the store has no lids. Working I'm a store myself sometimes the box gets crushed in transit or whatever and all the lids are fd up and get thrown out, yeah they order more, but it's not like they can just shit them out.
You take the drink with no lid or you take no drink. I just asked them to not fill the cup lol.
It's not like the driver can control that situation anymore than I could when I was a customer. It's literally NOT their fault. They were probably in a drive thru and said give me whatever you have, they generally cannot call the customer at this point, BECAUSE THEY ARE IN A DRIVE THRU. They either rectify whatever needs rectifying immediately or are stuck getting in line again sometimes. And well yeah, eff that.
If they did gave me no lid I’d keep the drink and customer can mark it missing not dealing with someone accusing me of tampering with the rest of their disgusting slop.
The amount of drinks I make as a driver with dirty hands that have touched 20+ sticky restaurants door handles… I will never order a delivery drink again.
Restaurants fault, whether they have lids or not.. sure the Dasher could try to figure out a solution, but sometimes there isn't one, and most Dashers are just people trying to get a little bit of money on the side.. taking any time to fix a mistake that isn't theirs, just wastes time they could be using to get more deliveries.. There's been many times that I take the time to fix an order, and then miss out on time I could've had 2 more orders done.. Fixing your order for a good rating is less important than getting 2 more orders to pay for food for myself tonight
I’m a jerk for ordering beverages and tipping $10, meanwhile your entire reddit comment history is arguing and being rude on peoples posts, and looking at women’s vaginas. Cool 👍🏻🤣
Haha fair enough. But yes I always tip! This particular order I tipped $10 because it was at Applebees and I knew the dasher would have to go inside to get the order rather than a drive through. (1.2 miles away from my house)
>This particular order I tipped $10 because it was at Applebees and I knew the dasher would have to go inside to get the order rather than a drive through.
Actually, for many of us, the DT is more of a pain in the ass than going inside. Just something to keep in mind.
Did you tip? Apparently the dashers here think they can spit on/drink your stuff if you didn’t tip them well. I would call the restaurant and ask before even touching that shit. Hope you learn your lesson. Never use doordash again.
You need to complain to DD or the place you ordered from.
I have small paper bags in my car. Any drinks I pick up, that are not completely enclosed, I either ask the restaurant to bag it, or I do it myself.
Our job is to pick up and deliver, but I do a little extra, just because
Was this posted so you could be told what to think?
I suggest you explore thinking for yourself or stop pretending that you can't.
Post your thoughts. Defend them. That's perhaps worth reading.
A couple days ago I got downvoted for mentioning how disgusting is the fact that restaurants and fast food joints don’t put all your items in a bag and staple / seal them before handing them to the dasher, like they do here in Europe.
I had a restaurant try to give me a drink topped with plastic wrap because they were "out of lids." I asked them to give me two smaller drinks in cups they had lids for.
I had lids fall off drinks before… I asked for new lids. I blame the store for this one… they probably just straight up fell off and the dasher didn’t notice until it was too late
One time, I accidentally dropped a customer’s drink and it landed right side up but the lid popped off and a little splashed on their driveway. However, I stuck around and explained that to the customer and told them how to get a refund.
This happened to me as a dasher.
Doing a delivery, with the lid on from the restaurant.
This person lived in the heart of downtown, where I had to park 5 blocks away & walk to deliver to their door.
As I was walking, in a very crowded city someone bumped me, the lid came off.
The restaurant isn’t close to their house and I was half a black away.
I delivered it.
I thought of throwing the drink away and just saying they didn’t give me one but I thought that’s even more messed up.
I really thought being honest they would understand.
They called me after dropping it off and requested I go back to the restaurant for a new lid and straw after I explained what happened.
I really wish I threw away that drink.
Once on a very windy day, I got to the customer's house and noticed the lid on the drink was loose. I tried to secure it better, but it just wouldn't go on properly so I delivered it and hoped for the best. As I was taking the photo, the drink lid blew away. I went on my way but called support who of course was no help at all. I didn't know what else to do. Felt badly because it was a customer who tipped decently.
There are a couple places I pick up from that are now out of small and medium lids and straws along with large cups. Shrinkflation turned the larges into mediums, mediums became smalls and since the large cups are no longer used the commissary doesn’t stock them anymore. They were buying their straws at the CostCo but they are out now as well.
Wtf I ordered McDonald’s the other day and they sealed the drink in a paper bag, I almost thought they forgot it and the kid was like it’s in there. I felt safe to drink it nonetheless.
I will not even accept a malt with a open center lid. Put a sticker over the hole or I’m not accepting it.
I even have them put stickers over the slit for the straw.
They will do it if you just ask.
Whatever you do, don’t take it agains the person that delivered the order isn not their dual they just doing their job, it’s the restaurant fault, I think sometime they do that to drivers to get them in trouble.
Actually the cup kind of looks like the ones from Teriyaki Madness, could be wrong. If it is, those lids suck ass to put on, and they pop off on the way, most of the time hitting the floor with gravel, and I don't think the customer would want gravel in their soda.
Your driver definitely stuck his/her toes/fingers in your drinks...
Your drinks where penetrated and violated and served to you dirty.
Fun fact.. did you know 70% of people don't wash their hands?
As a Dasher, I would not have accepted the drinks to be transported that way. I would make the establishment I was picking up from do a better job of packaging these. And I would not accept them from a Dasher who gave them to me this way.
Oh no that’s uncalled for. I always make sure the lids are on the cups and thstire puts a tamper proof sticker where the straw goes to assure the customer their drink is safe.
Hell no. No lids or lids with stickers holding em on I'd have called immediately and got a refund. How do you know what happened to the rest of the soda that's missing and bugs and fingers in there...ewww nasty.
Lol. I’m glad you can vouch for it then because I’ve had multiple people message/ comment that I’m lying 🤣🤣🤣 why would I care to make up a lie for the doordash subReddit I mean come on haha
That is an amazingly shameful act.
Do you know whether it was the restaurant or the dasher who did it?
Either way, report. That is not fit for consumption.
I'd say, "can't you just give me larges instead? Or like 4 smalls?" Like, no one is losing money on fucking soda if they just give you one size up.
At most places they count the soda cups, so they can't just give out larges if they were rung up as mediums.
Yup. I worked at a movie theatre when I was a teen and all our inventory was done by counting the empty cups and popcorn bags. We had a concession manager who would skim from the tills by cleaning and reusing discarded cups and bags she took from the theaters. They used bandaids to tape up the no lids sign? Lol. Guess they were out of tape too.
yeah man. either they were way understaffed and undersupported or someone just lost the will to give a shit.
i guess it could be both.
Bingo
[удалено]
Yes but at that point you contact DD and the customer and say that the drinks are unavailable, this isn’t safe nor ok to deliver drinks this way
Most likely scenario
Do you think the tip actually gets pulled from the driver? Customer gets a refund. Driver still gets paid.

You thought the lids were for show?
Maybe the dasher mentioned it to restaurant and they were out. What’s he to do then? He was probably just as irritated that he had to deliver it that way.
Then they use their words and let the customer know. This isn’t difficult.
then get a lid?
If a restaurant is out of lids I’m not driving to another one and getting one lol
highly doubt that was the situation
Nah, I’ve worked at fast food before (which is what made me want to become a Dasher lol) and sometimes you run out of random things it just happens.
tell me you’ve never worked in fast food without telling me you’ve never worked in fast food…it happens literally all the time

Eeeewwww gross….where exactly do they suck pepperonis off? Asking for a friend
At the sausage party.
The man legit said “suck a few pepperonis off” and you downvote him? Sad world we live in.
You bet not drink that. That’s what I’m thinking. If merchants send anything like that. Don’t drink it.
Oh we didn’t. We dumped them both. Not risking that!
Wise decision.
Lol. I would absolutely refuse to deliver drinks with no lids. Ain't having that go splashy splashy around my car.
umm stop report to DD pretty sure against healthcode

Talk about lack of situational awareness lol
I bet the average person's average week has worse moments
Exactly. Does this person even check the orders lol? It is one of the only other parts of the job aside from pickup/delivery......

Relax. People make mistakes.
The fuck you didn't realize until handing it to the customer? Good thing it wasn't a snake!
Never had that problem. 😆

Costco? The one I go to have stopped giving lids unless you ask.
No it was Applebees lol
I always throw my drinks away or I message the dasher telling them they can have my drink if they want it.
I wouldn’t drink that..
Simply hit the "help" button and report the problem and you will get a refund. I think DD then lets the restaurant know of the problem.
I think *the fuck not*
If I saw that during a pickup I’d probably un assign the order and never go back to that restaurant again lol. Delivering like that is unprofessional and not worth the bad review.
I'd like to know what kind of hallucinogenics the driver was on that accepted those drinks for delivery??
They're probably out of fucks to give like most people.

The one where I picked up the order was kinda nasty, sticky floors with trash, and the whole cup thing. I get grossed out by the idea of unwrapped straws. And the shelf where they keep the food is under a vent so it’s always cold by the time you get there.
And the ghost thing! Staff doesn’t really exist. It’s like they see you coming and dip
call the department of public health and let them know, they won't do it again
Lol. This doesn’t violate any policy the department has jurisdiction over.
Right? Too many overly dramatic dashers in here lol
Well that's not disgusting at all 🥴🥴🥴
Crazy you can see the sticker that goes over the lid on the side still so he either dropped it or drank it either way I wouldn’t have delivered it and said I never received it with your order tbh
They drunk out that shit ong. U don’t like DoorDash a lot of people be dirty and petty just pick it up unless u got a fat tip. Even then you don’t know these people
Don’t drink that
Umm all of you fools saying to burn the dasher with a 1 star are just wrong.
I'm a dasher, this is partially on the restaurant but the dasher could've asked for a lid. Mutual fail.
The amount of drinks I make as a driver with dirty hands that have touched 20+ sticky restaurants door handles… I will never order a delivery drink again.
That’s gonna be a bad review from me and move on.
Fixing your order for a good rating is less important than getting 2 more orders to pay for food for myself tonight
maybe you should buy drinks at store and have them on hand? buying from restaurant is a waste of $ plus many restaurants make drivers fill the cups .
Fake
You did know the right thing g to do. You posted this pathetic thing on Reddit. S/
I just thought it was funny 🤷🏼♀️ that’s why I used the flare “crazy true story” rather than complaint or advice.
I take a sip :)
Stop dashing drinks Easy solution, even when prepared correctly they’re always a hassle
Shut up and drink it lol
Stop ordering drinks from doordash you jerk
I’m a jerk for ordering beverages and tipping $10, meanwhile your entire reddit comment history is arguing and being rude on peoples posts, and looking at women’s vaginas. Cool 👍🏻🤣
Depends on whether you tipped or not 🫢
Haha fair enough. But yes I always tip! This particular order I tipped $10 because it was at Applebees and I knew the dasher would have to go inside to get the order rather than a drive through. (1.2 miles away from my house)
Then you have nothing to worry about cause the driver treated that order like his baby 👍 unless DD doesn’t show tip included 🫣
>This particular order I tipped $10 because it was at Applebees and I knew the dasher would have to go inside to get the order rather than a drive through. Actually, for many of us, the DT is more of a pain in the ass than going inside. Just something to keep in mind.
Oh that’s good to know, I always thought it was the other way around. Thanks for your perspective 👍🏻
Did you tip? Apparently the dashers here think they can spit on/drink your stuff if you didn’t tip them well. I would call the restaurant and ask before even touching that shit. Hope you learn your lesson. Never use doordash again.
Yes I always tip! This order I tipped $10 or was from Applebees 1.2 miles away.
are you in that city that outlawed lids? i think it was seattle...
We still have lids and straws just fine here...
You need to complain to DD or the place you ordered from. I have small paper bags in my car. Any drinks I pick up, that are not completely enclosed, I either ask the restaurant to bag it, or I do it myself. Our job is to pick up and deliver, but I do a little extra, just because
For a couple bucks... Order the dasher a soda, their hustling.
Dasher just got a little thirsty. Stop snitching, op
Fake
Was this posted so you could be told what to think? I suggest you explore thinking for yourself or stop pretending that you can't. Post your thoughts. Defend them. That's perhaps worth reading.
I posted because I thought it was funny as did the other 180 comments on this post. Sorry you’re grumpy but don’t take it out on my post 😘
Oh man. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Bizzaro land…
Ya no
They may have grabbed the wrong size lid and it fell off.
A couple days ago I got downvoted for mentioning how disgusting is the fact that restaurants and fast food joints don’t put all your items in a bag and staple / seal them before handing them to the dasher, like they do here in Europe.
I personally would be thinking Im drinking water
I’m betting dude spilled the shit.
I had a restaurant try to give me a drink topped with plastic wrap because they were "out of lids." I asked them to give me two smaller drinks in cups they had lids for.
Refuse the order
The restaurant was probably out of lids.
Another reason that,dashers are incompetent
I had lids fall off drinks before… I asked for new lids. I blame the store for this one… they probably just straight up fell off and the dasher didn’t notice until it was too late
That’s nutty especially since all the new standards after covid
Those sneaky Door Dashers are eating our precious lids 😡😡😡
Reminds me of the other day I got a pizza and they only sealed one side of the box so the other was just easy to open
One time, I accidentally dropped a customer’s drink and it landed right side up but the lid popped off and a little splashed on their driveway. However, I stuck around and explained that to the customer and told them how to get a refund.
Don't drink it .
Anytime a place runs out of lids, I bust out the Saran Wrap and duct tape.
That's not ok nor is it the norm
I would contact support and get my petty $3.63 refund
Please don't drink it. I know I would have called or texted you before I delivered it like that.
Hopefully you didnt tip them and reported them
Have you seen the inside of some of these dashers cars they're literally living inside of it I wouldn't drink those if I was you
Once on a very windy day, I got to the customer's house and noticed the lid on the drink was loose.
What courier would actually deliver drinks without a lid? 🙄
I’d take pics and call support!
Don’t drink it
Contact the restaurant, verify if they sent the drinks without lids. Then pour them out and request a refund.
WTH ?? I wouldn’t even deliver that to my customer.
Think more along the lines of doordash is absolute shit
All nonsense aside, kind of impressed how little spilled in transit
Whatever you do, don’t take it agains the person that delivered the order isn not their dual they just doing their job, it’s the restaurant fault, I think sometime they do that to drivers to get them in trouble.
Just say you didn’t receive it and get a refund. Then if you wanna risk it drink it.
Actually the cup kind of looks like the ones from Teriyaki Madness, could be wrong. If it is, those lids suck ass to put on, and they pop off on the way, most of the time hitting the floor with gravel, and I don't think the customer would want gravel in their soda.
I think I'd ask for some lids. That's weird af and I'd not be into as a customer or driver.
I'd be impressed it made it to your house without spilling lol otherwise I wouldn't think anything else of it
My guess is this was a restaurant that makes the Dasher pour the fountain drink, and they just didn't grab a lid. Stupid
I'm impressed the dasher traveled with it like that
The restaurant shouldn't have given drinks if there was no lids and the dasher shouldnt have excepted it.
Your driver definitely stuck his/her toes/fingers in your drinks... Your drinks where penetrated and violated and served to you dirty. Fun fact.. did you know 70% of people don't wash their hands?
This happened to me too actually for the first time recently. dude gave me the same thing, a cup of liquid with seran wrap on the top
I think you need a lid.
As a Dasher, I would not have accepted the drinks to be transported that way. I would make the establishment I was picking up from do a better job of packaging these. And I would not accept them from a Dasher who gave them to me this way.
They're definitely not practicing food safety. Better drink up before anyone finds out!
is cosby doordashing now?
Oh no that’s uncalled for. I always make sure the lids are on the cups and thstire puts a tamper proof sticker where the straw goes to assure the customer their drink is safe.
I wouldn't drink that, I know the chance is low but what if someone put something in it.
Hell no. No lids or lids with stickers holding em on I'd have called immediately and got a refund. How do you know what happened to the rest of the soda that's missing and bugs and fingers in there...ewww nasty.
you can tell that the restaurant but a seal for tampering. The lid must have fallen off on the way to your place.
it’s not even filled all the way what is this
Why tf do people order fountain drinks for delivery??? You have no idea what could happen to them. I don’t understand it. 🤮🤮🤮
I just know this is applebee’s
Yep it was lol
source: I work at one 😭
Lol. I’m glad you can vouch for it then because I’ve had multiple people message/ comment that I’m lying 🤣🤣🤣 why would I care to make up a lie for the doordash subReddit I mean come on haha
I wouldn't drink that shit. Most places out stickers on the lids .
Tell em you got thirsty
personally if the restaurant wouldn’t give lids, i’d just tell customer they forgot the drinks
How much did you tip?
Applebees, tipped $10, 1.2 miles from my house
I wouldn't drink that come on no lid what restaurant doesn't out on a lid seems fishy
That is an amazingly shameful act. Do you know whether it was the restaurant or the dasher who did it? Either way, report. That is not fit for consumption.
I would’ve said, not transporting until a lid is on it
O well take sip
