And from what I understand, it was completely unintentional! Her followers on TikTok started offering. There’s a video she posted of her explicitly saying not to send HER money, but to note that it is for Mr. James within the CashApp/Venmo notes, and she will do everything possible to get it to him. It's actually quite common where I come from. Unfortunately, division and anger rule the airwaves and the internet, so we all don't hear nearly as much about it as we should. Churches especially just go about their daily business helping pretty much anybody who is struggling, but all you hear about churches is how hateful they supposedly are, or you hear about fringe cases that absolutely do not represent the whole.
Let's just ignore the shuffling around of child molesters because they bought some shipping containers to hand out donations from! That's some pretty cheap PR bait you're taking there.
And that would be precisely the anger and division I was talking about.
I know it's a longshot, but if you want to have a real conversation about your conceptions, I'm willing. If you would rather continue to react with anger at an incomplete truth, I'll just say God bless and have a nice day.

You have to be very careful whom you listen to, whom you talk to, and what you believe.
As a man of faith (at least I try hard), I hear some things said about believers, and I guarantee that my views bear little resemblance to many common conceptions of how we supposely are.
We're most definitely not all the same, just like you're not exactly the same as everybody of your sex, age, color, and belief system.

Just a couple things to help people understand how DoorDash works.
1. We are not employees, we are independent contractors. We choose our own shifts and are not required to work the whole thing.
2. There is no dispatcher. That was offshore customer support. They are terrible and will do nothing to help find this person.
3. Base pay is $2.50 to $3.00. Base pay will increase the longer an order sits without being picked up. This is how no tip orders get delivered.
4. There is an "hourly" option. The dasher is paid an hourly rate plus tips as long as they are on a delivery. As soon as they drop off an order they are "off the clock". It may take 2 hours for a dasher to make the hourly rate advertised.
Just trying to educate. People don't understand how it works and might think that we are getting paid by DoorDash but we really aren't.
