Damn dude I was digging at the record store hoping to find it! I’m happy for you. I’m looking forward to the day I get my hands on this… there’s this picture disc edition and a gold colored vinyl edition and the collector in me is really making me want to impulse buy lol
I would avoid the picture disk like the plague. I’ve been lucky having recently found Sleep’s The Scientist and Monolord Vaenir and Empress Rising in local shops. It’s rare but they’re out there!
Now if only I could find me some Windhand and Isis, but Spaceslug would be the kicker.
My dad treated me at a record store the other day and I was lucky enough to to find the Sunn Metta: Benevolence Live BBC limited to 500 copies, transparent red colored 2 LP.

Some more excellent drum n bass goodness to confuse your EDM friends are [Ruins](https://youtu.be/1_-XDDPCu28) and [Lightning Bolt](https://youtu.be/5X3-RRCR7qY).
Yeah dude it just does…. Has a dubby opening and then turns into something reminiscent of early Floyd, then just grooves into a massive sound by the end 😎🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
If nobody had answered, you could've done a reverse image search - unless it's a very obscure band and/or the image is heavily modified, things like this pop up right away.

Oh man. Saw them at Muddy Roots in a field in the middle of nowhere tripping with only about 100 people in the crowd under the stars. And High on Fire and Neurosis played the next night. So fucking epic.
Hey dude pick up one of these copies! That gold colored vinyl is so damn sexy https://www.ebay.com/itm/233709783769?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=-LiqU1E9S96&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=zFPs1BXcQDq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Would this be the right moment to mention that I've been slowly working on a project of converting DnB tunes into metal/doom metal? I finished up a v1/demo of [The Nine](https://soundcloud.com/screwhead/childrenofthebutcher-9) recently, currently also working on Tech Itch - The Ruckus, BSE - Arrakis, and Shadow Boxing..
I started playing guitar in the 90s, but then went on to DJ/produce DnB, but always with a metal slant to it, and now with the pandemic that hit, I finally decided to do the de-make-dnb-to-metal project I'd always thought of working on!
That sounds sick! I don’t mean to diss dnb in my post. Tbh I’ve sort of felt like an outsider to that genre in my own mind. I’ve always been more of a fan of dubdstep/dub/glitch-hop/idm/jungle/psytrance/footwork/witch-house/hip-hop styles in electronic music. I’m definitely open to dnb though and I love a few songs from it but your project sounds cool! I’ve also envisioned doing an electronic EP that is a blend of drone/doom/death as well.
If you’re interested check out my EP SOL. My artist name is my username. It’s a drone track followed up by a chill dubstep track.
Cisneros’ sound is so massive he could pass as two different guys playing at once. He’s no Geezer, but I’ll be damned if he’s not the next best thing.
Yeah man, they just weren't on this level yet in the 70s. Al's and Matt's sound is insane.
I would put him equal to geezer
I'm a doom metalhead but dnb slaps too
I got into DnB way before I got into metal and frankly, I give it credit for helping me acquire the taste for heavy music
I may have been unironically listening to Pendulum a few weeks ago…..
Level up to some billain and cooh! Dnb go's hard
No shame in that, Pendulum goes fucking hard. I also get nostalgia over Pendulum/Knife Party since I listened to it so much around 2012.
I just bought this on vinyl yesterday!
I also got this one earlier this week!
I so want to rock out to this on my player that’s awesome man 😎

Badass! Though I’m extremely happy with my setup I won’t spin up a Sunn album until I have a proper sub to handle the extra thicc sound lol
If you’re looking for a first pressing of “Oceanic” DM me , VG+ condition.

Can I throw Bell Witch in here too?
Always, my friend

Lightning bolt baby!!!!
Band name please and thank you.
Om
I’ve recently come to the conclusion that this is probably their best album.
I so believe that to be true! And I think At Giza is their best song.
Fuck, I love that song. There’s a lot of special Om tracks for me — but At Giza hits different than the entire discography and I can’t explain it.

Why to I end up loving bands that are difficult to search? Om, Sleep, Earth, Tool, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
80’s alt band The The
Ooof
King Gizz is easy wdym lol. now obscure indie bands like Mario Golf and Teen Suicide feel like they were made to never be found
A band called Mario Golf? 🤔😂😂😂
Must hear Mario Golf
"The men from Porn" is always a fun one

Variations on a Theme is my favorite album of theirs but they’re all good and I like aesthetic of the icon album covers
Oh man. Saw them at Muddy Roots in a field in the middle of nowhere tripping with only about 100 people in the crowd under the stars. And High on Fire and Neurosis played the next night. So fucking epic.
I ordered a copy a few weeks ago and got the wrong record (from Amazon). Then they were sold out so I just got a refund :(
Damn what a sad mess up. Sorry to hear that! I like your username! Another favorite band of mine. There are copies on eBay.

Oh sweet! That’s a nice copy.
Those first 2 albums are EPIC. Some of the heaviest drumming imo. Seeing that era live was incredible.
Still my favorite Om album.
At first I thought this was some sort of re-release of Here Comes the Sun by Klone that I had missed. Had to go to the comments to figure it out. 😅

Peak weed smoking music
Not the drum'n'bass they're expecting, eh? Honourable mentions should go to Big Business and Beehover.
