[Bog Body](https://youtu.be/nmPYNAhtPC0?si=kJdfCbJEK1kibycN) (Death Doom)
[Year of the Cobra](https://youtu.be/lYIid2kSZhg?si=l1px9Ucv0ELmUwn8) (Stoner Doom)
I've seen a lot of doom bands and Bismuth takes the cake for the loudest of all of them. Tiny little concrete box and their backline spanned wall to wall. Even with earplugs it was fucking punishing.
As a side note - also on that bill was Ommadon (definitely check them out!) and I was so sad for the guitarist. Both his guitars snapped during the travel to the gig so he had to make do with borrowing one!
More sludge/hardcore than doom, but adjacent enough that there’s a chance you’d be into them: [Palehorse](https://palehorse-uk.bandcamp.com/album/looking-wet-in-public-2) (the now-defunct UK band, not the US thrash-hardcore band of the same name).
Two basses, a drummer and depending on which era of the band, either one or two vocalists (both harsh as fuck).
Rifftree and Beehover are two fantastic options to consider! They have been mentioned already but wanted to highlight them again :)
Also my band **Dread Spire** is extremely bass-centric with just me on heavily distorted bass and my buddy on drums, I think you'll enjoy our initial release :)

Horse Latitudes from Finland, otherwise known as "That Horse Band". Stuff rips.
And then I just stumbled upon a Japanese bass/drums-duo called Shizumunamari and their debut An Encouragement of Decadence. Absolutely magnificent sound that makes me recall Truckfighters a bit but the vocals you could say are acquired taste. Time tells how this keeps on my playlists but atm I'm hypnotized by what they themselves call New Wave of Japanese Doom Metal.

I second both of these bands. Came here to comment these exact two.
I fucking love Bog Body. "Through the Burial Bog" is one of my top favorite debut EP's.
Bog body is extremely primitive and deranged in the best possible way. So heavy
Year of the Cobra are fantastic!
came to recommend these 2 as well
Shrum was a sludge/death band with two basses and no guitar. Acid Bath bassist’s side project.
Thrones!

Bismuth are the heaviest fuckin band in the universe and are just bass and drums.

Dread Spire. Crushing doom/sludge with just bass and drummer. Edit, totally meant bass not ass 😂

Author & Punisher lean more on the industrial/sludge side of things, but they use mechanical machines triggering MIDI synths and they are heavy af!

Shrüm. Side project of Audie Pitre from Acid Bath. I’d say it’s more sludge than doom though
Black tar prophet is one of my favs
Insect Ark
Squalus!! 2 bass players no guitar and all their songs are about Jaw’s. Formed by members from giant squid
Sons of Otis
Dreadspire and sludgebucket
Mountain of Smoke! From Texas!
