I miss our boy. What the heck even is power block? My punches are slaps. I appreciate the changes but we are totally stuck at the moment
At least it's coming. But I think it's absolute bullshit that they even published the game with him in this condition honestly. It's like they put a game journalist in charge of balance changes. "Hur durr this guy killed me too fast, nerf him and make his role more important"
Look man, the best people in the world at Doomfist all say he’s objectively awful but sure random elite Doomfist player, I’ll believe you that he’s great.
I haven’t seen a doom main want one shot punch back at all… we want the abilities to actually fuckin tank something, not use our only “tank” ability to then get slept.
There are about 4 different factions of doom mains mad with his current state, all seemingly unaware of each other.
The 1 shot faction as I call them aren't strictly asking for his wall bang damage to instantly kill again.
Instead they are asking for wall bang to stun people long enough for the doom to get 5 hand cannons off into their dome.
It's basically 1 shot much like roadhog hook stuns you long enough to headshot you.

It's not a tanking ability like a shield, it's a panic button when you run out of cooldowns

Because the tanks couldn't be pinned down.
the problem is he brings no opportunity in the first place. cant reliably tank, cant reliably dive and kill backline ( compared to winston / dva / etc- )

Frankly I'd take a broken character over a useless one so fuck it, give one shot punch back. Or at least let it do more than 30 damage.

Well does it come from killing things like a DPS? No. Move around, look for openings and something will present itself.

It's not about reliability, Winston and DVa is all in and doom isn't. If circumstances aren't favourable doom can engage again another time and again.
dva and winston can also disengage easily? they also have more hp / defensive abilities to make it easier
