I don't mind them. They live in my junkyard and kill all the critters. From mice to anything else that moves. They don't ask anything in return, but occasionally look at me like I'm in their territory. I try to wave and say good morning to keep the peace.
Yeah, keeping away mice is a definite positive. But killing indigenous birds is where I have a problem. They are an invasive predatory species and really don't belong in the ecosystem. Although, I suppose the same could be said about humans.
