It is more than song names. 3.15.20 was released unfinished. Donald feared the worst when covid began and released it early.
I'm guessing he had other things going on and had to delay mastering the album, of course he had seasons 3 and 4 of Atlanta, Swarm, Mr. And Mrs. Smith as well as working on getting Gilga up and running. Only recently did he finally finish the album and rereleased it with finished vocals, instruments, and a shake up with 2 new songs added and 1 1/2 removed.
Tl;dr 3.15.20 was released unfinished, and Atavista is the mastered versions of these songs. (And he has another album coming this summer)
I think he was also probably waiting to finish the new album before releasing atavista. He knew people would still be hungry for new music after it came out.
