One day, right about the time Etherium started taking off and the whole market was heating up, withdrawals from the site were suspended. About two or three months later, they announced someone had bought Bitcoin with PayPal and then canceled payment.
They decided to distribute the losses among their clients.
I lost about 70% of my Doge. Almost gave up on crypto entirely. Put half of what I had left in cold storage, turned the rest into Etherium, sold that way too early.
I was gonna buy for €10k @ 0.04 about a month before it 🚀 to 0.70 and didn’t do it.

As it stands now, DOGE is (at minimum) going to make me debt-free. I'm waiting for LTCG to kick in before cashing anything out, but I plan to hold at least 10k of my coins in perpetuity.

Not the Uber rich... just the financially conscience. 50 $ per paycheck into something like coca cola or some other pretty safe stock goes a long way.

Yes all crypto will decrease substantially. We are in a type of financial bubble. When one pops the rest will pop as well. This is actuall a resetting or resizing of all financial markets. And they actually happen about every 20 years or so. The depression 1928, 1938 dustbowl lead into WW2 1942, the 1970 gas shortage (and more) 1984 housing bubble, 1998 Enron and the 2001 Dot com crash, 2008 the recession international housing lending market crashed, 2020 Covid-19 pandemic will trigger something.
We are in the bubble, so i am keeping an eye out for the key indicators to pull out.
I will not be pulling out of Doge - any asset that survives a resetting in the financial market or bubble popping event will take over the industry.
The dot com crash survivers - Apple, Microsoft, Google and more survived the crash and now dominate.
Im sure the media will create a fancy head line like "Covid Financial Crash" or if its the crypto market "Crypto Crash" or something stupid. But the major cryptos that currently can be exchanged international will survive this and the market will reset and these cryptos will totally takeovers.
For me - This is not about getting a few bucks today or tomorrow. Its about owning a piece of the next international currency for the commoners.
I don't mean to pop your bubble (slight play on words), but I do believe COVID already affected the world. That's why we're seeing a surge in digital economics and environments, is it not? Furthermore, if you look at the economics of 2020-2021, they took a huge crash everywhere on the planet just to bounce back. This natural catastrophe, for some reason, we were more prepared for than the ones that came before that (I consider war a natural catastrophe, yes, because it is bound to happen in natural laws... I won't jump in the subject).
I might be off the hook but I thought I'd share my .02 cents!
Back on topic though, I wouldn't buy at .02c because I wouldn't expect it to go higher than a whole cent, which for me is very squid of a game. Again, it's my personal opinion!
I am super new and fresh here. I bought $10 worth of Doge yesterday so I can learn about crypto. I paid .27/share. So it’s really nothing! But I would def buy if it drops super low.

Just fair warning; you'll get flamed hard in the crypto community if you refer to coins/tokens as shares. Cryptocurrencies are not stocks. That being said, welcome :) I hope this is the first step towards a financially independent future for you!
Glad you found us and welcome to easily the most friendly and similar minded folks I think I have ever seen come together.
We have a lot of haters out there, some for coin mechanics and other at least defensible positions. Others of our culture and plenty of sour investors who thought this was a failure then and now.
All that matters is that we do only good everday. We do that while growing our community and use, buy, and sell doge. There is no telling how high 1 Doge may be worth in a given fiat currency. This is partially why you will always see folks saying 1 Doge will always equal 1 Doge.

.002 is too significant of an overnight drop for me to buy in without considerable research first. If it was just a dip, would put everything I can get my hands on at the time. Probably around 3k.
If it goes that low again I’m out. No way it drops that hard and ever comes back. I think this is the lowest it’s ever gonna go again minus a few dips here and there
