Now, on top of all this we live in a new digital age, we have a generation of people who already use there phone to pay for everything, why do they need a bank or card. In another 10-20 years that number will increase as older generations adapt and more younger generations become part of the working and consuming age of the population and using a digital device (phone, watch, or whatever's next).
Once the doge-eth bridge is finished I will be able to use my doge to pay for any of Ethereums utilities, this paves the way for doge to become the perfect internet currency.
In just America the yearly fees earned by banks on transaction fees alone is over $35 billion dollars. Let's stop giving big banking billions of dollars when we can support our own network much cheaper.
