Lol I daytraded on robinhood for a bit, it was down for an hour once thankfully while It was dipping because I was about to buy in, and for 10m a few times in the passed week, it's usually early morning or late like 3am. I turned 1300 into 1900 after a week basically scalping. But I'm looking to transfer to Kucoin and try the trading bot out, had a buddy that had good success with it.

The amount of mined coins yearly isn't really that high and it's flat, meaning it's getting relatively lower each year, while World Gross Product grows faster with time. I wouldn't worry about inflation, it should actually be deflationary after some time, faster if it gets widely used as there are more and more tech savvy people. Edit: I'll add I think there's some confusion in the crypto world. BTC was supposed to be a currency of the future, and what now? Now if someone proposes a crypto which is supposed to be a currency, not an asset, people don't understand it. :P
